The Road to 2024 Podcast features weekly recaps of presidential race news, campaign strategy analysis, interviews, and deep dives into election topics. New episodes are released every Monday.
We finally made it! The Iowa Caucus is now behind us and we are on to the New Hampshire primary.
Robbie was fortunate enough to spend time on the ground in Iowa during the caucus through a trek sponsored by the University of Chicago Institute of Politics. We discuss Robbie's experience in Iowa, the results of the Caucus, and what is to come on the Road to 2024.

Road to 2024 is back! As Sam and Robbie are adjusting to first year of college, we have decided to introduce a new format for our podcast. We will be conducting interviews with political figures and leaders on campus to gain their perspective on the upcoming 2024 presidential election. In addition, we will be recording monthly recaps of the news surrounding the 2024 race at the end of each month.

This week on the Road to 2024, we take a brief step away from the world of Joe Biden, Donald Trump, and Ron DeSantis, and turn back the clock to recap the wild Presidential Election of 1800. The presidency of John Adams was riddled with scandal, allowing his Vice President and enemy Thomas Jefferson a good chance at taking the presidency. But Jefferson's party screws up resulting in our country's first electoral college tie with Vice Presidential candidate Aaron Burr. The race goes to the House of Representatives where the members decide the next President, but not without Revolutionary War hero and political veteran Alexander Hamilton having something to say about it.

What a spectacle!

Former President Donald Trump has been indicted again. This time by the federal government in his classified documents scandal. Sam and Robbie spend the first half of the episode discussing the details of indictment, the reaction by Trump's 2024 competitors, and the political fallout.
