Accept your StrengthThis post is probably going to come out much later than I'm writing it, the process has taken about 13 hours for previous shorts, mayby because of a lack of nodes in my country to facilitate encoding, so I can't do anything about it. In a previous post I said that this hurdle might mean that I can't use the platform regularly, but that was mostly the frustration talking, I reckon it's better to have my Runes posted than not and the reception I've had in this community thus far is encouraging.
Today's Rune is about accepting our evolution, something that we're often shockingly incapable of doing, in great part because we're educated into always thinking of failure as a problem and expect the worst. This breaks us, dooming us to live a life of constant conflict with ourselves, because we're both afraid of falling and expecting to fall, there's little room there for peace, beauty or joy. Well, Berkano tells us that we've grown and that we can grow things around us, that we've been doing it since the get go and we've paid our prices for that growth. Might as well be aware of that and accept it, no matter what shape it takes.
Our identities are just stories, they can be changed at any time if we know them. Our past attires won't work for us in this new version of the world, so we've got to let them go, only then can we truly start taking advantage of our enhancements, because there are many of those. I invite you ask yourselves: Why struggle with doubt and anxiety when you could be honing your skills?
Rune of the Day: Berkano. Birth, Breakthrough, Emergence.The paradigm is changing, a new version of you is rising; put your past identities to rest, do not attempt to repress or control your evolution. The greatest blessings are hidden in the darkest places, explore the shadows to let go of pain and fear. You have reached a great milestone in your journey and made important discoveries; all the prices that you have paid have brought you to this moment, give in to it. The world perfectly reflects what you put out, thus resistance brings struggle and acceptance brings celerity. The teaching of the seed is that it contains the tree from root to fruit and the teaching of the tree is that is always present, the same applies to your thoughts, ponder over the trees that you are planting.

The Task of the HealerMy grandmother passed away exactly one year ago today, and this Rune you see here took quite a while to process because of that fact, the heavy overcast sky upon my city and the visions of the terrible catastrophe in Turkey and Syria. As I breathed Thanks to my inner work, I'm not shaken or pushed out of balance, but I allow myself the feelings arising from this conjunction of events.
Last year, when grandma died, I had to do a service for her and in the process freed myself to reach far deeper than I've ever gone before. Many things have happened since then and I'm a different Javier, but my purpose and service have only gained strength over time. Whenever I encounter even the tiniest whiff of pain, difficulty or anxiety within me, I know that I have work to do and it's something that I'm deeply passionate about, that brings me joy even as I cross through dark places.
I'll dedicate a part of my day to honoring grandma, the victims of this earthquake and the rest of the people experiencing anguish, sorrow, dread and helplessness elsewhere. I exhort you to pray, to contemplate those realities, to go into your memories and enter into your emotional landscapes. It will definitely bring you greater awareness and calm in this troubling situations.

Become the change!There's no denying that these times we're experiencing are hitting hard. The earthquake that devastated areas of Turkey and Syria is yet another development in an astonishingly all-encompassing process of change that involves us all. I've said in previous posts that these would be a year of revelations when the collapse of civilization, more or less symbolic in previous years, would take on a much more literal meaning. Here it is.
The Rune of the day advises us to shed all pride, to admit that the circumstances are well beyond our control and that we have to become something else in order to work through the chaos. There are so many things that we can and should leave behind: beliefs, ideas, opinions, even the sense of loyalty toward this or that group, this or that activity. We sure can try to resist, but it's going to make our lives pretty miserable, so we'd better be ready to kneel, to accept the fallibility of our judgment.
Not all is terrible, fortunately. This change, as cataclysmic as it may seem at all levels, brings us the unique opportunity to redeploy our talents, reconfigure our priorities and open our perspectives. We can integrate these challenges to find unity and collaboration. We can be better together or we can struggle as individuals, the choice remains with us!
Berkano inverted: Obstacle, Blind Spot, Ignorance.Resistance. There is a sensation that something is missing, that a piece has yet to fit into place and a wall is yet to fall. Your desire to take action appears to be blunted by circumstance; the tension may be resolved by looking inward instead of outward. Evolution has a price, acknowledge it and pay it willingly. In order for the butterfly to soar, the caterpillar must die and the chrysalis must be left behind. The whole world is shedding a skin, the transformation cannot be stopped, turning a blind eye will only leave you unprepared. Pride is not self-love, stubbornness is not certainty; accepting the difficulty is the first step in overcoming it. Knowledge graces the open mind as blessings descend upon the open heart.

Yes, you are!How many times have you questioned your path? How many times have you doubted yourself and the progress you've made in any given task? You're probably doing it at this very moment regarding any number of relationships, your job, your decisions at home and in public, etc.
Well, the Rune of the Day tells you that you should cut yourself some slack, reflect on what you've learned, the things that you've done, the challenges behind you, and you'll realize that you're doing a lot better than you tell yourself. It's especially important to remember this when other people and the environment itself seem to drag you down, because it can help you spot abuse or falsehood. Shut down connections that drain your energy and focus, seek inspiration in daily activities, it's ok to be responsible but you may be overdoing it, so observe the successes you've got and don't dedicate any more time or effort to tasks, contexts and individuals that don't bring you joy.

It's been a while since I posted my last video on 3Speak, but this community for shorts fits my regular Rune readings pretty well, since I've tried uploading both a Spanish and an English version in other social media platforms but with little success, probably because the algorithms are geared up for content in one single language.
My plan here is to upload these readings so I can later embed them in another post with a longer reflection, but these will have their own text as well. For those unfamiliar with my work, I've been doing this since I began creating content on Hive as part of my spiritual journey and service. Este domingo, la Montaña me recibió con agua. Subí con mi primo por el teleférico de Ávila Mágica y nos adentramos por un tiempo en la selva con la intención de llegar al Pico Occidental, pero tomamos un camino errado y la intensa neblina y la lluvia nos forzaron a devolvernos, así que nos dimos por satisfechos con la comida del lugar, menos cara de lo que esperaba y bastante sabrosa. Fue además la primera vez que oficialmente he comido fresas con crema, algo completamente absurdo en mi país pues las he tenido a mi alcance muchas veces.
Mientras conversaba con mi primo sobre temas importantes, observaba mi entorno y me maravillaba de la belleza del lugar. Era tan deliciosa la atmósfera y tan puro el aire que ni la lluvia ni el frío me molestaron en modo alguno, me sentí pleno. Tengo una relación muy profunda con el Ávila y he visto a las entidades que la gobiernan, Reinas de gran poder cuya presencia sentí en esta subida mucho más que en cualquier otra. El tema de conversación general fue nuestra relación con la energía femenina y el intercambio, además de valioso, era totalmente consistente con mi consciencia de la vibración maternal de la Montaña. Me sentí realmente sumergido en el misterio y la magia, abrazado y protegido.
Ya en el descenso, la blancura que nos rodeaba era tal que podríamos haber estado estáticos en el vacío, una sensación muy liberadora para mí, de entrega y calma. Todos en la cabina estábamos silenciosos y ésto contribuyó al hechizo del momento. Iba con un propósito en particular al Pico Occidental, así que pronto volveré a subir por mi cuenta a cumplir mi tarea, y también a disfrutar de este sitio bajo la luz del sol. This Sunday, the Mountain welcomed me with water. I went up with my cousin on Ávila Mágica's cable car and for a time we went into the jungle with the intention of reaching the Western Peak, but we took a wrong path and the intense mist and rain forced us to return, so we were happy to sample the food of the place, less expensive than I expected and pretty tasty. It was also the first time that I've officially eaten strawberries with cream, something completely absurd in my country because I've had them within my reach many times.
As I talked with my cousin about important topics, I observed my surroundings and marveled at the beauty of the place. So delicious was the atmosphere and so pure the air that neither the rain nor the cold bothered me in any way, I felt full. I have a profound relationship with the Ávila and I've seen the entities who rule upon it, Queens of great power whose presence I felt in this visit much more than in any other. The general topic of conversation was our relationship with the female energy and the exchange was both valuable and totally consistent with my awareness of the maternal vibration of the Mountain. I felt truly immersed in the mystery and the magic, held and protected.
As we descended, the whiteness that surrounded us was such that we might as well have been inert in the void, a very liberating sensation for me, of surrender and calm. Everyone in the cabin was silent and this contributed to the spell of the moment. I had a particular purpose to go to the Western Peak, so I'll soon visit again on my own to fulfill my task, and also to enjoy this place under the sunlight. I leave you with today's Rune reading:
Othala, the Heritage, Death, the Exhumation, the Root The hidden nature of things is revealed and can be denied no longer. We all have our ulterior motives, our unconscious compulsions and our subterranean passages to explore. In this simple video, I share a bit about my Service, how I do it and why, so that more people may know the nature of what I do. Thanks to this platform, I've been able to dedicate my entire time to this work and that's given me enormous freedom of action and movement which I've used to gradually improve the quality and depth of the service itself. Long ago I realized that fulfilling one's mission was enough to secure tranquility and abundance, and recently thanks to my mystical studies, I've been developing this into a more substantial and basic way of life, because I now see this labor as a way to preserve the order of the world and to praise the beauty of all Creation.
Today's Rune is Eihwaz and the message is a bit paradoxical, because it speaks at first about resting and surrendering to the Divine Will, but then calls upon us to fortify our stances, refuse impositions and observe instructions precisely. I feel that the exhortation is to remain alert but also to let things work their own magic, recognizing both the advantages and the disadvantages of the environment in order to approach them in calm and also use them to our benefit. This information has been around since I resumed my readings in January: the times are hard but there's lots of opportunities rising and we have to keep our cool to deal with the noise and also grasp the chance. It's a tricky balance, but I'm living proof that it's totally doable.

Español Hoy fue un día genial. Lo pasé tomando un paseo con un amigo, visitamos el Jardín Botánico y tomamos muchas fotos maravillosas de árboles, flores e incluso algunas aves, que podrás ver al final de este artículo. Nuestro objetivo era ver el estado de florecimiento de la Palma de Ceylán, que se completará en unos tres o cuatro meses, pero toda la experiencia fue estupenda. El día estuvo hermoso y fresco, y mi agradecimiento sólo iba en ascenso.
Luego nos fuimos a la Universidad Central de Venezuela, un Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO que se había arruinado por décadas pero que ahora está siendo revitalizado por completo. Me sentí muy privilegiado de poder ver el cambio que se ha estado manifestando en este espacio tan bienamado y en parte de allí saqué la inspiración para el tema del que hablo en esta publicación. El mundo está experimentando grandes tumultos y el ruido incrementa su volumen, pero no es necesario que vivamos conectados con esta energía siempre, podemos elegir una visión más amable sustentada en las posibilidades. Probablemente todos podemos ver y sentir en cierta medida que las cosas no están bien, estar al tanto de eso es importante; pero existe otra información a considerar, otras perspectivas más nobles que nos pueden ayudar mucho a aprovechar este tiempo para el crecimiento y el aprendizaje. Hay maravillas ocurriendo en este mundo, no sólo desgracias, creo que eso es algo que debemos tener presente siempre.
English Today was awesome. I spent it taking a walk with a friend, we visited the Botanical Gardens and took a lot of wonderful pictures of trees, flowers and even a few birds, some of which you may see at the end of this post. Our goal was to review the degree of the flowering of the Ceylon Palm Tree, which will be completed in about three or four months, but the entire experience was stupendous. The day was beautiful and fresh, and my gratitude only kept increasing.
After that we went to the Central University of Venezuela, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that had fallen into severe disrepair in the past few decades but which is now being fully revitalized. I felt quite privileged to have been able to see the change that has been manifesting in such a beloved space and I draw my inspiration for the topic of this publication partly from there. Even if you don't understand Spanish or know the University, I encourage you to watch the video just so you can enjoy the images.
The world is experiencing great tumults and the noise increases in volume, but it's not necessary for us to live connected with that energy all the time, we can choose a kinder vision sustained on possibilities. We can all probably see and feel to a certain extent that things aren't going well, being aware of that is important; but there's other information to consider, other nobler perspectives that may greatly help us harness this period for growth and and learning. There are wonders happening in this world, not just disgrace, I think that's something that we must always keep in mind.

Be brief, synthetize your message, distill your thoughts and sublimate your ideas. Those who do not question their beliefs develop fanatical attitudes that are very hard to dismantle; put your loyalties to the test and vindicate your faith. The most intimate traditions must be shared, utter once more the secret formulas and convey the truth, for the lie is exceedingly costly. Speak with articulation, coherence and compassion if you seek to silence the stridency and the impiety.

Today's Rune is Jera, the same that I pulled on Monday, and the message continues. Deliverance from burdens can only be accomplished through renunciation, and sometimes this process isn't pretty or peaceful, sometimes in order to develop unity we must first set some things asunder. Like the sculptor reveals his artwork by chipping away pieces of stone from the larger slab, so too our routines, the patterns that we repeat, shape our experience. It's also a message of reviewing the past in order to get a clear view of what's going on and also an idea of what might happen.
Find ways to increase your freedom, don't hesitate to hold your ground in the face of abuse and don't give your energy to activities, connections or places that you don't feel connected to. Use your skills for something worthwhile, dedicate your time and vibration to a task that gives you pleasure and fulfillment. We're already the tip of the iceberg of the conflicts that we'll experience this year and we have no control over that, so it's best to focus on community, creation and possibility.

I'm working on a way to start posting these videos in a single language with subtitles, but it'll take some time for me to adjust because I usually record, edit and post the same day and subtitling demands quite a bit more work. For now, I thought it'd be a good idea to simply use the video in Spanish and share the essence of the message in English, accompanied by the transcript of the Rune Reading as I've done in previous posts.
Today's message is about how we can deal with the news that we're consuming. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine will only get worse and be compounded by many other crises around the world, so we have to start thinking of ways to keep our cool and avoid frustration and guilt, very common in times of turmoil. It's true that most of us can't do anything to help Ukranians or the Russians protesting right now, nor for any other people suffering at the moment, safe with our prayers and energy (which are a lot more useful than most think,) but it's also true that we have a lot of ways to keep ourselves well, to build beautiful things and fulfill our service and, believe it or not, this is enough, because if we're well, if we feel like we're doing our job, then we're keeping our house in order and our mental health; in so doing, we're making sure that we don't become another load, another channel or noise to feed the storm.
Go out, make something new, meet new people, walk, breathe, sculpt, paint, write, do what you feel passionate about, keep your vibration high and filter the information that you're consuming. If you want to directly and positively impact the lives of people in need, go ahead and become a volunteer for the many institutions that clothe, feed and care for other human beings who are unable to fend for themselves. Although the eyes of the world are on Eastern Europe right now, there are millions who still require assistance and many of them might be your neighbors.
Also, remember that sometimes it's not about actively helping, but about not being a nuisance. In many if not most situations, trying to be useful may very well end up causing the opposite. So let's focus on being good and in balance on our own, instead of unloading our troubles on others. I leave you with these words. Hoy se cumplen 28 años de la partida física de mi madre y me siento bendecido, porque ella siempre está conmigo. Logré dejar ir el dolor hace años gracias a mi trabajo espiritual y eso me ha traído gran paz. Disfruto el momento presente tanto como puedo, y lo hago reconociendo lo que he dejado atrás y también los retos que los tiempos que estamos atravesando. Today marks the 28th anniversary of my mother's passing and I feel blessed, for she always stands with me. I managed to let the pain go years ago thanks to my spiritual work and that's brought me great peace. I enjoy my present moment as much as I can, and I do that by acknowledging what I've left behind and also recognizing the challenges of the times we're going through. This is my message for you today: letting go is hard but indispensable for change and growth, and we absolutely need to adapt to how things are flowing around us, or else we'll always be uncomfortable, in pain.

Russia's officially in Ukraine now and everyone wonders what's next. Sadly, I don't have good news for you, it's just going to get worse from now on and some nations will feel it more than others. However, we do have a choice: we can engage in the conflict and, through our own rage, continue to foster misunderstanding and violence; or we can encourage the growth and building of new things, the pursuit of honest passions. There's a lot more people in this world willing to evolve and learn, to listen and cooperate, than there are troublemakers and oppressors.
Today's Rune is Algiz inverted and the message is that of inevitable exposure in the current context. Material concerns can no longer be our focus, we have to seek out something deeper, the truth that beating in our chests. We must also find ways to accept the difficulties we're seeing and to integrate varied visions.

Siento que el proceso más difícil de estos meses ha culminado finalmente y ahora estoy entrando en otra vibración mucho más amable y expansiva. Estas semanas siguen siendo bastante retadoras para mí. El luto por la partida física de mi abuela y el trabajo de recuperación del malestar que nos ha aquejado en casa han sido profundamente demandantes y no he podido conseguir la motivación para sentarme a grabar o escribir nada, así que tan solo me he permitido ser y sentir sin buscar sacarme de este estado. Mi cumpleaños pasó sin celebración y aún no me siento en condiciones de encontrarme con otras personas o unirme a ninguna actividad fuera de casa. Es parte también de mi modo de aproximarme a fuertes crisis emocionales, me centro en lo que tengo que procesar y dejo que todo lo demás siga su curso sin mí.

My personal process has been tough these past few days. After my grandmother's physical passing, I've been ill and mostly taking the time to rest and reflect. My birthday is almost here and the planetary coherences for my natal chart on that day are quite astonishing, so I have no doubt that this whole period of challenges has been but part of a profound transformation that I embrace with joy. In this video, I wanted to share this feeling with all of you, because I know that these times are difficult for everyone: don't attempt to deny what's happening, accept it and evolve. Believe what your senses report, what your spirit perceives, what your heart says; only through this belief will you be able to overcome the troubles and integrate the lessons you require to grow.

Luego de la partida física de mi abuela me ha tocado pasar por otro proceso intenso a nivel físico, con una gripe que puede o no estar asociada al COVID pero que, por fortuna, no ha sido tan grave. Personalmente, a pesar de que este período ha sido muy intenso, profundo y fuerte, me siento cada vez más inspirado y motivado, porque siento que estoy en una transformación importante. My grandmother finally passed away yesterday after much toil. She was surrounded by people who love her and the feeling of her departure, at least for my sisters and me, is that of relief. I spent months connecting with her and increased both the rhythm and the intensity considerably in the past few days. Although I experienced moments of grief, pain and fear, I always finished each meditation and prayer with a sense of calm and understanding, and gained important revelations about my process at a much larger scale. Now my service for her is done and I'm a new man thanks to that.
As I promised, this is an anthology of the Runes that I've pulled this year for the English community. As you'll surely realize, all of these Runes together form a narrative and describe the flow of events not just in our personal lives but also in the world at large. I also share a bit about the teachings that I've integrated regarding Death, which have given me great peace and enabled me to help my grandmother in her passing.

El mensaje de hoy es claro: comienza el proceso duro de desastre, pérdida y dolor. Lo que estamos viendo y lo que veremos en las próximas semanas y meses, es inexorable y lo ignoramos sólo a nuestro riesgo. Yo continúo mi proceso personal, mantengo el servicio que debo hacer por mi abuela y, a la vez, me estoy conectando con mayor fuerza al proceso mundial. El llamado es a darle voz a nuestro Corazón, recibir abiertamente lo que nos toca y dejar ir voluntariamente lo que ya no nos sirve. En medio de la vorágine no es posible sostenernos a nada pues todo está en movimiento también.

Hey, people! I've been uploading videos for the first time in my life, offering my Rune Readings and perspectives and insights on various topics, as I used to do in text last year. It's been an awesome experience, but I've been lagging on my English content, so this is my first video en English. I tried to upload it through my phone, by 3Speak froze twice beyond recovery on Chrome and I lost my text both times, so I decided not to chance a third. Sadly, due to the lighting in my room and the fact that I was using the front camera, the quality is quite subpar, but I hope that's not an impediment for you to listen to my words. l strive to make increasingly better recordings in coming days, I just didn't want all of what I'd already said go to waste.
In this video, I talk a bit about the messages that I've been getting about how this year will be, and also the challenges that I've personally had to deal with. The calling for us as a species is to find ways to work together, to understand each other and grow, because the hardships ahead are beyond counting and this very year will make that point mercilessly clear. We need to be ready, we have to train, to face our fears, to use our tools, for the world is changing lightning-fast and the transformations will only get more intense.
