Have you taken time to sit and actually consider how much God loves you? Like what exactly that entails, what the price and the the results of God's love is? How that love can and will impact your life if you allow it to? In this episode we reflect on the very power of God's radical love, and how it can deeply effect our life.
Being tempted by something we know we shouldn't be doing is normal for all people. While there is nothing wrong with temptation itself, how we respond in the moment can make temptation become sin. So how should we respond to temptation? Today we'll look at 1 Corinthians 13 for an incredibly valuable piece of scriptural truth that should have a huge impact on our lives.
One mark of a disciple is having a hunger to be with God. Sometimes as Christians we can fall into a rut when meeting with God can feel like a chore. Today we look at Psalm 119 and reflect on how important it is to prioritize our time with God, and how we can break from that rut.
Knowing the true value of something helps us to determine where to invest our time, resources, and energy. When we invest in something that is low in value we end up missing out on the things that have the real value. In Philippians 3 Paul tells us what above all else should be valued.
While we biologically are "alive" - are you actually alive? Today we take a quick jump into Ephesians chapter 2 to get a better understanding of what truly makes us alive.
In this Sunday review we'll cover what was discussed in youth group on 5/2/21. We talk about Psalm 42 and what it looks like to authentically desire to be with God.
Where we do we turn to in life for truth? Many places offer answers, but there is only one true source. We jump into John 6:60 in this short study to see what Jesus said that drove many of his disciples away, and how we too should respond.
In todays short study we'll look at Ecclesiastes 10:10. Using the right tool for the job plays a big role in getting the job done right. However using a broken tool, or one in disrepair makes a task for more difficult. Solomon urges us to recognize the areas in our life where we need to "sharpen our axe", to develop and hone our skills for success.
In todays Sunday review, we'll be reviewing what was covered in person on 4/19/21 when we explored the book of Romans chapter 1 and talked about the importance of the gospel in our lives, and the lives of those around us.
We're going to kick off a little segment called "Short Study". We'll take five to ten minutes and breakdown a piece of scripture and what it means to our lives. Today we're looking at the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
