In this episode, you'll hear the testimony story from Grace Harang, a believer I met while travelling last summer to Sitka, AK.
In my meeting with Grace, we talk about her year-long World Race mission trip that took her to Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Eswatini. She shares about her initial conversion, how He called her to serve on a gap year mission trip, and how He used the mission to transform her thinking in ways she didn't expect, but was forever blessed by. Grace also shares about how God equipped her to face opposition from the enemy, how she witnessed immediate physical healings in believers that resulted from prayers of faith, how our overall lives should be seen as a mission, and how He ultimately gives us our identities in Christ.
I know you'll be blessed and encouraged by Grace's faith, her wit and humor, her enthusiasm, and most of all her godly wisdom and insight.
In my meeting with Kevin, we talked about how our seasons of walking with the Lord don’t always go in a linear path. We talked about how our testimonies here on Earth can have eternal significance far beyond what we could imagine. We talked about how God uses specific methods of encouragement for nearly every believer – discussing that as we unpack a really rich verse found in Deuteronomy 7:17-24. Lastly we talked about how our pre-conceived expectations sometimes get in the way, and how God always has infinitely more possible solutions to a challenge than we ever see.
My conversation itself with Kevin was a source of refreshment and encouragement to me, and I know that you will find the same as you listen.
Rob Keller, former High School Pastor of FCC Brea, talks about growing up in SoCal. We talk about his early calling to serve as a youth pastor. We talk about his passion for investing into full-time work in High School ministries. And we talk about his family's relocation to Texas, and how he experienced God's presence and leading all throughout that process.
