In a financial career that spanned 20+ years, Busola has worked in retail banking investment banking and investment management institutions. Until 2019 she was the CFO of State Street global market EMEA, within this institution she also held four board positions. Busola is now focused on social entrepreneurship, she has been active in a digital space developing tech products for young adults and youths.
Busola is also currently a commissioner for the Church of England, serves as a trustee for the scout Association and as a non-executive director for the energy ombudsman services.
Working in Investment Management through the social unrest following the tragic murder of George Floyd. Esther and Travis discuss how this period has lead to a resource group being created in their firm to support Black employees.

Previously a Scientist, Badr started two businesses within the energy and solar sectors. However, he wanted to understand how financial decisions were made and how capital was allocated.
Moving from Portfolio Management to Distribution within Investment Management, Badr now focuses Sovereign Wealth Funds, Central Banks and Supranational Organisations. As a respected entrepreneur, he shares the peaks and troughs of his journey whilst handing out gems for the listeners!
