We have developed a new series of podcasts that explores and discusses the latest in integrative medicines. Join us every month as we interview medical doctors, nurse practitioners, naturopaths, and other healthcare professionals and ask them about their own experiences and opinions regarding a range of topics.
Dr. Lombard is currently in private practice where his primary focus is on integrative medical approaches for ALS and other rare neurodegenerative diseases. He returned to practice after acting as the chief scientific officer and co-founder of Genomind, a genetic testing company focused on psychiatry. He is the author of several critically-acclaimed books, including his most recent publication Mind of God, Neuroscience, Faith and the Search for the Soul, which explored the intersection of spirituality and science. Dr. Lombard is also the author of several landmark studies, including the initial observation that subtypes of autism were mitochondrial based, which has been substantiated in subsequent studies. Dr. Lombard completed his neurology residency in 1995 and is the former chief of neurology at Westchester Square Medical Center and Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

Dr. Zwickey is the dean of research and graduate studies at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), director of Helfgott Research Institute, and professor of immunology. In 2003, Dr. Zwickey launched the Helfgott Research Institute at NUNM, where she applies her immunology expertise to natural medicine. Dr. Martínez specializes in regenerative medicine, optimal aging, and cell therapy. He earned his medical degree at The Ponce School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in Clinical Lipidology. Dr. Martinez also holds a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. He is Co-Founder of the Clinical Peptide Society, a US based professional organization aimed at educating physicians and advancing the use of peptide therapeutics. Along with other colleagues, Dr. Martinez developed the world’s first Peptide Certification Program.
