Iordan Mentore explores perspectives missing from the broader discourse surrounding China’s growing impact across the globe. The podcast will bring hidden gems and unapologetic conversation on modern China to the forefront of media in a digestible manner. We will offer weekly conversations surrounding a range of topics from US-China relations to China’s influence on black lives across the diaspora.
Each episode is designed to intrigue the mind while providing value to each listener, including audience members who may not be familiar with this realm. Brooklyn to Beijing will present a fresh and neutral environment, that removes the intellectual snark and invites a welcoming space for relatable insights impacting younger black people.
Bi-weekly podcasts will be delivered via traditional DSPs, with a hybrid model of interview-style & conversation. Along with an audio experience, we intend to provide daily digital content circulating around shareable resources related to podcast content.
