Democratisation is a critical process for marginalised space stakeholders. Still, the opinions, needs, and beneficiation of space development has not been considered in the context of developing countries. Democratisation should be understood not only as mere accessibility but as the ability to ensure a fair, equitable, and inclusive use of outer space for the benefit of all humanity. This discussion views these issues and solutions from an anthropological, ethical and inclusive lens.

Our podcast is a new dawn in thinking about humankind’s return and exploration of our planet’s closest heavenly neighbor. In this teaser, Giuli & Ru introduce themselves and the goals of the podcast.

Our project has the goal of shaping the future of lunar exploration in a way that reflects new and old values. We aim to represent and include the whole of humanity, not a small advantaged minority. We want to embody different social, political and personal identities in an intersectional way, and understand the conditions needed for a powerful change in the near future.

Every week, we will present new content in our blog showing pressing issues from a different angle, highlighting our social justice concerns. Every two weeks, we will release an episode of this podcast where we deepen our understanding through interviews and chats with people who believe in our ideal and can lend their voices to the discussion of a successful, inclusive lunar future.
