Originally hailing from Cape Town, Matt has since made Dublin his home and is the driving force behind Evolve Sounds, an online mix collective, podcast & occasional club night dedicated to showcasing the best in deep, progressive, melodic & uplifting electronic music.

It was the future sounds of the UK (FSUK) album mixed by Derek Dalarge released in 1997 which changed my musical life (thanks Toby) luring me into electronic music, particularly for all things nu-skool & progressive breaks at the time.

From there I began my stoke for similar sounds with local artists and worked my way to hosting a prime time night radio show on UCT Radio followed by Mutha FM as DoubleOne thereafter Digital Project, launching ListenupSA Podcast & further developing my own unique sound and style.

Evolve Sounds is my next chapter - showcasing the best in deep, progressive, melodic & uplifting electronic music.
