In this episode, I read chapter 4 of the Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson and give my commentary on the process of coming into the Dream that God has put in our hearts. The segment talks explicitly about the harrowing journey many in the Remnant today have endured and the implications for living the God-Given Dream in this New Landscape.
In this episode, I talk about a couple of words the Lord gave me that give perspective to this summer and what we are walking into in the Fall. I also talk about the new landscape we are in and what it looks like for us to be reconfigured and repurposed for the landscape God has called us into as influencers, pioneers, and Manifest Sons and Daughters!
In this episode, I read chapter 3 of the Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson and follow up with my commentary. Sometimes, the biggest obstacles to our Big Dream come from those closest to us. Jesus warned his disciples that families would get divided over following Him (Matt 19:27). He was controversial. He promised them that they would get all that they lost back in this life and in the age to come eternal life. He didn't say what it would look like to get it all back, but He was worthy of their trust then--and ours today. In my commentary, I talk about what this often looks like in family and how we must wage the war vertically not horizontally if we want to see Heaven's result.
In this episode, I read chapter 2 of the Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson and follow up with commentary. I talk about the journey many people are on in the Remnant that God is raising up in this New Landscape and their struggle to identify and articulate the dream that is already inside them. In the turbulent seasons of life, many Dreamers have gotten derailed or beaten down by life's challenges in these last couple of years. In the end, I pray for all the Dreamers who are waking up to their Destiny.
In this episode, I talk about the fatherlessness epidemic that we see in our culture. I also share about an encounter with the Father that bridged many gaps in my life with the awareness that He was always there. Yet, not ironically, the enemy tried to pervert and hijack what God was doing in my awareness of His Presence, even as a child, by keeping me tethered to my deep sense of shame that was wrought in early abuse, abandonment, and rejection.
In this episode, I talk about the process that many in the Remnant, that God is raising up in this New Landscape, are experiencing as they find themselves in a season of reinvention. Many who have endured many trials, fiery cauldrons, loss, and disappointment are feeling discombobulated in the post-pandemic era. The enemy has fueled lawlessness and unrest and simultaneously God has used the circumstances to re-tool us and untether us from all that was familiar and safe in this past season. As the Remnant emerges battered and battle-worn, many feel stuck as they grapple with new Heavenly assignments that are outside of their comfort zones on steroids. These new assignments are reconfiguring our sense of purpose. Metaphorically, we are turning in our resignation papers from past assignments that are no longer relevant in this evolving landscape where all things are NEW. But, with our resignations, we are being commissioned into new arenas of life and work.
One challenge many Christians face in this post-pandemic era is connecting with their God-given dream. In the Grand Disorientation that took the planet by storm and the consequent turbulence in our culture, many Believers have felt "stuck" in moving forward in this New Landscape. Everything is changing, and we have become untethered from everything we know--everything familiar. In the Grand Reset that the Holy Spirit has been orchestrating in the earth, our canvases have been wiped clean, and we are ready to move into radically unfamiliar territory tethered to a person--Jesus--and not to a religious system. We are less married to outcomes and more married to a Person who we know has a bigger plan for this era, and somehow we know that we were made for "Such a Time as This," and this New Landscape holds much promise. In this series, I read through the chapters of the book "The Dream Giver" by Bruce Wilkinson and offer a brief commentary and prophetic perspective. I hope that many will connect again to the Dream that is already inside them.
