Founded by Garie Adamson in 1992 as both one of the world's first hip hop & Toronto-based clothing companies, 100 Miles is a brand that has created timeless designs of shirts, pants, hoodies, lifestyle gear and more over its history, providing top choice contemporary style to legendary artists from TUPAC SHAKUR, BIGGIE SMALLS, ODB-WU TANG CLAN, to Drake and many others. Expanding even further into hats and bandanas as well as other additional branding opportunities as it continues to grow over 20 years later, 100 Miles is running laps around the pretenders out there only in it for the short term. It's a marathon journey, not a sprint to the top. Peace to 100 Miles and Garie, we look forward to talking to him on the Reminisce Show! - Logik & Mindbender

In the personal opinion of Mindbender: our next guest on The Reminisce Show IS the Greatest MC In Canadian History! Of course, that's a very debatable discussion, and we would like to invite you to join our conversation with the one and only SHAD K also known as Shadrach Kabango, to see who he thinks is the best MC between: Maestro, Kardi or Drake... or him! Born in Kenya and soon after moving to London, Ontario, Shad has humbly but spectacularly risen to international prominence through a variety of creative endeavors that we will discuss together, such as his seven hip hop albums (one of which won 'Album of the Year' in 2010... over ya boy Drizzy & 'Take Care', ), his five EPs with artists as diverse as DJ Scratch Bastid, DJ T-Lo and Holy Fuck, his former CBC talk show, to his Emmy & Peabody Award-winning documentary series 'Hip Hop Evolution', which has been blessing Netflix for four seasons now, and counting. Will we get a Canadian Hip Hop Evolution season? How does Shad come up with those stunningly clever lyrics? What does it feel like to create hip hop music now that he's a married father of two daughters? Did Will Smith ever hear Shad's version of 'Bel-Air'? So many wonderful, insightful, intriguing and original questions are going to be discussed and explored when we sit down to talk to SHAD, on a special 8:30 PM edition of 'The Reminisce Show', featuring Logik & Mindbender! See you Tuesday night as usual!
As we enter 2022 we explored how the 7 principles of Kwanzaa could act as pillars in establishing integrity, discernment and foster flourishing digital community globally. history has been known to repeat itself so we unpacked Black Body in the digital era, Organizations partnering with Black Community vs positioning to compete, Umba Daima/BlackNFTart and the African NFT Community
We also came across a meme that we found useful in understand Web3 language:

Creators =Founders
DAOs = Management
Collectors = Shareholders
JPEG= Stock Certificate
Royalties = Revenue
Tokens = Dividends

You good fam?!
Yo we just had another powerful meeting of the minds with brothers tapping in from Ghana, California and of course Toronto! Not mention our chat was booming with people from South Africa, New Orleans , Calgary to name a few!
The phrase “let there be light” would suggest that darkness is the prequel to manifestation. Darkness is merely the absence of light. People have been showing us a lot of love appreciating Black men hosting conversations rooted in emotional intelligence but for many of us it was a process of trials and tribulations to arrive at this point. Join us today as we share some back stories to our enlightenment
Themes that came up:

-The power of community love
-Family/ cultural identity
-connection to God
-Seeing each other as Brothers and not The N-Word ( it’s hard to hate your brother but easy to hate a N-Word)
-seeing beyond our immediate circumstance

If you know about who is arguably Toronto's most successful and most legendary hip hop collective, you know the name The Circle. And if you know who Kardinal Offishall is, you definitely should also know the name Solitair. A founding member of the former yet super-successful production team The Black Jays with Kardinal, Solitaire is a multi-talented hip hop head with a heart of gold to go along with it. His first single "Silver Surfer" put him on the Canadian map, and since then, he just continued making dope beats, dope rhymes and quietly being a dope representative of Toronto hip hop. "Silver House and the Girl" (S.H.A.G.) was the production team he created with Kardinal in 2000, and produced for Nina Sky, Glenn Lewis, Cham, Maestro, Rascalz, Kardinal Offishall, Ivana Santilli, Jully Black, Choclair, and Sugar Jones among others, but wouldn't stop there. In 2006, he kept his song-crafting skills expanding and began collaborating with Cipha Sounds in NYC, providing music for legends like Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Dj Khaled, Jim Jones, Elephant Man and Trey Songz. Solitaire continues to be involved in both the hip hop industry and community service, speaking at schools around Toronto and inspiring youth to make music. Join The Reminisce Show as we catch up to Solitair and see what he's humbly and greatly building in 2001.

DJX One of Canada's, and therefore, the world's greatest DJ's, the OG known as Adrien "DJX" King has been sacrificing, celebrating and spinning hip hop culture since the early 80's, and has never stopped, even though his journey has had as many twists and turns as hip hop culture itself. Born in Vancouver, and moving to Toronto later in life, DJX got his start helping out the very first hip hop radio show in college radio history, the Fantastic Voyage show featuring notorious promoter/DJ Ron Nelson, and subsequently christening it "The Powermove Show". That unparalleled hip hop radio show dominated Saturday afternoons in Toronto from 1989 until 2000, where it broke/debuted countless Canadian, American & international hip hop records, as well as showcased dozens of MCs on their popular segment 'Eat The Beat', as well as nurturing numerous MCs & DJs careers and connections by being a central community hub for the people to gather at every Saturday. Moving on to spin at Flow 93.5 FM and then to other commercial radio stations in Toronto, DJX continued to evolve and explore. Eventually, Adrien started a consulting company called TheSecretService.com in the early 2010's, and since then, DJX has continued to help grow, shape and guide artists of all kinds in Toronto and beyond to bigger and better things in Black music and modern entertainment. No matter the year, DJX has never stopped making powermoves!
