We can not be right with God with faith only, we have to apply deeds.
James makes it clear the character of God dealing with our trials. Additionally, James makes us aware of the source of our sin; therefore, there is no room for excuses. In his conclusion, James gives us the secret to pure religion, which is the will of God. What a word from the Lord - Fine dining at the table of Jesus Christ.
Correction: There are five chapters in the book of James.
In the midst of our trials, attitude plays a major role. How we view our situation matters and James gives us the formula to succeed. James does not cut corners, he is blunt and to the point.

James, the oldest brother of Jesus Christ, writes to the believers scattered within the nations to encourage them in troubles. James speaks of how to live the Christian life. The book of proverbs for the New Testament.
Paul charges Timothy to preach the word of God regardless of what is going on. Paul confidence, in God’s faithfulness, goes beyond this natural world. In the face a death, Paul holds on to his belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We start here gleaning from the second letter Paul wrote to Timothy. This is his last letter. Nero was ready to kill Paul. Paul wants Paul to stay strong in the faith and steadfast in endurance.
Paul teaches Timothy concerning the church congregation- how to handle/deal with each group.
God is sending us back to the principal things of church life. 1 Timothy teaches thing that are rarely spoke of in the church today. Why? The church has left her first love and she is following after fables and old wive’s tails. The church has allowed systematic error to creep in, just as Jude told us would happen.
Let us return to the principal thing and glean the word of God.

Paul teaches what is required to be a leader, in the church. You cannot live as you please and lead the people of God. Paul breaks down 15 qualifications to be an Overseer and deacon. Also, Paul addresses how the men and women, in the congregation, should carry themselves. Let us learn the word of God and apply it to our live that we may live in holiness before God.

We, as a group, just finish the book of Amos and learned about the judgement of God upon the nations for their sin. Also, we gathered that we, in 2022, are being judged by God. The next step in the reformation of His people, the Lord has taken us back to the foundation. Taken us back to our first love-where is began. Can we look at this as a “reset” of the church? By going back to the principal things, it could be a reset for those who have lost their way. But most importantly, it is a firm foundation for those who are new to the faith. This, we will learn how we are to conduct ourselves in the church as leaders and followers. Paul charges Timothy to silence false teachers in the church at Ephesus. Timothy is urged to use the gifts stirred up in him by the elders and stand his ground for the truth of the gospel. Timothy is young; however, God has given him what is required to do the task.
Amos had several visions concerning God’s judgement of his people, Israel. As Amos began to see each vision, it was pressed upon him to ask for mercy - the rewards seemed to be too harsh. At first, God changed His mind; however, the sins of the people were too many for forgiveness.
God wanted the people to seek him and live, but they did not; thus, judgement was upon them.
God spared a remnant - those faithful few.

The reasons for God’s harsh judgement of Israel is broken down. We can relate most of the reasons to the world we live in today, 2022. God is angry with his chosen people and just want them to repent, seek Him and live. Be blessed by the Word of God.
The sins of Israel are broken down for a better Israel broke the Mosaic Covenant; therefore, they were no longer walking in agreement with God. Judgement was upon Israel, the whole nation, especially for their sin against the poor. Let listen for what we can apply to our liv s today. We are the righteousness of God. What we have here is the judgement pronounced on the seven surrounding nations and Israel. Amos proclaims God’s wrath and the sin that caused it. We will find out the who, what, where, why, and possibly the when in the book of Amos. This is not an exhausted study, it is a synopsis; however, we find many “stand out” points that we need to put in our arsenal. Be blessed by the word of God.

Also, Paul gives a bit of his testimony, which tells us his state of mind prior to meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus. After meeting Jesus, all those prideful attributes and possessions are worthless .
Having an intimate relationship with Jesus is Paul’s greatest desire and he encourages the saints to follow his lead.

Joy in serving Christ in unity and imitating Christ’s humility are the main points gathered in Philippians chapter 2.
Paul brings out how Jesus humbled himself, to death on the cross, for you and me. We are told to have the same mindset - just like Christ Jesus.
After His death on the cross, God honored Jesus by making His name above every name.
Paul encourages the believers at the church of Philippi to hold on to the word until the day of Christ’s return.

Today, I have read for you one of my dreams, exactly how I wrote it down when I woke up this morning. Yes, I said this morning - I had this dream 5/5/22.
First, I am rambling a bit, but I give you some of my background information so you can interpret the dream for me - hit me up in the comments.
While I was writing the dream down, it was pressed upon me to read it on the podcast and allow you to interpret. I rarely tell my dreams, especially when it deals so directly with my battle, so I’m excited to share with you today, granted, I believe the Holy Spirit told me to share. There are a few things in the dream that I need some enlightenment, but for the most part, it is very clear.
Listen, I had to repent for the things I did in this dream. But honey, make no mistake, I would do it in the natural as well - and have to repent again.😩
Yes, I’m in a horrible battle, but so are you, if you confess Jesus Christ your Lord and savior- perhaps your affliction has not come yet. Scripture tells us, MANY are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers them out of them all.
So, show the devil he can not control you by leaving a comment or sending me a message on social media with the interpretation of this dream. That is all I’m asking you to do-God is taking care of me.

Romans Chapter 8 is a relevant scripture in this day and time. There is affliction, calamity, famine, peril (danger), etc. all around us. The scripture speaks to our heart and soul. Read the entire chapter to gain strength in the midst of your struggle or in the midst of your prosperity. This episode concludes the series on forgives. We have learned that there is only on sin that has no forgiveness and that is speaking evil against/ towards the Holy Spirit, which I am happy to call my friend.
Also, we have to forgive, if we want God to forgive our sins- we all sin. It can be a hard saying, to forgive, but we have help in the natural and the spiritual realms.
Forgiveness frees us from the hold the offender has on our life. It also wards off sickness on our body.

Unforgiveness causes ailments in our bodies. Research has proven sickness such as cancer can be prevalent due to forgiveness issues.
Everyone has been hurt or mistreated by someone else; therefore, we all have to make a discussion to forgive or not to forgive.
Today, form a foundation to forgive through scripture. We discuss the only sin that you will NEVER receive forgiveness. Also, how we must forgive, when we pray.
Unforgiveness and bitterness are wide open doors of access that the enemy uses to gain entry into your life. Close the door and forbid Satan that access.
Deliverance from the powers of darkness is a process. I share some of the tools that helped me in overcoming a blatant attack of the powers of darkness. I am in the 4th or 5th year of my test and I have learned a lot. I am finally getting to a point where I can stand boldly testify concerning my journey. The Bible states in Rev. 12:11 “ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony… I’m sure, my complete testimony will introduce my ultimate deliverance from the powers of darkness.
This is the last episode discussing depression and the church. We talked about the tools God has given us to fight depression, which is a wile of the devil. We must use our tools every day and remember, depression is as real as cancer. Also, please note that my excitement raises the tone and pitch of my voice. 😊
