How do I gain the trust of my child and let them know that they are trusted? These are just a few ideas that may help guide you in doing just that. We cannot deny the reality of the presence of misery and "storms" in our lives. Sometimes they're bearable, sometimes they come crashing all too quickly into our lives that discouragement and doubt set in. How can I find value in this and teach my family to value it too and put it in its place. We can't perfectly escape misery, for that is the human experience. But we can find meaning in it... at least Christ did. We might as well do the same.

There's nothing more fulfilling then striving for these five ideals.

We know that the Eucharist is at the core of our faith, where we find true nourishment and grace. Without the Eucharist, our faith would be weak and empty. It is one of, if not, the greatest treasures of our faith. It is of infinite value. But how can I help my children and family see that? What can I do to help them see how beautiful, powerful, and necessary the Eucharist is in our lives? I invited Fr Jeremy Lambert to shed a bit of light, based on his own experience and studies. It's a tad longer than expected, but definitely worth it!!!

A huge call to conscience for parents is the honest and sincere answer to this question. We are beginning this journey to help one another build holy families and sharing different resources and discussion points to support one another on this adventure. But before we get started, there is one question we need to ask. "Do we know where we are headed as a family?" We can't build if we don't know what we're building... and we can't journey if we don't know where we're going. And we sure need to have it very clear and present in our family's life. Always.
