What's It All About: Recent Episodes

Eoghan Dowling

Hopefully a chat about anything and everything where I (Eoghan) can be a bit funny and a bit ridiculous. Hopefully I wont be alone in every episode and people can join in the craic. We might rangle up some good topics and I'll tell you What It's All About.

This week I return after 4 months, accompanied by my dad. Robbie Dowling has some great Halloween related stories and some not Halloween related story. Some great stories and some good laughs were had. Great reminiscing and good to be back.

Some people asked for it back and due to partially popular demand we are back.

Enjoy folks!

This week sees the return of the pod after a month off-air. Whilst delighted to be back I am overcome with emotion as Denmark got knocked out of Euros and England face an inform Italian team on Sunday to determine the winner. I also turn my attention to Love Island which also saw its return during the hiatus. I discuss getting the vaccine, some terrible banter and the voice of a man slowly going insane. Glad to be back, and I'M STAYING BACK!!!!! Enjoy you crazy Eyetalians.

This week we're celebrating the return of Dan in person and the return of the European Football Championships with a special where we tried to face off rival foods against one another but, there was a twist - we put the foods together to find out what the two combined would taste like. "Great idea!" I hear you cry. Tears is what you will hear me cry as we chow down on some of the greatest delicacies the local Polski Shklep had to offer. We also videoed some of it although 90% of it will not make the final cut as it was malojan. Some woeful viewing and some audible chewing.

So sit down, tuck in and up the Poles or as they say in Poland Na Zdrowie!

DISCLAIMER: SAUERKRAUT IS GERMAN, THE POLISH DISH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SOME SAUERKRAUT AND MEAT!

Enjoy you Rodney Plonkers

This week we go in depth about some seriously ridiculous conspiracy theories. Everything from football to music to government policy. We discuss it ALL. We also talked about favourite burgers. Intermittent updates of the Ireland score happen too. They won in the end so dont fret. Even if you could fret would you? Thats probably a podcast in itself. TV idea: Robert de Niro stars alongside Slash from Guns'n'Roses in Fret Level RED.

ENJOY IT!

This week we shake it up a little and replace Daniel Flood with Ross Oglesby and Adam Oglesby, cousins by name, brothers by nature. We discuss our nights out, what we want to see when we do go out and more importantly what we want to hear when we go out. Hope you all enjoy, keep on listening and keep on keeping on!

Rock'n'roll. Text me the word sheep if you read this. Doubt people even read it. People barely listen but I still love doing it. It's funny ever just think that someone could just say that podcast is decent and it'll fly off the shelves (as podcasts do) like that Talking Bollox podcast thats a good podcast made in Dublin. More episodes than The Office UK now. Enjoy!

Unlucky for some, but lucky for us. This week we're talking about the meaning of life after a mix up in texts from Dan. Ross joins us this week to mix up the already strange mixing bowl. Do we come to a conclusion? Tune in to find out. United were playing at the same time and they were losing but they went on to win. We also discuss potato varieties and our favourite and your favourites. I have no idea what I was saying this entire episode great stuff! Enjoy!

Daniel Flood remains a constant this week. Glad to be back. Episode 11 calls for a celebrity football XI. Am I right? We choose our starting lineups for a celebrity football match. From Tony the Tiger to Tom Hanks, we cover it all and hope you all enjoy it. Some serious jokes and some serious laughs. Enjoy!

In what is now the tenth weekly edition of the WIAA? podcast we just went for it. Its rare that people do this as they usually prefer to prepare for such big events as the tenth episode. We just winged it, and by god did it feel so liberating. Touching on new Irish music, podcasts, working weeks and even call backs from previous episodes. Great stuff it really isn't, but some people like it. Enjoy!

Back at it again with the Zoom chat. Daniel Flood rejoins me this week to talk through some phobias, both strange and ordinary. We also delve into a small bit of Spongebob trivia, Tahiti international football, witty anecdotes and Oxfam calling. People sent in their phobias and we tell you what we think of them. Bit of a giggle. Enjoy it my dudes.

P.S. Stick around to the end for a lovely surprise!

I am alone today again, the first time in a few weeks. I wasn't going to do one this week but sure may as well keep the streak going. I talk about the feeling of being Irish, Richard Boyd-Barrett, Winning Streak and some star spotting in a local Spar. Hopefully next week we get going again with a serious guest. It was a laugh while it lasted. I'm not so sure about these solo pods but sure it is what it is. Enjoy!

Another week, another crying shame that we can't be together. So ain't it lucky that we have zoom. Me, Ross and Dan tackle our friendship, a trip to London that was bitter sweet but brilliant and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It's been a long road as mates but we're finally giving you some serious laughs and gaffs and some insight into some brainy fellas. Some excellent recommendations from Ross too. Enjoy!

This week I am joined by my friend of 17 years, Daniel Flood. He grew very fast when he was young and is now one of the greatest minds to ever set foot in Kinsealy and the surrounding areas. We discuss childhood, music, SpaceX and strange recommendations. He'll continue to appear in future episodes if you'll allow it, well its my podcast, so all in all it'll be up to me. Enjoy it and follow me on Instagram @whatsitallabout!

This week is a special one. Celebrating his 50th birthday, I'm joined by my dad, Robbie Dowling, for a lovely reminisce about working in a slaughter house in Ballymun, to doing the leaving and generally just having a good laugh. I don't think we offended anyone or said anything too stupid. Enjoy it folks!

My ears are back to full health and I can hear everything. Even your discussion about the podcast. Recently I've had too much time on my hands and that has resulted in me consuming too much television during the day. I talk about Nothing to Declare and the Irish show Stop, Search, Seize. I also discuss the best show to ever air on television, Room to Improve and Normal People. Very ranty this week but it's all a learning curve. Enjoy!

Still no intro music this week definitely will come next week. This week I discuss the infamous Blackrock ad that circulated on Twitter during the week, I also delve deep into my recollection of my first trip to Old Trafford as a fourteen year-old boy. I was in bits this week leading up to it but glad I got this out for you guys. Keep yourselves going throughout what's coming in the next few weeks but try and stay positive. Enjoy it

P.S. Still haven't made an intro song yet but its on the way. Until then, enjoy.

The start of a new era of podcasting, the same again but different. Today I entered into something that I can't get out of now and slowly descended into insanity, later going on to list the brilliance of Wes Hoolahan and really not knowing what I was going to say. Things can only get better I certainly hope. Hope someone finds this somewhat enjoyable... so enjoy!!!!
