The four daughters of Calvin and Audrey Dorau along with their sister-in-law got together to talk about times gone by. For this first episode that includes gatherings at Big Grandma's (Lucy Jones) and Lucy's daughter, their grandmother, Margaret Jones...or as they called her...Cute Grandma.
They talked about Sunday nights at Cute Grandma's, Saturday nights at Big Grandma's and all the characters who would find themselves wondering in and out of their childhoods.

Our parents, grandparents and great grandparents did an amazing job of creating memories for our generation and connecting us to life and lifestyle that seems hard to imagine these days.

Welcome to a conversation with Violette Iverson (Jones) age 98. Violette is my Great Aunt and she sat down on Zoom with me to discuss family and history. We learned her grandfather fought in the Civil War and her mother wrote poetry...after milking cows, butchering chickens and managing a household filled with kids and other assorted family members.
