Sonic the Hedgehog 3[a] is a 1994 platform game developed and published by Sega for the Genesis. Like previous Sonic games, players traverse side-scrolling levels while collecting rings and defeating enemies. They control Sonic and Tails, who attempt to retrieve the Chaos Emeralds to stop the evil Doctor Robotnik from relaunching his space station, the Death Egg, after it crash-lands on a mysterious floating island. Sonic 3 introduces Knuckles the Echidna, the island guardian, who lays traps for Sonic and Tails.

Duke Nukem 64 is the Nintendo 64 port of the first-person shooter MS-DOS/PC game Duke Nukem 3D.
The Nintendo 64 port features significant changes from the PC version, including modified and expanded levels and a different set of weapons. The port also includes a four-player deathmatch mode and a two-player co-op mode via split-screen. The game's mature themes have been minimized to satisfy Nintendo's adult content standards.

Captain America and the Avengers is a beat 'em-up arcade game developed and released by Data East in 1991. It features the Avengers team of Marvel Comics characters in a side-scrolling brawling and shooting adventure to defeat the evil Red Skull. The game received ports for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy, and Game Gear. A different Data East game was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
