burnout is something we have all experienced it can manifest in physical, emotional and behavioural ways that slowly build over time until it all comes to a boiling point. Unfortunately, once this happens getting back into equilibrium is not always easy. Many think stress and burnout fall into the same category but they are not to be confused with one another.
Today on the podcast, I speak about burnout in a short introductory episode. Looking at symptoms, how mitigate the symptoms before its too far gone and some tools that have worked for me overtime.

This week on the podcast, I sit-down at 180 Strand with Photographer and Friend Dasza Wasiak and we talk about Nepotism and 'Nepo Babies' as it pertains to the Arts & Entertainment industry. We breakdown our thoughts since the onslaught of articles that have been written in recent weeks regarding Nepotism Kids responses to their easy come up into the industry and how we both have made our own paths within the photography industry. We also speak about the Instagram story posted by Vittoria Ceretti in where she writes about her own frustrations to make it, being faced with rejection and how she worked extremely hard and persevered to make a name for herself within the modelling industry.

Shashank Verma is a Photographer from Mumbai, India; currently pursuing MA Fashion Photographer at University of Arts London. Having worked for fashion magazines, advertising agencies and brands, his vision is admired by many. He’s been in the industry for the last 7 years and his journey has been an interesting one as an artist. He wishes to make work in and around fashion documentaries that can inspire many upcoming photographers and contribute to the community. He’s currently working on a project named ‘Kashi Vasi’ which translates to inhabitants of Varanasi. ‘Kashi Vasi’ is a documentary series that explores stories of fashion and cultural inheritance within the inhabitants of Varanasi. It intends to highlight the nature of ritual practices and historical beliefs of people, who adhere to their cultural inheritance and identify themselves as a part of the Indian diaspora.

Clara Wallis Sanz is a singer/songwriter based in London originally from the Canary Islands. She started singing at a young age and although she had written songs before, it was with her singing teacher Michaela that she wrote her first finished song. Interested in all aspects of art, she finished a Fine Arts Spanish Baccalaureate with a scholarship to study at university in Spain, in 2019. She then took a gap year studying, in the University: Instituto de Danza Alicia Alonso, in Madrid; in which she was enrolled in a Contemporary Dance degree. Finally, after postponing it, she moved to London to pursue her ideal career, songwriting. She completed an HNC in Music Performance at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and she is now currently in her second year doing a BA in Songwriting.
