Bronti is a racer our of Canada. She currently races with the EMRA and drives down to race with CMRA on occasion. In fact, I met her several years ago at Chuckwalla when she would come down to race with CVMA in the winter time. She hasn't had the easiest time racing the last couple of years with injuries and such, but she's got a new Yamaha YZF-R7, and has her eyes set on the World WCR series. This is the FIM Woman's Word Circuit Racing world championship series. For reference, MotoAmerica regular Mal Dobbs is competing in this series this year. This one should be fun. He's mostly known by is "Coop Deville" nickname he sorta goes buy, but stoked to have a chat with him. Coop runs a Colorado based trackay org called Legion Moto. He's recently taken a step further down the rabbit hole of our sport and formed a race series. Legion SBK Series is a regional travel racing series. Talkin' Motorbikes with Freddy from SBU. Freddy is that super buff dude you've probably seen at the track, or watched his videos. He's the owner of Superbike Unlimited, an online retailer that sells all sorts cool products. I've been buying lightened rear rotors along with several other items from him over the years. Freddy's a supporter of a ton of club level and pro level racers, and most recently has worked with some rather large superbike teams. Now he's also working on a superbike project for a build that could compete in MotoAmerica superbike. We'll talk about all those things and more. New TMB series called "Weekend Hangover" where TMB host Dustin Coyner, and "Ricky" Bobby Leavitt discuss the past weekend's races. This past weekend was the season opener of World SBK. Talkin' Motorbikes with the the legendary rider Toni Elias. I talked to him about his storied career as a professional rider. The dude raced at the end of the 2-stroke era, 125 and 250GP. He raced in MotoGP as well, including winning a race in in the era that Rossi dominated. He also later won the inaugural Moto2 world championship. He did race a few more years in MotoGP before racing Superbikes in America. He recently retired for the 2nd time (the first at the end of 2020). I've known Frankie since he was a teenager. He's raced all sorts of things from feirce 600's, Setting long standing lap records on a Twins Cup bike, to being a complete goon on a SuperHooligans bike, and most recently he's one of those lunatics on a bagger. Richard and I discussed at length the recent team testing at Buttonwillow. He showed a bunch of props of things the team has tested, talked a little about the swingarm, and the adjustable pivot stuff he's been doing. We talked about Testing the R6 in prep for Daytona, and progress made in the tests on the superbike. Then the show got really technical, Richard discussing the MotoSpec software a but, sharing a bit of data from the test before and after this new chassis stuff, and of course we chatted a little about the Westby fire. Interesting chat with Team Hammer boss Chris Ulrich... The guy's family owns the team currently known as Team Vision Wheels Suzuki in MotoAmerica. They run supersport and superbike, along with supporting a bunch of teams with equipment and technical support. Chris was also a racer, and we talk a little about his history, and transitioning from racer to team boss. Finally we spent a bit of time talking about the RoadRacing World Action fund which helps supply airfence all over the country.

What an interesting character Andy DiBrino is. The quentesential privateer racer dude entering events in multiple disciplines knowing he's competitive in all of them. Talked with Richard Stanboli of AttackYamaha about the team's recent test at Buttonwillow Raceway. First ride on the superbikes in 2023 for the team's riders Jake Gagne and Cameron Peterson. During this test, he talks about different swingarms the riders tested, a hand brake setup, and carrying on with the nuetral lock-out shift drum. This was pretty informative for sure, and I hope you all appreciate the level of access he's willing to provide.

Nice chat with my long time friend and industry pro Chip Spalding. Chip is an interesting character in the sport as he has had his hands in a lot of areas of the sport. Through this discussion I learned that he's not only working for Champ School, he's also a partner in it. Pretty amazing really. He's got insite on the sport down to the macro level as he's involved in the industry more than most people. anyway, I had fun talking with him, and hope you enjoy.

This was the first time I had a club racer on. Ty Bengford is a really good dude. We talked about his racing experiences, dabbling in the nationals, comparing them, etc.. We also touched on a lot of little things that a lot of riders don't think about. This was the first of hopefully many with club racers.. hope you enjoy.

Super fun chat with long time friend Melissa Paris. Meli is a riot for sure. We talked about her racer history which included things like World SS wild card round, club racing, testing Cal Crutchlow's MotoGP bike etc.. We also talked about her transitioin from racer to team owner, and a little bit about her she's worked with along with who her current team riders are. Great chat with Chuck Giachetto. We spoke about a bunch of topics, MotoAmerica superbike counsel, rules for 2023 and his teams plans. What they're doing to catch the machine which is AttackYamaha. We also chatted a bit about his R7 project for the MotoAmerica Twins Cup class. this one was over 2 hours, and it went by like 20 minutes.

Wow, super fun chat with arguably the most badass privateer racer in the country, Stefano Mesa. This dude drives the truck, camps at the track, changes his own tires, and lays smack down to lots of people in multple classes per weekend. Not only all of that, but behind all of that stuff, he's just a solid human being. Someone you'd totally want to hang out with all the time if you could. We talked about all sorts of things last night, and possibly came up with a new T-shirt idea -LOL Enjoy.
