Are you robed in the righteousness of Christ? This week Pastor Mike lays out three point from the first 14 verses of Matthew 22, commonly know as, "The Parable of the Wedding Feast".
1) Judgement (v.1-7)
God is sovereign and is at work in the World.
God offers and invitation to Israel and they reject it.
In His grace and loving kindness God appeals to Israel a second time and is rejected again.
2) Gospel (v.8-10)
Worthy - God's love overcomes our unworthiness. Israel was deemed unworthy because they rejected God's love and invitation.
So the Gospel call goes out and God extends His invitation to the World.
3) Warning (v.11-14)
Some will find themselves in the presents of the King and be found faithless. They will have associated with the Bride of Christ, but had not put on the wedding garment.
When that day comes for you, will you be found robed in the righteousness of Christ?
