Hello and welcome to Killing 15 Minutes where you get your true crime fix in 15 minutes or less or your podcast is free. I'm your writer Sam Rossi and shortly I'll be handing over a rough draft of a script to my brother AJ who hasn't read it, who most likely has no idea what we're talking about. This should be fun.
Carlos Eduardo Robledo Puch, also known as the Black Angel and the Angel of Death, was an Argentine serial killer. He was convicted of multiple murders, robberies, rapes, and kidnappings. Puch's criminal career started in 1968 when he stole a motorcycle, and he continued to commit crimes until his arrest in 1972. His trial took eight years, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment. Puch is currently the longest-serving prisoner in South American history.

In 1988, Michael Mickey and Trudy Thompson were gunned down outside their home in Bradbury, California. The case remained unsolved until 2001 when Michael Goodwin, Mickey's former business partner, was charged with the murders. Goodwin and his wife had bought gold and wired money to offshore accounts before leaving on their yacht. Goodwin was eventually found guilty and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences. The conversation also touches on murder by proxy, conspiracy to commit murder, and the importance of having a lawyer.

Michael Lee Lockhart was a convicted murderer who was executed in Texas. He was convicted for the murder of a police officer and two teenage girls. Lockhart's case was featured on Unsolved Mysteries. The conversation also touches on the challenges of finding interesting topics for true crime podcasts and the need to objectify the subject matter. The hosts discuss potential future episodes on famous serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy.

An all-point bulletin was issued for the Corvette and was soon spotted. A high-speed chase led to a crash leading to Lockhart's capture on March 22nd, 1988. Mary Ann Brittland killed 3 people and was excuted at Strangeways Prison in Manchester.
Sharp could be a serial killer, but officially, only abducted a mom and her daughters at knifepoint at a car wash. Seems like the ending first there, huh?
Karl Denke is a forgotten cannibal who murdered and ate people and he happened to own a general goods store that also sold pickled people.
Tale as old as time: A truck driver who killed prositutes... this time in Greece during the '90s.
How is this dude not an edy '90s anime already?! Ryuun Daimai was a murderer, rapist and an insane wandering ex-monk during the Taishō era of Japan.
Buhram Jamedar was a leader of the Thuggee cult active in Awadh in central India during the late 18th and early 19th century, and is often cited as one of the world's most prolific serial killers.
Wayne Boden was serial killer in Canada betweeen 1969 and 1971. Nicknamed the Vampire Rapist due to his biting of his victims breast.
Stephen Akinmurele was a British suspected serial killer who was charged with murdering five elderly people between 1995 and 1998.
It seems that AJ has an issue with Oregon serial killers. The rants are interesting at least.
Robert Shulman went postal in Hicksville, but hey, his brother helped him dump the bodies. That's real family right there.
Maudsley killed a potential john, got prison and then had three more murders within prison. He's the longest serving inmate in solitary confinement. Sam's attempt at a twist in the end.
The Honolulu Strangler, also known as The Honolulu Rapist, is the nickname given to an unidentified serial killer who is credited with killing five women in Hawaii from 1985 and 1986. Only the second serial killer in Hawaiian history (excluding the US badum tsh)
Timothy Wilson Spencer, also known as The Southside Strangler, was an American serial killer who committed three rapes and murders in Richmond, Virginia, and one in Arlington, Virginia, in the fall of 1987.

We interrupt your usual programming with a behind the scene talk to answer the major question we keep getting asked.
The first attempt as making a two-parter, Sam and AJ check out The Red Ripper, the Russian serial killer, Andrei Chikatilo.
(Yes I know he doesn't have a cool moniker but any time that happens we'll make our own... probably will change it.)
Once again, Sam and A.J. take a look over to Californian killers with Herbert Mullin, who killed 13 people in the early 1970s to 'prevent earthquakes'. I mean not the worst delusion we've heard so far.
Almost informative and criminally silly, we can guarantee it's under 15 minutes or less, or your podcast is free!
Unsolved murders are tough, but Sam and A.J. dive in again to a strangler that only seemed to strangle a couple of his victims. Also a nice discussion on how a problem with unsolved serial killings is essentially you don't really know if the murders are actually linked or just different people doing similar things. Trust me, that's a big one for later.
Almost informative and criminally silly, we can guarantee it's under 15 minutes or less, or your podcast is free!
Sam and A.J. discuss the Vampire of Sacramento and maybe about how it's a little weird how easy most serial killer cases boil down to "and the cops did nothing". But I mean he was only covered in COW'S blood so it was totally okay. Yes, this is Richard Chase, the Vampire of Sacramento, who was actively spree killing in 1977 (less serial killer and more sick puppy that escalated).
Almost informative and criminally silly, we can guarantee it's under 15 minutes or less, or your podcast is free!
In the inaugural episode (complete with growing pains), Sam and A.J. cover the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe, an English serial killeractive from 1975 to 1980. Almost informative and somewhat comical, we can guarantee it's under 15 minutes or less, or your podcast is free!
