Andre and Shauny discuss why love is not enough to make relationships work. I believe that we have been told all our lives that love is all we need, which is not true. We need values, vision and lifestyle. A relationship without trust is like a relationship without gas in the car. “ You can stay in the car but it will go nowhere”

Regardless of our age, at each stage of life, we should take a moment to take stock, to do a self-evaluation. We should know who we are and understand what we want. We should have asked ourselves the tough questions, see ourselves clearly, and make adjustments if necessary. This doesn't guarantee success but it guarantees that you will feel good about how you are living your life.

Dating a woman with a child or children can be very exciting, fulfilling, and challenging at the same time. Traditional dating allows two people to get to know one another, build a special bond and decide if starting a family is right for them. These are still some of the same steps that couples take when children are already involved, but with some added creativity and sensitivity. Though you may not be sure if you’re ready to be a parent, know that respecting a woman’s children is imperative for making a relationship work. At the end of the day, you want to be a supportive influence in her life.

If you have no desire to move forward in a stable relationship and are only looking for a good time, be upfront, don’t expect a lot of her time, and stay out of the children’s lives. A revolving door of relationships is so unhealthy for the children.

Women need to feel loved, and men need to feel respected. We discussed Why respect yourself, you know when to say “no” to what is no longer emotionally, mentally, or financially healthy for you.  Gaining self-respect is about learning your worth, knowing your value, and advocating for yourself, as needed. I truly believe Love is the highest level of comfort and serenity and possibly the greatest joy.

Yes, love is vital, especially for the wife, but what we have missed is the husband’s need for respect. No husband feels fond feelings of affection and love in his heart when he believes his wife has contempt for who he is as a human being. Wives are made to love, want to love, and expect love. Husbands are made to be respected, want respect, and expect respect. As I wrestled with the problem, I finally saw a connection, without love from him, she reacts without respect; without respect from her, he reacts without love.

People don’t fully understand all that life insurance can do for them while they are alive. Life insurance is best known for its death benefit protection, but that is often where the conversation seems to end. Life insurance is one of the most powerful but misunderstood and under-appreciated financial products available today. The life insurance industry and many financial advisers need to do a better job of teaching consumers how life insurance really works and how they can enjoy the many living benefits of the policy. The best place for you to start to learn the truth about life insurance, how it works and how it can benefit you is to contact your financial adviser.

It’s supposed to mean she can live independently on her own and does not require the help or means from someone else.

But to be fair it depends which woman is saying this… some people really don’t understand what independent means this also goes for men who still receive backhands from mummy and daddy. 1. She makes her own money. If she marries and becomes a mother then she supports her husband in his endeavors and has her own hobbies and money making “side hustle.” She also may be very financially savvy serving as the CFO (chief financial officer) of the household which frees her spouse up to focus on advancing professionally and helping more people thus generating more income. 2. She has a clear vision for her future. 3. She assumes 100% responsibility for all outcomes and is never a victim. 4. She communicates with grace, kindness and knows how to ask for what she wants. 5. She had healthy and clear boundaries. When she says yes, she means it because she can just as easily say no. 6. She can do things for herself or can find and hire others to do things for her. Broken refrigerator? No problem. Within 10 minutes she’s on the phone with the repairman setting up an appointment. 7. She’s loves herself first, most, best and always. She doesn’t need a man. She simply wants a man and enjoys the growth a relationship provides both people in it. 8. She’s charismatic. 9. She’s confident. 10. She knows how to cook.

After being in a serious relationship for such a long time, it can feel near to impossible to remember who you were before it all started, and it can be even harder to become that person again once you've remembered. Believe it or not, being single for a while after ending a long-term relationship has its benefits. It's easy to focus on the negative and ignore all the positive things about being single, though. One positive is getting to experience a renewed sense of freedom. You can focus only on yourself for a change instead of always thinking of your significant other when making decisions.

Relationships give us a sense of security. You get used to having another person around all the time, even if things haven't been going smoothly for a while. Falling asleep alone can be especially challenging for some people after a breakup.

Tips Moving on After Serious Relationships

  1. Stop blaming yourself for how things ended.
  2. Give yourself some time to be sad.
  3. Understand that being single will feel weird, foreign, and uncomfortable at first.
  4. Remove pictures, items, and memories of your ex from regular view.
  5. Mix things up with a vacation, furniture shuffle, or a new outfit.
  6. Rekindle and strengthen your friendships and support network.
  7. Recognize and be proud of yourself, knowing that you aren't defined by who you're dating.

Kwon Hosey shares his recovery process after sustaining a life altering car crash that left him hospitalized in 2020. Hosey also expounds on his purpose, traumas, intentions, motivations, new book, College life and relationships.

Untitled by Kwon Hosey

I write so that niggas can learn to cry again. So that we have the courage to look down at our own scars. I write so that maybe I can help the stars align in someone else’s universe.

I write to tell the stories that we hide. The stories that I hide from the world. The stories that only God has seen and I am scared to tell anyone else. I write so that eventually my words may come to life, and maybe be life for someone else.

I write because my tears have turned into ink for my pen. Words say so much, or maybe they don’t say anything at all. Maybe words don’t speak as loud as our silence. Maybe I should just learn to shut up.

But now that about half of Americans are fully vaccinated, some are trickling back into the office.

Today we’re discussing what you can expect when you return to work. As states start to open back up, that means for many people, companies, and industries there will be some part of a physical office back in their work-life and you might want to know what that will look like.

Let’s talk about sex and money and how it drives our lives.

True happiness has absolutely nothing to do with money or sex or both.

First. Sex, is a physical action. it’s a wonderful thing when you are with someone you love, and there are those who say it’s part of our primitive brain to need it, besides air, water, food, clothes/shelter. But it is a personal choice on whether you make this a necessity for your happiness.

Second. Money does not buy happiness. Have you heard it said “money is the root of all evil”? Well, that’s actually misquoted, because the true text in the bible is - “ LOVE of money is the root of all evil” So you can not love money and be happy.

Third. Most people do not understand the connection between money, happiness, and the having or not having enough money actually IS…

Fourth. So to explain #3, (A.) Money IS a tool. (B.) Happiness IS an emotion. (C.) the Having or Not Having Enough Money IS an opinion.

By taking an active role in our own lives, we can decrease the incidence of preventable chronic diseases, such as heart disease, help to lower healthcare costs over time, and foster a happier and healthier community-at-large.

6 steps to sustain your wealth

  1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day.
  2. Exercise regularly
  3. Maintain a healthy diet
  4. Do regular medical check-ups
  5. Be happy
  6. Sleep at least 6 hours a day

I do believe money doesn´t buy happiness. However, this thing between happiness and money may be trickier than just that. Money can be a tool to motivate you to achieve major milestones in your life, which can make you feel happier in the long run. It buys a lot of things that does pretty much help happiness, For examples, health, housing, transportation, education, possibility to take time off. I feel it’s a saying made up by rich people.

In this video, we’ll be discussing the importance of setting boundaries, managing conflicts, standing your ground in arguments and many more tips on how to build a healthy relationship. A lot of black parents struggle with co-parenting because we have so much hatred towards the other parent. I never had a great example when it comes to co-parents, so I had to figure it out while going through it. I hope this helps people become better at this and it continues to get better.

It’s not easy and will always be a journey. It’s something that changes and grow as you grow. But it is possible, and it is worth it.

In this video - This happened one, two, three times too much. Some men cheat. Yet, some men cause hurt beyond infidelity. Some men are so ruthless, conniving, and reckless with love that they selfishly destroy the lives of every woman that is unfortunate enough to cross their path.

How many times have you heard this? Every female has stated, “that nigga aint shit” at some point in her life. After the age of 21, if you’re still blaming your failed relationships on the fact that HE aint shit, you need to take a step back & reevaluate your life. While I don’t doubt the fact that some men have “ain’t shit” flowing through their veins its time to realize that you have some play in it. Lets pause and think about this logically. If you, as a woman, are attracting men who “ain’t shit” then there is something about you that are attracting these type of man. Laws of Attraction, you attract what you portray. In this episode we listened to a woman story how she came to this conclusion.

Sex can mean different things to different people. When most people talk about ‘having sex’ they are usually referring to sexual intercourse or penetrative sex. It is also possible to be ‘sexual, without actually having sex.

Before you can show up for your partner, you need to show up for yourself. A great relationship that stands the test of time takes effort and work. It requires that two people meet each other halfway and commit to growing as individuals and as a couple. A lot of people get stuck with the belief that, if a relationship takes work, then that must mean that two people aren’t meant to be together.

Yes, some people are naturally more compatible than others. However, at the end of the day, I have yet to meet an amazing couple that didn’t tell me that being together doesn’t take work.
