The Psych Out: Recent Episodes

J.R.

Hey my name is J.R. and I am taking you with me on my search for answers when it comes to Mental Health. Mental Health needs to be talked about in a new way. A fun, hopeful, and practical way! I never thought I would share the things that go through my mind on a daily basis but what has helped me the most is when I hear someone else describe the feelings that I am feeling. I have worked in the entertainment industry for over 15 years and you will hear not only my story but stories from very well known people. Remember you are not alone in the way you feel or your struggles with Mental Health. We are in this together..and we can survive and thrive!

J.R. talks about when people without anxiety tell you to "Just Breathe" when you're having an attack. This can be very annoying but is there a way to make this work for you? J.R. took his first trip with his girlfriend's kids and he talks about learning to be a role model not a parent in their lives.
