Your first and ultimate connection is with God! Only God can determine if you are connected or disconnected. It is important to know when to follow and when not to follow because we are not perfect humans. A person who really loves you as their follower would tell you to have your very own relationship with God so that he can instruct and guide you even during the times he has assigned you to follow someone. If you have your own relationship with God, God will lead and instruct you. He will tell you when to follow, when to connect and when to disconnect. All connections should be God ordained! Obeying God's commandment to you personally which can look contradicting to man's order is not disconnection. Obedience is connection. Choose God's commandment over man's commandment. If God give you a personal command, then stay connected and be obedient. What man calls disconnection is sometime just disconnection from man and not God. Give me you God and everything else can wait!

God will not call you to a place that he has not prepared for you and prepared you for! What you are experiencing is preparing you or was preparing you. Remain in good cheer because God is an over comer of the world.

Do not give up. Rise. Do it again. Begin again and keep at it. Resume again. It is important to handle each trial and assignment correctly. It was never said to be easy.
