In today’s solo episode, I wanted to discuss pregnancy and body image during that time. It’s a topic that I think is important to bring up to help women feel more confident in their own skin as they experience change.
Talking Points:
01:20 Thoughts
06:50 Comments
12:06 Fears
18:04 Action
Thoughts
It’s good to know that you don’t have to love being pregnant, and you aren’t alone if you don’t. Everyone has different experiences and that’s okay. The best gift is at the end anyway. Your body is going to go through changes, so it’s important to try to stop negative thoughts and be proud of the fact that you are growing a small being inside of you.
Comments
People may comment on your bodily changes during pregnancy, so whether it’s well intended or not, it’s best to dismiss these comments. You are in control of your thoughts, so don’t fester on it and move on. Also, don’t worry about what people may be thinking. Own it! This is your journey. Make sure to do things that make you feel happy in your own pregnancy body.
Fears
A big fear that can creep up is not losing the weight after the baby arrives, which generally comes from comments we hear from others. Although your body isn’t going to be the same (because you grew a baby!) it doesn’t mean you don’t have control over what happens after birth. It’s mindset and putting in work if you want to make changes.
Action
It’s best to choose action over anxiety during pregnancy. Do your best to take care of your body by continuing to move and eat good, healthy foods. Not treating yourself well is only cause more anxiety, so take action. You’ll feel good when you know you are in control of your habits.

In today’s solo episode, I talk about careers, why you don’t need to feel guilty about not liking what you’re currently doing, and why you shouldn’t be scared to make changes to find more fulfillment and joy. In today’s solo episode, I talk about my beginnings with coaching and how, no matter your circumstances, you can chase multiple things if that’s what you want. There’s a big misconception about working full time and sticking to that and that alone. I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to be so limited. Description: On today’s solo episode, I talk about ways to look ahead, set goals and really make positive changes in the New Year. Change takes work, dedication, and even can be scary, but I help break down some ways to make it easier to follow through with your changes for you to live the life you want to live.
Talking Points:
01:15 Change
06:26 Meaning
12:21 Asset
26:46 Goals
31:40 Action
Change
It’s great to want things to change, coming up with goals and things you want to accomplish is great. The thing is, change takes work. It’s more than just saying you are going to do it or only doing the bare minimum to ignite that change. It’s putting in some true, hard work to make it happen.
Meaning
Attaching meaning to your past is an important step in making changes for the future. You have to work through the hard and complicated things that you’ve been ignoring or deflecting. These things are going to hold you back if you attach meaning to them and let them go. Become better, not bitter.
Asset
Your vision of your future is the greatest asset you have. You need to get clear on where you want to go. It’s easy to point out what you don’t want, but what is it that you do want? Don’t get lost in the present and not prepare for your future. Take time for yourself to focus on who you want to become and your purpose.
Goals
A big thing to truly make this year different is to commit to your goals and not the process. A lot of times people give up on goals if the process isn’t working. If something isn’t working, change your process, but don’t stop aiming for your goal.
Action
One very important thing to note for change, is that your new life will cost you your old life. You have to act. You have to do something different instead of just thinking about it. Wondering and waiting won’t get you anywhere, actions are everything.

Warning: Fired Up Episode!!!
In this episode, I break down 4 Components of Winning that I learned from a book I recently finished by Tim Grover called "WINNING" -- it is an EXCELLENT read. I have linked it here for you!
We can prepare, plan, organize, create vision boards and map things out, but at some point, you have to take that jump into the unkown, let fear flow thorugh you, and believe with total confidence that you will succeed! If you're worried about the "fear of failure" - you need to move right through it. It's the only way to make progress! There will always be failures (lots of them) on your way to winning.
So many people will say things like "this is my year!", yet they have no real plans or execution suggesting this year will be more successful than the last.
I hope these concepts inspire you as much as they inspired me!

"Most people are skeptical of nontraditional careers because society has taught us to look for jobs, not opportunity."
In this episode, I dive into if it's possible to be successful in direct sales in 2022 + 2023.
I break down many of the myths:
"You have to have a big following."
"It's a pyramind scheme." (those are illegal, for the record)
"You have to be salesy & push it on family and friends."
And I also go into the facts:
Direct Selling can offer you infrastructure that other types of businesses cannot - this creates a very low barrier to entry/low risk to start
Direct Selling can meet the needs of a lot of different individuals and circumstances.
And what has been especially true for me -- a direct sales business will help you learn many different business skills that will help you in all areas of your life. There really is no better training for someone looking to develop multiple skill sets, such as the following: Time management, Organization, Presentation skills, Speaking skills.
I also break down a few different types of online businesses and pros + cons of each.
I hope you enjoy this episode!

Calling all SAHM's who feel a tug to pursue an ambition of your own... this episode is for you!
I've worked with many SAHM's in my last 8 years of mentoring high performing women. In this episode, I break down the specific feelings these SAHM's often have: they want to pursue a passion, they love being a SAHM AND they have an ambition of their own they'd like to carry out, they want to create more options for their family and likewise, more financial flexibility as well.
This particular group of SAHM's also has some common fears... "But I always said I solely wanted to be a SAHM... now I feel like that's changing; is that okay?"
And, these particular SAHM's that start something of their own also have specific QUALITIES that make them successful -- listen in to hear what these specific qualities are.
Share this with a SAHM who may resonate!

Some of us are caught up in a super regimented, robotic way of life, and I actually belive it is hurting many of us.
Yes, habits and routines are AWESOME! Trust me, I live and breathe for habit formation and doing things repeatedly that help improve our lives. AND... you gotta come up for air and see the bigger picture. Otherwise, you live the same day over and over again, with no outlook on where you're headed, and you may not even be enjoying the process OR where it's taking you. What's the point of that?!
I believe in creating more MARGIN in our lives and living in a way that feels good, not allocating every single minute of every day because "that's just how busy I am!" No thanks!
In this episode, I talk through how to work backwards from your bigger picture goal, how to think differently, and what to be cautious of as you begin to make these changes!

"Women Are Burned Out And Want To Quit Their Jobs"
These are headlines in recent news articles around women in the workforce. In this episode, I dive into WHY??? Why are women feeling burned out, stressed out, and unfulfilled?
The interesting thing? This isn't just about changing jobs for better pay elsewhere - it's actively wanting to leave careers that don't feel aligned anymore.
In this episode, I share specific reasons this is happening AND a special opportunity for you to make a change in a way that feels good for YOU. A step in the right direction and a positive change when you KNOW there is more for you in life!

What an honor to interview author & speaker, Alan Stein Jr., about one of my FAVORITE topics -- high performance.
Alan's new book, Sustain Your Game, had a meaningful impact on me when I read it earlier this summer, and I was thrilled to have this conversation with him to really dive in. Applying concepts from this book helped me BREAK MY PLATEAU and unlock the next version of myself. You can grab your copy of the book here.
We discuss the importance of FOUCS in a world that is more distracted than ever, how to overcome stagnation and complacency, the imporantance of being a CONSISTENT leader, and how to pivot and prevail to make a long term, lasting impact in your life.
This conversation is for high performers like me who want to learn practical strategies and action steps to sustain your own game!
Alan believes that each of us will always be under contstruction, a work in progress, and constantly evolving. The goal is to be moving toward our highest potential, toward making a meaningful contribution, and toward becoming the best version of ourselves.

In this episode, I interview Dr. Sasha Shillcutt, and we dive into how to set boundaries and WHY they are so important.
In Dr. Sasha's new book, Brave Boundaries, she discusses how saying YES to every ask, to every need, to every responsibility, and to everyone, caused her to reach her breaking point. Externally, she was successful: An anesthesiologist. Wife. Mother. Tenured professor. Sister. Friend. The “yes woman” to anything and everything. But it wasn’t enough; it was never enough.
Exhausted, overcommitted, and empty, she decided, out of necessity, to radically change her approach to everyday life.
We chat about why it can be hard to say No to others (especially as women). We discuss the problem with being the "Yes Mom", and how to set boundaries in both your personal life and your professional life.
I think you'll find this episode very liberating, freeing, and inspiring!

I believe there are seasons for rest and seasons for hustle.
You have to slow down to go fast, and rest + recovery goes hand in hand with being a high performer. Knowing when to be intentional about flipping the switch is important!
I also believe that there are seasons/moments that require rolling up our sleeves and getting the hard work accomplished. These are the seasons that can be uncomfortable, but they're also the ones that set us up for growth.
The yin and the yang of rest & hustle.

Have you ever felt like the activites you're dedicating your time to don't match your interests or your sense of purpose? Or, that you're giving more than you're getting?
3 out of 4 Americans have reported feeling burned out and 70% of American workers aren't passionate about their jobs.
When we dedicate so much time and energy with low passion, it causes exhaustion, disengagement, and productivity suffers.
I have experienced burnout a few different times and in this episode, I break down 5 strategies that helped me overcome it and make a breakthrough on the other side.
The best part about burnout (if you do something about it) is that it can lead to breakthrough - it has for me, and I know it can for you too! There can actually be something really good on the other side of the burnout.

I realized I wanted slow mornings... to drink my coffee (hot!) without pouring it into a to-go cup and rushing out the door. I wanted to have slow mornings and I waned to live them now, not just when I was 65 and gray haired! (oops I already have some gray hair, LOL! but that's besides the fact)
We can't fool ourselves into thinking that what we're doing now is creating the future that we really want if we aren't "baking in" the values that are really important to us NOW! When I was living my 9-5 corporate job, I neglected many of these values. Somedays I still do!
We need to align now with the future we really want. You don't have to save your dreams for later! You have to bake them into your life now.
This episode was inspired by a new book I'm reading called Anti Time Management by Richie Norton. It is validating and getting me into a new way of thinking all at once. Pre order it here (it releases in August)!

Have you felt a tug to start a business or grow your current business, but you’re not sure how to use social media? Maybe you feel nervous about potential judgement from others, worry what others will think about what you are sharing, or maybe you just simply don’t know what you’d share about!
This episode is for you!
Social media can be a powerful tool to elevate your skill set and what you are passionate about. It creates reach and scalability that we just wouldn’t have otherwise.
I started to realize this as I built my business and noticed people from all over the United States were trickling in, because of the consistent sharing I was doing on my social media.
I had to let go of the fear of being judged — if something is a core value to you, then it really shouldn’t matter what others think. We are our own biggest critics, and most people are actually very supportive. And remember- it’s OK if your content isn’t for everyone!
I found that creating over just scrolling and consuming actually felt very good! I began to use my social media with purpose + intention vs. just time wasting or numbing out.
At the end of the episode, I also share an example of a 7 Day Posting Strategy that you could use as a new business owner.

Have you ever felt like you were sacrificing your values for your career? In this episode, I chat with Life & Business coach, Ana McRae, about how she shifted from a burned out consultant to living a more fulfilled life that was more aligned with her values.
Ana was settling based on what society told her she shuld do.
Similar to me, she refused to buy into the narrative that your job/business is meant to be boring or stressful! Our work is meant to energize us & give us life.
The prestigious position she had secured as a corporate business consultant was everything she “should” want in a career…But she was miserable, and so desperately unfulfilled.
We talk through what blocks people from pivoting (even when they are unhappy), and how to make small, meaningful changes that can open your mind and help you step into the person you know you meant to be!
You will love this discussion!

Community - the part I never knew I needed.
I remember when I started this, I felt like "I already have friend relationships, family relationships, etc... I don't need any more of that."
But as I opened my mind more, I learned that this was a community that lifted me up in NEW ways. It was something I just hadn't experienced before, and something that was missing in my life.
In this episode, I chat through COMMUNITY and the importance of connecting with people who help you grow and develop in positive ways.

I shared some of my VISION journaling on Instagram, and got a ton of requests for more specifics -- you asked, I listened!
Here are some prompting questions to think about for each area:
Faith: Who are you at your core and what do you believe you were put on this planet to do? What is your bigger, God given purpose? What are your true talents and why are you meant to use them?
Family: What kind of wife/mom/sister/etc are you? What types of things are you and your family doing on a daily basis? Vacations you take - to where? What are your kids doing? What are family-related dreams that you've made come true?
Career: What are your career strengths? What career advancement have you created? What level of income are you earning? How does your career make you feel on a day-to-day basis?
Marriage: How do you want your relationship to feel? What are things you are doing together? Conversations you are having? What trips/vacations/quality time are you having with your spouse? How do you interact on a daily basis?
My February New Coach Mentorship kicks off February 1st, and I'm specifically looking for women who are: willing to take risks, lifelong learners, kind & fun, community-driven, hardworking, committed, optimistic, and passionate about health + fitness.
If you or someone you know are a good fit for what I just described + interested in becoming a coach and being mentored by me, please send me an email at mollyjoasplin@gmail.com or head to www.mollyasplin.com/coaching to apply!
In this episode, I talk through why it's okay to have multiple passions even if they aren't all directly related to your full time job! Healthier employees = better employees, and I am a firm believer that taking care of ourselves and GROWING ourselves makes us BETTER at our full time jobs, too!
Have you ever felt guilty or awkwardness around wanting to pursue something on the side because you have a full time job that you really like?
Or maybe, you've got something you're doing on the side but you just don't want to share much about it out of fear of how it might be perceived.
I relate to these things, and this was totally me when I started my coaching business, so I definitely understand the feelings! Take a listen to hear how I specifically worked through them.

In this episode, I talk through 3 common obstacles that will inevitably come your way as you are starting something new and gaining traction.
Just as you get going and feel the excitement rising with a new goal or vision, undoubtedly there will be obstacles that come. But remember - if there are no obstacles, there is no growth!
I have experienced all of these myself and will continue to -- but now I know it's totally part of the process.
The 3 most common obstacles I have dealt with and that I hear from others:
1.) I don't have enough TIME.
2.) I'm worried about others' opinions - refer to Episode 8 for a deeper dive into this
3.) YOU! You will be one of your own biggest roadblocks to your own growth!

This is surely one of the most important concepts I have learned in my adult life... That TIME is the great differentiator.
We live in a Door Dash, Instant access, Amazon Prime society where we want and expect everything yesterday.
So in our culture, we have lost touch with the step where the power lies -- in the CULTIVATING. We want to go from Planting to Harvesting, but Cultivating is where the real progress is, and simply put - Cultivating takes time and patience.
This episode is based on the book The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson that I am reading as part of my New Coach Academy. If you are interested in grabbing one of the 5 remaining mentorship spots for 2021, head to mollyasplin.com/coaching or send me an email at mollyjoasplin@gmail.com!
In this episode, I talk through a very common question I get asked... "How do I get my spouse to support me with my business?" or sometimes the SPOUSE will ask me "How can I support my wife/husband behind the scenes with this?"
My husband, Steve, works his own full time job but has always been very supportive of me growing my coaching business. I talk through what that journey has looked like and how he gave support early on as I was getting started and now as I continue to build my business 7 years later.
This has been a very life-giving vessel to our relationship as a couple because it opened us up to personal development, many like-minded people, and really helped us dream bigger together.
I hope this episode helps you - if it does, be sure to share it with your spouse!

In this episode, I chat with my friend and fellow coach, Katy Fassett!
If you're on Instagram, you have probably seen one of Katy's hilarious reels come up on your Discover feed! Katy has experienced a lot of growth on social media this year, but also in many other ways - and that's what we talk about in this episode!
4 years ago, Katy was feeling very lonely and isolated as a new mom, wondering if this was "it".
She started working on herself and quickly began helping others do the same -- it all felt very good to her, and she found joy in learning something new. Reading The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod was a turning point for her, realizing she needed to take control of how she was showing up.
She shares the qualities behind her success -- what she has learned and a look into her days now vs what they looked like 3 years ago.
"My happiest seasons are when I'm learning"
"The bar is low when it comes to consistency."
"When Scott and I talk, there's a 'before coaching' and there's an 'after coaching' because it has changed our life in so many ways."
I know you'll love this episode!

It’s okay to be grateful for what you have AND want something more. This is a special episode, and it’s a chance for you to hear from myself and 9 other fellow leaders in LIFE about our stories — the tugs that we felt and why we knew we needed more in life. A common theme? We were grateful for what we had - of course! And, we realized it’s okay to want more. More fulfillment, more community, more income… whatever your “more” is, it’s worth leaning into and paying attention vs continuing to go through life as so many of us do because “this is what I’m supposed to be doing" or "I should just be happy." etc. We are goal-oriented beings, and the growth you experience on the way to new goals is so fulfilling in itself. I can’t wait to hear your takeaways from this one! Feel free to email me at mollyjoasplin@gmail.com with your specific takeaways, or take a screenshot on Instagram and share there! Ahhhh.... it's here!
This is a project that has been on my heart for awhile now, and I'm so excited to finally be sharing with you!
Last year when social media got heated with all that was going on (and I know it can still get heated), I just kept thinking, "what if we could use this space together for GOOD?" For more impact. More kindness. To do something bigger than ourselves -- together. Yes - I know this doesn’t solve much in the grand scheme of things, but I saw this as a small but actionable step we could initiate together, in a positive direction. So I’m hoping that if you’re interested & able, you can help me bring this to life. Introducing… Move For A Movement >> Girls CAN. This is a MOVEMENT opportunity... to MOVE in these tanks, SHARE the message of GOOD, and give back while doing so. Tanks (and the cutest toddler shirts!) will be live as of Tuesday, November 16th at www.mollyasplin.com/girlscan. Proceeds are going to BIO Girls, a program ending the self-esteem crisis in adolescent girls. I'm not earning anything from this, just covering costs of shirts! Learn more about BIO Girls here. How to take part? Order your tank and.... 1.) Sport your tank for any type of workout. 2.) Take a sweaty selfie in your tank! 3.) Share an uplifting post on social media and share what/who you are moving for! Be sure and use hashtag #moveforamovement and #girlscan ! Bonus - please get your kids involved too! Youth tanks and toddler t-shirts are also available! (limited quantities!) There are a limited quantity of tanks available so grab yours fast! And once you get it in the mail, don’t forget to MOVE and share with us why YOU are moving! Let’s share the Good - Do good. Be a light for others. Feel good. Act fast and snag your shirts! www.mollyasplin.com/girlscan Please share this podcast + social media posts widely so that others can join us in the movement!
In this episode, I talk through 3 key areas of my journey where I've learned the importance of both grit AND gratitude.
I share about coming out of my over-exercise addiction and how I found peace and gratitude overcoming that season of my life.
I discuss breaking the all in/all out mentality and how got gritty to create consistent habits while being grateful for the bigger process that was happening around me.
And I share about the importance of grit and gratitude on the journey of motherhood - probably the area where I've learned the most about grit + gratitude as compliments in my life. So much grace needed as a mom!
I look at Nov-Dec as an opportunity to be in control and feel GOOD throughout the holiday season... To create more joy for yourself, more energy, and appreciate the gatherings and family time beyond just food or indulging. We can take care of ourselves or let healthy habits slide.
To apply for Grit + Gratitude bootcamp, go to www.mollyasplin.com/bootcamp and I will be in touch with you!
Do you ever have those days/weeks where you just feel bleh? Like you need to press pause for a moment and get to the cause of what's up? That was me last week, and there's something super helpful I did to move past it. I believe I came out much better because of it!
I wrote out: Things I want to STOP and things I want to START. In this episode, I chat through the specifics of what I wrote! I have a feeling this will get your wheels spinning with areas you may want to focus on as well!
I also made a template for you to do your own journaling around this topic. Subscribe to my email list here, and watch for it in your email this week!

Kelly and I "met" on Instagram because I quickly noticed the messages around gratitude and personal development that she was sharing on her page, @sellwithkel ...I loved her energy, outlook, and positivity. We met for coffee shortly thereafter where I got to know her a bit more, and I left our conversation feeling super uplifted!
Kelly pivoted into Real Estate after being in a few different careers -- she talks about how she took a chance on herself, stayed consistent & hardworking, and eventually saw her hard work pay off.
Kelly and I chat about how we both lacked confidence growing up but learned the importance of personal development + growth mindset as we entered our careers and motherhood. In my mid twenties, I started feeling like something was missing. I didn't know what it was, but I knew that overall, I just wanted to feel happier. To learn more about my story, hop over to Episode 1!
In this episode, I talk thorough 3 shifts I worked through to CREATE happiness from within. I get it -- it sounds cheesy or cliche, but I truly believe that happiness is a mental attitude, and if it's not learned or practiced, it is never experienced!
1.) Getting super honest with yourself about your current situation and attitude towards it.
2.) Immersing yourself into new communities that will lift you up
3.) Understanding that you are a goal-striving being -- humans are wired to want to achieve goals

In this episode, I have the honor of interviewing Jesse Lillejord. Jesse is a wife, mom of 2 girls, and Doctor at Chiro For Moms in the Twin Cities (highly recommend -- that's where she and I connected!)
Jesse shares her story around leaning into a passion she had around specializing with moms in the chiropractic world. She saw a need to niche & specialize and went for it. She talks about the rollercoaster feelings involved in starting a new business and how she remained rooted in purpose.
We discuss social media and how, even though we were both apprehensive of it, it has vastly helped us develop both online + real life communities and expand our impact. Jesse shares about her initial reservations with it, and how she wishes she had started building on social media sooner.
Jesse shares her about morning routine, her cadence as a working mom, and what she has learned about leadership - specifically leading a team of strong women.
You will hear the calm confidence, kindness, and passion in her voice -- qualities that I believe are part of what have made her so successful.
Be sure to follow Dr Jesse and her team on Instagram @dr.jesse_chiroformoms and @chiro_for_moms -- their content is fantastic for any moms near and far!
In this episode, I discuss the concept of Self Leadership and how to lead yourself well. Are you showing up for yourself in ways that you want to be?
I talk about following through on the daily habits + commitments you set for yourself as well as leading yourself to the bigger picture visions you have for your life. If you don't have self commitment in both of these areas (the short term and the long term), leading yourself will be a challenge.
How do you lead yourself when things get hard? Are you able to harvest the good from difficult situations? Do you respond thoughtfully? Or do you react with anxiety or go into a funk? I share characteristics of strong leaders and how they handle adversity.
The best leaders I know have a strong sense of ownership, decision making skills, and they can move forward from a hard situation relatively quickly - while experiencing growth from it.
When you start adopting these principles, credibility in yourself changes. You develop inner confidence in yourself, and you begin to trust yourself. Others will absolutely feel this -- they will see you living it.

In this episode, I discuss small wins that will ultimately create long term, massive success.
One of my favorite lines from the book "Million Dollar Habits" states: It takes 5-7 years of focused, determined work on yourself to get better in specific areas. If you do what other successful people do, you'll eventually get the same results. Nobody is better or smarter - they simply started working on themselves earlier than you did.
I break down simple wins that I work to give myself every single day, and how I went about creating those habits -- a technique called Habit Stacking from "Atomic Habits" by James Clear. Example: After I get out of bed, I will put on my workout clothes.
For a deeper dive into my morning routine, check out Episode 2: How To Rock Your Morning Routine
I talk about my weekly process of Clearing & Cutting, reflecting on my wins, losses, and how I can improve for the next week. The planner I reference is the Rise Up planner by Moira Kucaba.
If you are starting a business, consistent, small wins are very important for others who are watching as well -- they need to know if you are in this consistently for the long term, or if you are treating it like a "flash in the pan" opportunity. Every time you do the value driving activities, you give yourself the small wins, and you put a deposit in the trust bank.
Remember the bigger picture and that this is a journey of growth from the inside out - you can't spread your wings to fly unless you have done the work of growing your roots on the inside. I discuss this concept in Episode 12: The Power of Consistency
Give yourself grace in the process; the entire reason we are creating disciplined habits is to create the freedom we desire.

In this episode, I chat about the important topic of sleep and sleep routines for our littles with Certified Pediatric Sleep Coach, Kendra Mueller. I worked firsthand with Kendra when my toddler was waking during the night, and we were TIRED! We needed help and guidance, and I have learned so much from Kendra around sleep as it relates to our children. I know you will too!
Sleep is an important need for both busy moms and our children, and it's hard to function at our best when we are running on 'E' from lack of sleep.
New moms can face a lot of fear like "you'll never sleep again!", and Kendra gives parents confidence and sleep methods that work best for each family.
We talk through common myths around sleep training and "cry it out". Kendra shares her expertise on boundary setting with sleep, expectations, and helps simplify what can feel like an otherwise overwhelming topic.

In this episode, I discuss the common feeling of "I'm in a funk!" and how to get out of it.
We all have periods of time where we feel off or in a funk. The part to know, however, is that you can teach yourself how to recover faster and feel better faster vs. staying stuck.
I believe feeling low/down can happen for several different reasons, and it's helpful to know what triggered your funk in the first place -- a vacation where you just got out of your routine, a disruption to the habits that make you feel good, a season change, or a life event. Nonetheless - it's important we learn to navigate all seasons to prevent ourselves from going into funks that last too long!
We discuss how best to get out of a funk and specific tactics that will leave you feeling empowered and in control of you, despite what might be going on around you.

Angie and I talk through all things ROUTINES and how solid processes help everyone know what to expect. Routines take away surprises and obstacles and help us as busy moms to go through our days with more peace - yes please!
We dive into monthly, weekly, and daily routines for the entire family and how best to implement them.
If you'd like the printable routine charts that we mention and you are not yet on my mailing list, please email mollyjoasplin@gmail.com with subject line "ROUTINE CHART", and I'll get them sent over!

In this episode, I chat about navigating the ongoing topic of "work life balance" as a mom who cares about her family and her children (of course!) AND as a mom who wants to thrive and flourish in her career. I am strive to do my very best with both, and it's not always easy.
I believe we CAN do both well, but that it does take ongoing reflecting, adaptability, and putting one foot in front of the other as we move through different seasons of life.
I definitely don't have this all have this figured out (who does?!), and I will always be on a quest to find harmony & alignment with the priorities that I value most in my life.
I pay attention to moms I look up to who have gone before me, I think about how I want each day to FEEL, I remember my kids are only little once, and I ask for help!
Here's to normalizing that we all do it different and supporting other mamas every step of the way. XO

In this episode, I talk through the specific fears I hear from others when starting something new. It's amazing to me how similar all our fears are, and they usually boil down to:
"I'm worried about what others will think" (please refer back to Episode 8 for this entire topic! - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/episode-8-im-too-worried-about-what-other-people-think/id1561020036?i=1000522876068)
"I'm worried I won't be good at it" - you're right, you won't be good at it in the beginning! As you take action and fail forward, you will get better and better.
And....
"Who will join me?"
"I don't want to be salesy."
"I'm worried about social media."
"I'm not far enough on my own journey yet."
I talk candidly through all these fears, and my hope is that this leaves you more courageous, empowered, and inspired to take action THROUGH the fears. Action creates confidence (not the other way around!). You are not alone in these fears, and you have what you need within you, it just takes time and consistency in moving through them.

In this episode, I discuss about 5 not-so-talked-about realities that I've experienced in my last 6 years of creating my business from the ground up.
Being your own boss comes with responsibility, work ethic, and self accountability to show up and do what you need to do, when you need to do it.
With this business model, I am the creator of my results. I am paid based on a reflection of the number of people I serve and the impact I create. I am in control of creating the results and setting the vision for the impact I want to create.
Time is a gift, and I believe we need to be living out careers and visions that light our fire and truly help us leave the mark that we want to leave on this world vs. just going through the motions everyday.
I hope this episode gives you a clear picture of what I have experienced the last 6 years and some of my real life learnings behind it all!

In this episode, I talk about a concept called the knowing-doing gap.
Most of us know exactly what we need to do to make something happen, but yet we simply don't do it. It's not a knowledge gap, it's an execution gap. The book "12 Week Year" by Brian P Moran & Michael Lennington breaks this down so well
This is why so many Americans are obese despite the surplus of information around health and fitness. It's no secret HOW to lose weight or become healthier, but yet so many don't take the necessary action. Execution gap.
I break down what I believe are 3 main reasons we don't take action on the things we should: Fear, Time, and Self Belief.
Every morning you wake up a new version of yourself - that is refreshing! Yesterday is the past; what matters is right here, right now, and what you decide to do with TODAY.
I'm going to be working with 10 new coach leaders for my health & fitness business, and I'm specifically looking for women who are intentional, confident in most areas, and know there is more within them. As your mentor, I can help you gain the courage to act and go after the dreams that have been tucked inside you all along. You do the work, but I'm there for you as a mentor and a guide. If you're interested in being one of the ten, please email me at mollyjoasplin@gmail.com and we can chat from there.

Have you ever felt like you're not "far enough along" in life? Do you scroll social media at times and feel envy or jealousy?
In this episode, Caitlin Brown and I discuss how we've personally developed the awareness and mindset to work through thoughts of comparison.
Adopt the qualities of those you admire.
Get in closer proximity to those you admire.
Observe the thoughts rather than letting them spiral.
Immerse yourself into a mindset of collaboration vs. competition. When one shines, we all shine.

This episode is for my fellow workaholics and Enneagram 3's! Do you LOVE to work and achieve, and sometimes you have trouble turning it off? I do! I have come a long way in this department, and I hope this can help you do the same!
I've learned that downtime and relaxation really help me to be more creative. You have to slow down to go fast.
Working longer hours and "grinding harder" is not necessarily associated with better results. Intentional, inspired action is what really matters.

"But what if I fail?"..... The only sure way to fail is not to start.
In this episode, I discuss the "fear of failure" that holds so many of us back. What I know to be true is that we all have fear; it's simply our decision to move through it and take the first steps.
The only way to move through the fear is to do the thing!
The Terror Barrier is the feeling of fear & anxiety that you experience when you're about to push past your comfort zone in a major way. When we do this, there is awesome growth on the other side!
I share my favorite tactics for channeling nerves as excitement and letting my guard down in order to experience authentic growth... move through the fear!

"We live in a crockpot society with microwave dreams."
Have you ever wished things would happen faster for you? Do you feel like you are "doing all the things", but you still aren't where you really want to be? Or, have you ever reached a certain goal, and then you regress and go back to exactly where you were before?
In this episode, we talk about the compound effect of positive habits over time and becoming the person you want to be, beyond just doing the things and checking the boxes. There comes a point where it's more than "just keep showing up" or "work harder"; it's the person you are becoming in the process.

In this episode, I interview one of my coaches, Emma Page, after just returning from a trip to Mexico together with our spouses and a few other coach couples as well.
Emma began coaching less than 2 years ago, and I have watched her shift from timid, nervous, and anxious, to a confident leader with an very strong growth mindset.
Emma shares about how she used to live life battling social anxiety and with overall uncertainty about where she was headed. She stepped into the coaching opportunity unsure where it may take her, and with a very open mind. Today her life is very different and how she shows up everyday is very different - grateful, passionate, and positive, all qualities that you will hear in her voice throughout this episode!
It has been a joy for me to get to mentor Emma the past two years and have the honor of growing alongside her on both our journeys.
I hope you are inspired to action by this rockstar and that she gets you dreaming a little (or a lot!) bigger. I loved this interview!

In this episode, I had the honor of interviewing a fiercely passionate mentor of mine, Julie Voris.
Julie is just that- fiercely passionate -- about all that she does. We chat about money mindset (it's okay to want to earn more money!) and how success is abundant - there is plenty to be shared. When one shines, we all shine.
Julie has been a coach for 13 years - she has walked the walk, and she's a lifelong learner. She's also a wife and a mom to 3 girls. All her roles are very intertwined and her values & priorities blend in a very purposeful way.
I hope this fuels your fire as much as it does for me!

This episode is for the hardworking woman, the awesome mom, and the super grateful wife... everything is "good", but you also feel like something is missing.
You know there's something more out there for you, but you're not sure what. You want to do something that feels more purposeful. You want to follow a passion... but maybe you're not even sure what that passion is?!
I talk through a series of questions that you can ask yourself to help navigate this journey. You'll peel back the layers and discover what's really inside you -- and you'll learn it's okay to lean into that!

In this episode, I chat about a very common fear when starting something new -- being worried about what other people will think. I am a former people pleaser, and being overly consumed in what others might think held me back when I was initially starting my health & fitness coaching business. I talk through my personal experience and what helped me gain the courage to step into my own and just be me.
I chat through things like:
"What if those close to me don't support me?"
"My friends/family don't understand what I'm doing."
We are our own biggest critics, and when you learn what's really important to you, it becomes easier to be open with everyone and share your true voice, because what you're sharing is rooted in your purpose and values.
If you try to speak to everyone, you don't speak to anyone.
I mention a quote from the book Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert- "We all spend our twenties and thirties trying so hard to be perfect, because we’re so worried about what people will think of us. Then we get into our forties and fifties, and we finally start to be free, because we decide that we don’t give a damn what anyone thinks of us. But you won’t be completely free until you reach your sixties and seventies, when you finally realize this liberating truth—nobody was ever thinking about you, anyhow."
This isn't a fear that will go away overnight, but it's absolutely something that will come when you take one courageous step at a time!

In this episode, I chat about the missing pieces that often go unnoticed for a joyful fitness routine.
Success is 95% MINDSET, 5% strategy, so we need to focus more on how we are showing up each day, not just the workout itself. Personal development is key for this. "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson is a great read around becoming more consistent.
It helps to understand your own habit tendencies; fitness habits are not a one size fits all. Take Gretchen Rubin's Four Tendencies Quiz here.
If you find yourself starting and stopping, you'll learn how to create CONSISTENCY vs. on again, off again behavior.
When you veer off course (and you will), get curious, not emotional.
Fitness is just the tip of the iceberg - there is so much more underneath to drive positive change like Community, Environment, & Mindset.

In this episode, I chat with my husband, Steve, about how and why we decided to press pause on life, quit our corporate jobs, sell our house + furniture, and travel around the world for 5 months!
We share about how we set ourselves up to do this, the conversations that went into our decision, and the specifics on price and logistics. We chat about where we went (16 countries) and how an "Around The World" ticket even works!
We booked our ticket via AirTreks
We also share specific moments on the trip that helped us gain clarity and insight into how we wanted life to feel upon return and what things DID feel like upon return!
We hope you enjoy this one - we love chatting about all things travel!
In this episode, I share how to create a solid morning routine to set your day up for success.
"The Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod is a book that initially motivated me to start a mindful morning routine. This process changed my life and has helped my mindset so much.
Over time, I've adapted a specific daily practice I follow every morning, before the rest of the world needs me.
I created a downloadable morning routine tracker for you! Download your tracker and put what you learned into action! - https://mollyasplin.com/2021/04/15/rock-your-morning-routine-wake-up-early-create-an-extraordinary-life/

In this episode, I share my story about how I pivoted from my role in Corporate America to something different that I was passionate about.
I couldn't pinpoint it exactly, but I had gotten to a point where I knew there was more in me - more passion, purpose, and something different...but I wasn't sure what.
I could see my path in Corporate America, but in my heart & intuition, I knew I needed to look inside at what I really wanted vs. simply changing jobs. I needed to look at who I really was and how I wanted to feel each day. I wanted to feel excited about the day ahead.
"Can you cultivate passion?" - a question I had curiously asked one of my corporate mentors.
I began to pivot and work on myself - fitness, clean eating, and mindset, after starting my own coaching business and becoming more aligned with the girl that I knew was in there somewhere.
