- When you look at the social engineering attacks that target our people, they are targeting what are called these cognitive biases.
- When you get funding, just take your time. You're going to feel very rushed to hit those numbers, take your time and be strategic about your decisions and about your movement. It's all too easy to want to just jump and to move too quickly. When you do, you make mistakes that you might not make otherwise.
- I know a lot of people omit their executives from the security awareness training. I see it still to this day, and I think it's a terrible idea.

- We're tying identity to the ability of data access. So essentially anytime anyone opens a file across an organization, you know exactly who, what, when that's happening, in the same way that you already are doing that with your networks and your devices.
- Because of, obviously the pandemic, there was a massive, mandatory shift for everyone to go remote and for remote workers to all of a sudden, be enabled across the workforce. So as a result of that, there was a massive 400 plus spike in data breaches.
- I don't know how to do a startup, but you know, I want to. So step one was actually I found a mentor.

As part of my passion for technology and cyber i have always been intrigued to learn how companies start, and what motivated the founders to start their journey. Cyber Inspiration podcast dives into the minds of CTO and CEO when they started they cyber security company, and what happened in their technical life or personal life that causes them to start the company. The podcast will cover social, technical and business aspects as well. This show is affiliated with https://www.security-architecture.org/ podcast! My goal is to meet interesting people in cyber security, help my listeners to learn more about the people that created great companies and maybe help the listeners to start their own journey as well.
