What is a Small Business Development Center? One of those little-known resources for the small business community. We exist to help you start, grow, and fund your business. We are here for all stages of your business life cycle. And guess what? There is no cost for our services. How does that happen, you wonder? Thanks to the U.S. Small Business Administration and, in our case, Cleveland State Community College, we are able to provide business advising, training and connections to area resources to the small business community. So join us as we work to help entrepreneurs succeed!
During these most challenging times you, as a business owner, need to be thinking about the goals of your business. Where do you want it to go? Do you want to sell or pass down to family? Does the business have value today? Take a listen to our 10 points and see where you are. Reach out to your local Small Business Development Center or us here at the Tennessee Small Business Development Center for next steps. We can be reached at clscc@tsbdc.org.
What do you mean I need a business plan? I can't possibly write a business plan.
Um, yes, you can!
I'll take you through the one-page pitch or business model canvas. This will give you the framework of a business plan. Sometimes you just need to take small bites out of the business plan elephant. You can do it and we will help you get this done.
Who are we? We are the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Cleveland State Community College. Our center is here to help small businesses get things done -- things like business plans. Let us help you! If you still need some assistance after you have heard this podcast episode, head over to our website at www.tsbdc.org/clscc and request free business advising. We will help you through this!
In the meantime, you can do a Google search for a template for a business model canvas or a one-page business pitch to get started.
We believe in you!
Now go forth and conduct business,
Jennie
