Since yesterday, Lucy Letby has become the most prolific child serial killer in modern British history. For more than a year, Lucy Letby, a nurse at the Countess of Chester Hospital, had murdered and attempted to murder newborns that were born prematurely under the radar of authorities. On August 18th her final verdicts were finally published.

A girl walked into the Montana police department and identified herself as Alicia Navarro - a girl that has been on police's missing persons list for 4 years. She spoke calmly and asked to be taken off the missing persons list so she could get a driver's license.

In less than a day of saying goodbye to their daughter while she went on a getaway trip to Cabo, Mexico, the Robinson family would get a call from the state telling them that their daughter, Shanquella, was pronounced dead at her resort villa. In 2016, it was announced that Estibaliz Carranza, known as the Ice-cream Killer, was being transferred from a female to an all-male prison. After killing both her spouses and freezing their bodies in the basement of her ice-cream parlour, she was deemed too dangerous to be ever let out because her psychiatrist was convinced she would do this again to someone else.

This is H. H. Holmes. Pharmacist and, America's 1st serial killer. What always frightens me is serial killers with extensive medical backgrounds, whether they work in a morgue, or are family doctors or nurses. It just makes it so much more chilling. H. H. Holmes is one of America's most notorious serial killers, along with Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer and Harold Shipman. He bought a vacant lot in the 1800s and turned it into a 3-story hotel with a basement. But what followed was not an influx of residents - not those that made it out alive.
