One of the biggest things I learned moving from a traditional medical practice to a more "alternative" medical practice, is that it takes a tribe to keep us health. I have had so many individuals in the health and wellness industry who have influenced me both with my health and my business. This series is meant to highlight these types of people.

Join Dr. Wagner and Heather Herdman as they discuss herbalism, botanicals and why true medicine starts with plants. Heather's story is both fascinating and impressive. She started as a nurse and then nurse practitioner, and found her way into herbal medicine when she did a three year dissertation on Native American medicine. Heather has never stopped studying since and is a true master of herbal and botanical medicine. Heather has a store front where she sells natural products, herbal medicines and teas, and offers consultations for more complicated conditions. Check her website out here: sweetwillowwellness.com
I'm Dr. Lynn Wagner, welcome to "It Takes A Village". One of the biggest things I learned moving from a traditional medical practice to a more "alternative" medical practice, is that it takes a tribe to keep us health. I have had so many individuals in the health and wellness industry who have influenced me both with my health and my business. This series is meant to highlight these types of people.
Rena is a former finance professional turned integrative health coach and therapeutic massage therapist. After searching for her "perfect" life and never quite feeling like she fit in with the crowd, a health crisis that depleted her energy, and joy changed her life. After 20 years in corporate America, she changed directions and rewrote her story, focusing on finding balance that she did not have before, through nourishing her body physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Over time, Rena found joy in practicing self-care and her body was able to heal as she improved her digestion and chronic constipation, eliminated vertigo and heart palpitations, cleared brain fog and constant head pain, regained energy, and restored my deep sleep patterns. And now, she helps people in all stages of life meet their health goals, reduce their pain, manage their stress, mobilize their joints, and calm the overactive brain by teaching them to approach life by forming a new relationship with their body.
