  • The Klan was back in the news in Pensacola. Turns out, one of the leaders of civic society in the city for 50 years was their leader.

Excellent reporting on the issue by The Pensacola News Journal's Jim Little here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here

  • Marie Callender’s blow up turned into a glow up after ’Sharon,’ a Facebook commenter, lambasted the company on social media because she burned a pie. Jo takes a look at how Marie Callenders weathered the storm with grace and what you can do the next time some cranky person dogs your business on social media - as well as how to prepare for it in the future.
  • Peloton has had some rough ground to cover lately, but their PR team needs to be commended for making the best out of a bad situation… repeatedly. Seriously, we hope they are getting enough sleep - because they have been through it. Jo and Christopher talk about the methods and theory behind their crisis response and what they did to make the best of a bad situation.
  • Plus we’ll talk Pantone color of the year and give a shout out to an awesome business with a TON of potential for merch.
