The day to day life of a single mom can be quite entertaining. I share the good, bad and the unknown.
It's truly unfortunate when the care in healthcare is missing. If you don't want to work with the public, that's a CHOICE (in the US, anyway). If you are not a people person, then do not choose a job that deals with people. Is this too much to ask for? It shouldn't be... especially when people's lives are on the line.
I was referred to a surgeon who turned out to be someone who I will never work with. She and her staff need to learn how to treat people. No matter how great she may be, she will not be working on me. I share this experience, as well as a lesson that came to mind earlier today. Can you relate?
It's easy to view the world from our limited lenses, however, people don't need more opinions. In some situations, people need more grace.

The life of a single mom is full of adventure and it definitely has its ups and downs. Life can be like that for anyone, however, with little ones in the picture, it adds to the adventure. As a Type A whose life used to be immersed with structure, the addition of my daughter has me mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially going here, there and everywhere.
Follow along for the ride which will take you up, down, and all around! I’ll also be interviewing other single moms who have a story or two to share. Let's laugh, cry and woosah together.
The saying goes, "The struggle is real" and how true that is! Self worth is extremely important- especially for single mothers. Single mothers get such a bad rap in the United States. There are so many stereotypes that surround the 'title' and many of them are very derogatory. The importance of self worth is instrumental because it can have a direct impact on one's decision-making abilities. Thus, the child(ren) is affected, as well.
Are you a pancake lover? Even if you aren’t, this wonderful restaurant has options that will please you. They have items besides pancakes but they’re known for their all-you-can-eat pancakes that you make yourself- right at your table side griddle.
Do you love hibachi or teppanyaki? I sure do! If you’re ever in the state of Florida, you must look up Kobe Japanese Steakhouse! Their food, service and décor are worth the trip and definitely will have you come back- just like we did. Vegan? Vegetarian? Either way, they can accommodate your needs. Just let them know.
