Mighty Hero Homes exist to eradicate veteran homelessness by providing affordable, permanent homes to all homeless veterans in safe environments with a full array of on-Base amenities and wraparound services. Homeless to Home Ownership is the objective for each Base resident.

The “why” part is harder to delineate but to us, exponentially more important. When ordinary people exercise obsessive obedience in pursuit of their purpose, the unattainable becomes reality. The Mighty Hero Homes family seeks to glorify God, by using the gifts and talents He’s provided to accomplish the mission of ending veteran homelessness in the United States.

Our Commitment

As such, The Mighty Hero Homes Foundation will recruit and empower local businesses, churches, and other civic organizations to sponsor each Base resident.

In addition, the Foundation will support each veteran, alongside robust community gifts, as they move into their new home and throughout their tenure as Base residents, as needed. Video game professional Paul Tozour announces the release of his new book, The Four Swords: A Parable of Leadership, Video Games, and Dead Dragons. The book is scheduled for release early this summer and tells the story of four hardworking game developers that struggle with leadership issues and toxic work culture in their careers.
All four main characters experience different struggles based on the studios and positions they work in. Through their journey, they learn how the core responsibility of leadership is to build culture based on values that drive positive outcomes. Their perspectives are interesting for any reader that has experienced toxic or negligent leadership.
Paul wrote the book because no other material described how the industry truly worked, especially from the standpoint of values, culture, and illustrating how those impact organizational outcomes. Since he entered the field in 1994, Paul has seen studios crumble from the lack of understanding of culture and values, which is why he based The Four Swords on key principles that steer a company to success. His 28 years of experience offer useful lessons for future generations looking for the same change he is.
The Four Swords will also be distributed as an audiobook once it’s released. Paul wanted to distinguish the listening experience from other books, and selected nearly 40 voice actors to play his book’s characters. Each actor has a distinct voice and accent, making them instantly recognizable. Paul functions as the main narrator, but redundant narration has been minimized to leave the book feeling more like an audio play. To create a more immersive experience, Paul added music and sound effects, including introductory music to indicate setting. Overall, Paul hopes that the book can illuminate the bigger problem frequently occurring in the video game world.
“I want The Four Swords to instantly give new or veteran game professionals an added level of understanding to the problems faced in game development. I want my book to be a direct source to help debug and diagnose the problems employees are experiencing, that often stem from the management. By drawing parallels to repetitive outcomes in the real world, The Four Swords is an easy method to comprehend why values and culture in the workplace really matter,” said Paul Tozour, author of The Four Swords.

What is a Food Forest?
A food forest is a diverse, perennial garden that mimics a forest ecosystem and patterns found
in nature. Through layers of design, life extends in all directions producing food, medicine,
sanctuary, and habitat. Food forests incorporate 7 layers of edible plants including fruit and nut
trees, shrubs, herbs, vines, rhizomes, mushrooms, and perennial vegetables.
A food forest is thoughtfully designed to produce
maximum nutrition, beauty and abundance.
How much space do I need?
Not much! We designed a food forest on just 700 square feet in Orlando, FL and it’s loaded with over 40 food and medicine producing plants. Through the layers of a food forest and a thoughtful design, more can be yielded in the same square footage of space than an annual garden.
How long does it take to get food?
Many perennial plants can take between 2 and 5 years from seed to begin providing a yield…and keep providing a yield FOREVER! However, we also plant annual vegetables for your short-term food supply.
What is the process?
After your order is placed, your Certified Permaculture Designer will reach out to schedule a consultation where they will begin gathering basic information about the project and dig deeper to connect with your overall dream and vision.
Using satellite imagery, contour maps, and soil surveys along with other tools to assess your property, your Designer will create a comprehensive plan for your yard to provide joy and abundance for generations to come.
Do you provide installation services?
Yes. We work within our network of local food forest installers, in locations all across the USA and internationally, to ensure your designed food forest is installed professionally to the highest standards. If you are in a remote area, or an area that we do not yet serve, we will do our best to travel to you.

In May 2019, with the ADPI team, Eric founded ADPI H.E.L.P.S. (Helping Everyone Live Post-Stress), which is a PTSD support and personal/professional development group for veterans.
Eric’s personal mission statement is to “educate, empower and to help people grow”. Through his trials in the military, he has clarity that anything is possible if you THINK it is. Mind over matter.
Eric recently completed a ½ Ironman race in 2022 (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run)
Short term goal achieved: raised $190,000 for Veterans Community Project while hiking 170 miles around Lake Tahoe
Longterm goal: donate $1M annually, end veteran homelessness this decade
