Kirron starts us off with a word on how we can only see through our current perspective based on our past experiences and current beliefs. So, if we want to change, we kind of have to start looking for different things, that arn’t quite within your reach, but still trust that you’re looking in the right direction. So relating it to basketball, as we usually do, you have to imagine what you want to see or be free in terms of trusting that the new patterns you’re trying to see will work… or something like that… just listen. Then Atem calls Kirron to elaborate on it. Keep Searching.

Etymology is pretty cool. It’s the study of the origin of words. If you’re interested go do some googling of the etymology of random words.
If you’ve been around Logan Basketball or NBL1 Basketball at all, you’ve probably seen him around; guiding, teaching, leading by example, fathering, mentoring, and motivating all while having fun at the same time. If you’ve been around Ben, you’ve been infected by his energy and show of constant Love for the people around him. But the main reason I felt the need to invite Ben to the podcast was his display of leadership as a Father. Ben is a father of 6 and has never shown any signs anything other than being a father that is truly present for his little ones, and it is quite admirable. So, we asked him to come on the podcast, with his 2 sons, JJ and Tyrone, who have grown into fine young men paving their own paths. This episode is for those who can relate to Fatherhood, Family, and Love… enjoy. And to Ben, thank you for coming on and sharing your experiences and your journey in hopes that it helps somebody out there. We are truly grateful @thesearcherspodcast, Thank you 🙏🏿

Kirron shares some thoughts and explores how important it is to go through your daily routine with appreciation for the little things. He says that sometimes we get so accustomed to our daily circumstances that we forget that we have control over our own reality. We control what we see. We have the ability to choose where we put our focus. And with that information, it’s our responsibility, or in our best interest to assess what we choose to look at in our lives, and then make the necessary changes based on that information. Are you focused on the good, and the beauty in life? Or are you paralysed by your negative thoughts and circumstances. Please feel free to share your thoughts, and if you have something in mind you would like to share with The Searchers, make a simple recording on your phone, and reach out to @thesearcherspodcast on facebook or instagram to have your voice shared also. Thnak you and hope this was valuable to you all.. enjoy.

Ranko finally joins the anchor phone call part of the podcast and this was cool. Talk about linkedIn, not appreciating your accomplishments, and coaching basketball.
Really cool convo here that can change someone’s life in a real way. Talking about the concept of ‘being’ what you want to be, because you already are that. You already have it. You’re already enough. So you actually have to actually start acting and feeling and moving like the type of person that would have what you want to have.
