Each of us have an important responsibility to walk in the way of the Lord each and every day. The only way that you can do this is by spending time studying God's Word and applying it to your life. In this podcast, we will take time to look into God's Word and apply it to the situations of life.
As we begin a new study in Jude, I encourage you to read through Jude once a day. It is a short read and yet I believe that God will use it in your life to encourage you to continue to seek Him in a greater way!
Many of us struggle to memorize Scripture. There are all sorts of excuses that we make. But does the Bible tell us that we need to memorize it. As we begin our study on How to Memorize Scripture, we will see the necessity of Scripture memorization.
This is our 2nd lesson in the Trusting God in Troubled Times series. Are you wasting your trial or in the midst of it, are you busy investing for eternity?
How can you live wisely when it comes to temptation? There are so many sins that we can easily struggle with. Can I blame Satan for my sin? How about God? Today we will study from James 1:12-18 and see how we can live wisely in light of temptation.
We are beginning a new study in our Wednesday evening service dealing with anthropology. In the Sunday School hour of our church, we have begun a study based on the book written by R.B. Ouellette entitled Trusting God in Troubled Times. If you aren't in a trial you will likely be facing one soon! But you don't have to doubt and worry, you can trust God
As we begin studying the book of James, we will look at wisdom. We need wisdom in many areas of life, but today we will look at James 1:1-11 and see how we can live wisely in the trials of life.
After death, there is no more hope of an eternity with Christ....unless of course you have trusted Christ as Savior in this life. Do you know Jesus Christ as your Savior? If so, will you share the confidence of salvation that is found only in Jesus Christ?
Is Christlikesness a necessity? According to many passages of Scripture, we are to live like Christ, so are you living that way? Christlikeness can't simply be defined as external behavior, but it must come from the inside. That is the difference Christ makes.
So how will you direct your thinking?
Walking in the Spirit sounds like some out of this world experience. It is actually something that you are able to do as you spend time in the Word of God, yielding to the Spirit of God. In today's episode, we will talk about three truths that you need to know if you are going to walk in the Spirit.
