We discuss how some 450 million people worldwide currently suffer from some form of mental disease or brain condition, but almost half the countries in the world have no explicit mental health policy and nearly a third have no program for coping with the rising tide of brain-related disabilities. 41% have no mental health policy, 25% have no legislation on mental health, 28% have no separate budget for mental health, 41% do not have treatment facilities for severe mental disorders in primary healthcare.

After a long 2 week break, I am back with the final episode of season 3. In this episode, I host Kibuuka Lincorn, he tells his story of how his life changed when he lost his mother to cancer. Instead of giving up and quitting he picked himself up and decided to carry on his mom’s legacy as a chef. Listen in to hear this emotional but motivational story of this young man.
On this episode, I host Pr. Fredrick Kaddu Kibuuka, who is a father to more than fifty-eight girls. Some of these girls are abandoned, abused and orphans without any family members. Pr. Fred has legally adopted seven of these girls and fifty-one of them are fostered. He talks about the challenges and struggles that they face at the girls' home.
