THIS IS AN EXPERIMENTAL IDEA. At their last meeting, Kara, Will, and Vinnie decided to try launching a spinoff podcast of Let's Talk Canon Mac taking place at Starbucks before school starts. This is our first attempt at podcasting outside of the classroom. This is the only episode that will be featured on LTCM, and only for a limited time. In the new year, we will be creating a new podcast called "Coffee Club". We appreciate any feedback on this; let us know if you like the idea. Merry Christmas to all of you LTCM listeners!

In this episode we discussed how the VB team earned a trip to States beating Penn Trafford 3-1. We also had Breadon Greenleaf as a guest talking.
Maisner, Kara and William discuss 8th grade move up day and what it means for the new freshman starting next year. Some words of advice. We talk about the Playoff losses with Baseball and Volleyball. It was a tough week for sports but we are still proud and Volleyball gets another shot as they play next Tuesday against Penn Trafford to earn a spot at Hershey!
For the first time we stepped up our game and did a phone interview with CM Alumni Aaron Caldwell aka BUCK. He is a photo video master. Thanks Buck.
Special Guest Dom Obiecunas talks about the awesome year Baseball is having and William O'Bryan gets everyone up to speed on the record shattering year the Volleyball team is having. It was prom on Friday! hope everyone had fun and was safe.

This episode Kara and William join Maisner and have a great discussion about the fantastic sports teams. Baseball and Volleyball winning Section Titles! We discuss field trips to the Mattress Factory and Fallingwater. Maisner's Advanced Digital Media class won the NJM Insurance "Just Drive" PSA Contest. HUGE win and what a great accomplishment for all involved. We end the show with an ongoing discussion and reflection of this past school year.

- Two Canon-McMillan High School Students Placed at Annual Three Rivers German Day Competition
- Canon-McMillan High School's Mrs. Hartmann took 21 of her German students to the annual Three Rivers German Day Competition on Tuesday, March 14th at Washington and Jefferson College. Although it was a cold and snowy day, they had fun on the campus and represented Canon-McMillan well!
- Two of the students recited German poems, five students played on a team in the Culture Bowl German trivia game and 14 students entered their individual art projects in the following categories: arts and crafts, drawings, paintings, proverb posters and technology.

Two CM students won prizes this year: Jersie Africa in German II won 3rd prize for her drawing of a Swiss chalet. Cheyenne Patterson in German I won 3rd prize for her traditional German "Dirndl" dress (which she crocheted). They are all excited for next year's German Day!

- Hello everyone and thanks for joining us today. Today we are bringing you episode 5 of the “Let’s Talk Canon-Mac” Podcast. Last time we had a longer break between episodes. This time, due to some slight scheduling restraints with Thanksgiving coming up, we decided to bring you our first ever Thanksgiving Podcast episode a little earlier.
- So today, obviously we do have some news, however we also wanted to make this episode more of a relaxed episode with more of a dialogue between us rather than a generic script. So we are going to try this out and see where it goes. - Introduce the Episode Content: Today we will be discussing some middle school construction updates with a special guest, the recent passing of Canonsburg legend Manuel Pihakis, and some new CM National Letters Of Intent signees for athletics. Following these we will dive into some deeper topics with the recent coming and going of Veterans Day as well as a mini Thanksgiving topic.
Today we have a few things to discuss. We are going to kick it off with some staff birthday shoutouts. We then have some Santa Fund Information. Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up, as well. The Chill Room data for October is in. Then we will be moving into sports talk. Finally, towards the end, we will hear from some of our Architecture students about their recent field trip to the Fallingwater house in Laurel Highlands.
This episode we have the advisor to the E-Sports club at Canon-Mac, Mr. Klebanski and one of the original first students Sam Weir. We discussed everything from what is an E-Sports team and what does that club do. It was very interesting and informative. Please Enjoy and share the content.
