In this episode, my mom, Sandy, returns to delve into another challenging topic: caregiving for the elderly. Her insights are rooted in her unique upbringing, having lived in a household with her aging grandparents, as well as in her experience of caring for her own parents over more than a decade, all while juggling the roles of a wife and mother of two children.
We explore questions like: How can we best support caregivers? Is it possible to make mistakes while providing full-time care to someone? And what lessons did she learn from her a dedication to something greater than herself?

Welcome to another episode of Little Miss! This week my roommates and I are diving into the world of language and persuasion as we explore 'Cultish' by Amanda Montell.
Are cults on a spectrum? What is the difference between a cult and a religion? Can something truly be “cultish?”
In this podcast we dissect Montell's eye-opening exploration of how cult-like language and tactics are woven into the fabric of everyday life. Drawing on infamous group/mass deaths like Jonestown and Heaven's Gate to the dark side of fraternities and multilevel marketing, we unravel the secrets behind the power of words and the influence they hold over us all.
Whether you're a language enthusiast or simply curious about the hidden forces that shape our decisions, 'Cultish' offers a fresh perspective that will leave you critical of the language all around you.

This one is for the girls! On this episode of Little Miss we challenge the dress code double standard for men and women but also for little girls and boys. We all start out as kids who feel equal but when was the moment for you as a young girl that you realized you couldn’t do the same things your male friends could anymore without shame or consequences?
Among other topics we also address the sexualization of children which often results in even well intentioned parents passing the guilt and correction onto their daughters instead of the adults responsible. And finally as women we reflect on the first moment we felt insecure of our appearance and then the way our self image has changed and progressed through our life milestones, relationships and experiences.

On this week of Little Miss the girls and I take a minute (or 90) to dive into the world of romantic cliches and popular sayings and thus explore their place in modern relationships. Join us as we examine familiar phrases like "plenty of fish in the sea" and "nice guys finish last" to understand how they shape our perception of love and affect the way men and women pursue romantic relationships, for good or for bad.
Whether you're a believer in these popular expressions or skeptical of their influence, if you’re here for the girls or here for the boys, this episode promises to provoke thought and your own discussion with friends.
On this episode the girls and I breakdown and discuss our favorite and most known conspiracy theories- from Walt Disney’s frozen body to the death of Princess Diana.
You’ll hear our thoughts on the classics like celebrity doppelgängers and Area 51 but also some niche theories like Taylor Swift’s alleged hit and run and lizard people infiltrating our government.
