If you watched my last two videos you probably noticed I still had tons of packs left. I didn't have enough potions though. So I had to move things around a bit.
So here is the last of my packs! 1200. There is a bit of a lull in the middle but I definitely did pretty well overall I think.

Last time I messed up and didn't have enough potions. This was a little later and I just used what potions I had left.
So here is another 170 packs opening! Went really well! A couple Gold Foil Legendary!
If only they were all this successful. :D
I'll finish up the remaineder of the packs soon too.
I'm a little down on the future of Splinterlands lately.. but I still love the game and opening packs is fun!
May just keep buying more if I can figure out the funds.

Splinterlands market is crashing. I think this may actually be good for the game in the long run though. May make a separate blog post to explain this later.
In the meantime, thought I'd open some packs! I forgot how the potions worked and didn't buy enough to do all at once. Haha.

Last season I finished Diamond III but barely on the last day and I stopped playing. I didn't want to de-rank back to Gold I at the last second. This season I managed to get to Diamond III a few days early. I didn't want to just sit there for 3-4 days this time. So I took my chances. It went rather well. At one point I even hit 3108 rating! That is actually Diamond II if I had the collection power. Which I don't... and that'd be the highest rating I get anyway.
Still finished Diamond III. My previous season rewards were a bit meh. I haven't pulled a reward legendary in a couple months I think. Well... that finally changed! Much happier with this season's rewards though still nothing too spectacular, other than that one last card, which was a relief. There is always a point where you start wondering if what you're doing is worth it. And when you finally pull that legendary it is like... YES! Haha.

Yesterday I struggled in Gold I and made a video of it. Came up short of Diamond III and even lost rating. Gold I is definitely the toughest rank to get through IMO. Was last season as well. At least among the ranks I've grinded through. Never made it higher than Diamond III.
Today went quite a bit better but I forgot to record! I did remember when I opened my daily reward chests though. Not too bad really. Gold foil and a rare.
I kept playing some this time. Doing okay in Diamond III so far. Hope I don't jinx it. :D As of now I'm actually about 1/3 of the way to Diamond II. I don't have enough CP to go to that rank though so I'm not really striving for it. Would still be awesome to make it though!

Rough day in Gold I. Ended up with less rating than I bagan with.
The highlight would be beating the Llama Kron team put out by what was at the time the #15 Gold ranked player. So that felt pretty good!
There were a few I probably should have won. A couple I just couldn't decide and was running out of time so threw whatever out. And of course one or two I lost to RNG. :\
Rewards weren't super great but could be worse.
Starting to wonder if I'm going to be able to make it to Diamond III at all. My win rate has dropped big time this season. I know a lot of people seem to be having trouble with the new cards but for me it is the other way around. I have the new cards but I tend to lose to the old cards.

A little late on the upload of this but I managed to finish Diamond III this past season. By far the highest I have ever finished.
I was excited to see what 40 reward chests would be like. Could have been worse but also was not super great.
When I was doing it I totally didn't notice the one turned gold. So it is nice to see that. :)
No audio this time, hopefully I'll be able to fix that in the future.

Hello everyone! Kind of dropped my life savings on the presale. Originally planned to just hold all the packs until it sells out and try to get my money back once the price goes up. Which would make all the air drops profit and leave me with a cool title.
However! I just couldn't stand holding them. I also really want to play in higher ranks. So this seemed like a good way to boost my CP and get me some good cards.
In the end, I think I did okay. Probably on the lower end of average if the calculators and stuff I looked at are any indicator.
Another person I saw open 1000 got about $4000+ more value according to PeakMonsters. Feels bad man. :D
It was still a ton of fun and I did manage to get some good stuff. Not to mention 22+1 Doctor Blights!
Think I'm going to go through and sell all my gold foils now and use the profits to upgrade cards I plan to use.
