The Brendan Swan Podcast is a broad lifestyle podcast that explores and celebrates arts and culture through any artistic medium, but particularly among movies, television, and literature. Our aim is in the promotion of good ideas, to encourage civility in conversation and conduct, to listen to one another and talk openly, to offer hope, to provoke thought, to reduce the complexity of the world around us and to decrease polarization while enjoying important and meaningful conversations.
Continuing our series into some hidden gem movies from the last decade, Brendan and Mike cover three more films in this episode: The Gentleman, Ladybird and The Judge. They also discuss a variety of other topics along the way including the new Spiderman movie Across the Spiderverse, ChatGPT, writing and as always... storytelling.
After a long absence from behind the microphone, Brendan and Mike sit down to celebrate some amazing movies that don't seem to have gotten the press that they deserve. Some got awards, some feature A-List actors, but in the end art is meant to be viewed--and these movies deserve to be seen and enjoyed.
