I decided to come out of my shell a little bit so I decided on this platform I will explore my experiences and relationship with literacy and how I overcame my hate for reading and writing. I will also be sharing some poems and shorts stories I have written. But remember this is just about the life of an ordinary introvert.
The problem that I am addressing is that schools perpetuate the school to prison pipeline through policies and curriculum that are put into place that have a direct effect on the students. I want to explore the ways that teachers and students participate in resistance. I will use my personal experiences to explore how I perform teacher resistance and examples from my students and their resistance to create cultural production.
