Now, we look ahead to the offseason and tell you what we would like to see happen, where we want to see certain free agents land, if we want certain players to be traded, and what we think certain teams should do to improve their situations. It was a lot of fun so don't miss another great episode!
Yes, the worst possible combination of teams to reach the Super Bowl have unfortunately, made it to the big game. The Kansas City Chiefs are going for history attempting to win their third consecutive Super Bowl. Their opponent is the Philadelphia Eagles, who possibly have the best roster in football, led by running back and MVP candidate Saquon Barkley. There is definite Chiefs fatigue among NFL fans, and outside of Saquon Barkley fans, no one really likes the Eagles. But, the game will be played anyway. We're here to preview the Super Bowl and give you our thoughts and predictions!
The Wild Card round wasn't as wild as anticipated with only one close game out the six. However, the divisional round games are going to be much tougher and, most likely, much closer. The headliner are the two favorites to win MVP in Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen going head to head in Buffalo. The unfortunate truth is one of these quarterbacks is going to advance with the Super Bowl in their sights being just one more game away, and the other is going home with an entire offseason of "he just can't get it done in the playoffs" comments from media, fans, and the like. It will be a showdown for the ages.
Believe it or not, the 2024 NFL regular season is over and we are entering the postseason! In the AFC, the favorites appear to be Baltimore, Buffalo, and of course, Kansas City. In the NFC, it's wide open. Unlike years past, you can make a case for all seven playoff teams to make it all the way to the Super Bowl and it wouldn't be a huge shock. We pick our Super Bowl matchups and make our Wild Card round selections, and we expect some of these games to be truly Wild!
Over the last five games, Kirk Cousins has thrown nine interceptions and only one touchdown. With Atlanta's playoff hopes still alive, they're turning to rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. for a spark on offense. Patrick Mahomes may miss time with an ankle injury, which could put the Chief's #1 seed chances in jeopardy. What's even worse about that is we would have to watch Carson Wentz play quarterback on Christmas Day.
The Washington Commanders have gone 1-3 since our last bonus episode. However, it's not as bad as that sounds. They have a solid lead on the 7th seed in the NFC and with 4 games to go, they have a schedule that on paper isn't too worrisome. We analyze where the team is right now, where Daniels is in his progression as an NFL quarterback, and how far this team can go if they make it into the playoffs.
The NFC West might be the tightest division race this season and all 4 teams are very much alive. Over in the AFC, Denver, Miami, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati are all fighting for the last wild card spot. We're breaking down games with major playoff implications and even some potential Super Bowl matchups.
It is now December and there are five weeks left of the regular season, which mean teams will start making their final push for the big dance in January. Most games we spend a significant amount of time on will be games with playoff implications.

It’s all falling apart for Jerry Jones. His Cowboys, his dreams of reaching another Super Bowl, his billion dollar playpen, it’s all quite literally collapsing. The one positive takeaway from the past several months was the $18M gate that AT&T stadium received for the Paul vs. Tyson fight (if you can call it that). Tell me if you’ve heard this more than a couple times in the past dozen years, both New York franchises are imploding. We might be the only ones not surprised about that one. The Washington Commanders are 7-2, their best record through 9 games since 1996. They currently have the second best record in the NFC, only one game behind the Detroit Lions. Prior to Tuesdays trade deadline, Washington added a premier starting cornerback in Marshon Lattimore. Corner was their biggest hole on the roster and this addition will help them come January.

ESPN published an article back in July of the top 100 athletes since 2000. It was a polarizing and controversial list to say the least. That article is the main topic of this week’s episode and inspired us to create our own list of the top 10 athletes of the 21st century.
The NFC South is not exactly the most exciting division to cover this year. It's not great. But, it has been extremely competitive and the division race is sure to be very tight again this year. That makes for some entertaining football.
This week we're previewing the AFC South! The most experienced starting quarterback in the division is Trevor Lawrence, and despite his recent, top of the market contract extension, he still has a lot to prove. CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis find themselves in similar situations, needing to prove that they can lead their teams and take control of this division. This could be one of the best divisions in football if these quarterbacks prove to be the real deal.
