Here on Odds on Favorite, Ben Parker and Robertson Viar of Fantom Sports breakdown and analyze key weekly matchups in both the college football and NFL realm and tell you where they'd put their money.
We came out of Week 1 with a strong win against a division rival. Definitely a good way to start the season, but there is plenty to fix. We give you our recap of the game against the Giants and preview the first of many primetime games for Washington this season, the Week 2 matchup against the Green Bay Packers!

This week, we preview the NFC South and give our predictions for this very underwhelming division. Then, we walk down memory lane and share our memories of the McDonald's toys that we got when we were kids and some of the more popular ones of all time.
It's that time of year again where we inspect the international reach of the NFL and what it could mean for the future of football.
We welcome back Simon Shortt from the Simon & Friends Podcast to preview the AFC South!
Ben is back again to continue our division preview series, previewing the AFC West division for the upcoming season. The reigning AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs are still favorites to win this division, primarily due to the all-time coach-quarterback pairing of Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. However, could this be the most competition within the division that they have faced thus far? We give our floor and ceiling record predictions of each team in the AFC West!
We continue our division preview series with the AFC East! Shane Ratliff is filling in again and we spend a good amount of time discussing his New England Patriots and the improvements they made this off-season.
The band is back together! This week we preview the NFC East. Philly is obviously the runaway favorite this year for the division. However, how far away are the other teams from challenging them? We give our analysis of each roster she win predictions for the upcoming season!
This week, we have another guest and good friend, Simon Shortt joining the podcast! We preview the AFC North, which the past several years has been very competitive. With the quarterback positions in Cleveland and Pittsburgh very much up in the air, is this division still primed to be just as competitive the way it has the past few years? Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel at the link below!

We start our division preview series with the NFC North and a new guest to the show, Shane Ratliff! In what is anticipated to be one of the most competitive divisions in football, we analysis each team's roster and give our expectations for them for the 2025 NFL Season!
We give you the official Odds on Favorite 2025 NFL Mock Draft. We mock the entire first round and part of the second round. No, it did not go as expected. Yes, it was a lot of fun!
This week, Ben tweaks the rules to the game from our last episode. It's a lot of fun, gets a little silly, but there's a lot of good analysis on some first round prospects in the 2025 NFL Drafr (in-between all the laughter).
This week, we review the top edge pass rushing prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. We play a game that includes the top 10 edge rusher prospects, 16 teams that are in need of an edge rusher, and Imperial Credits...it was a fun time and we hope you enjoy!
The NFL new league year is underway and all free agent signings, and trades are official! We give you our reactions to some of the big moves that have been reported so far, and also tell you the teams that we think are crushing it and others who are getting crushed.
Something that has always been enjoyable for us has been our quarterback conversations, and more specifically, ranking them. We put all starting (even the ones that shouldn't) quarterbacks in tiers to better describe their standing in the NFL as a starting quarterback. As always, it was a lot of fun and we hope you enjoy it!
The 2024 NFL Season is over and it was a great year with an anticlimactic ending. Philadelphia absolutely destroyed the Kansas City Chiefs and prevented the 3-peat. Now, we look ahead to the offseason and tell you what we would like to see happen, where we want to see certain free agents land, if we want certain players to be traded, and what we think certain teams should do to improve their situations. It was a lot of fun so don't miss another great episode!
Yes, the worst possible combination of teams to reach the Super Bowl have unfortunately, made it to the big game. The Kansas City Chiefs are going for history attempting to win their third consecutive Super Bowl. Their opponent is the Philadelphia Eagles, who possibly have the best roster in football, led by running back and MVP candidate Saquon Barkley. There is definite Chiefs fatigue among NFL fans, and outside of Saquon Barkley fans, no one really likes the Eagles. But, the game will be played anyway. We're here to preview the Super Bowl and give you our thoughts and predictions!
The Wild Card round wasn't as wild as anticipated with only one close game out the six. However, the divisional round games are going to be much tougher and, most likely, much closer. The headliner are the two favorites to win MVP in Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen going head to head in Buffalo. The unfortunate truth is one of these quarterbacks is going to advance with the Super Bowl in their sights being just one more game away, and the other is going home with an entire offseason of "he just can't get it done in the playoffs" comments from media, fans, and the like. It will be a showdown for the ages.
Believe it or not, the 2024 NFL regular season is over and we are entering the postseason! In the AFC, the favorites appear to be Baltimore, Buffalo, and of course, Kansas City. In the NFC, it's wide open. Unlike years past, you can make a case for all seven playoff teams to make it all the way to the Super Bowl and it wouldn't be a huge shock. We pick our Super Bowl matchups and make our Wild Card round selections, and we expect some of these games to be truly Wild!
Over the last five games, Kirk Cousins has thrown nine interceptions and only one touchdown. With Atlanta's playoff hopes still alive, they're turning to rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. for a spark on offense. Patrick Mahomes may miss time with an ankle injury, which could put the Chief's #1 seed chances in jeopardy. What's even worse about that is we would have to watch Carson Wentz play quarterback on Christmas Day.
The Washington Commanders have gone 1-3 since our last bonus episode. However, it's not as bad as that sounds. They have a solid lead on the 7th seed in the NFC and with 4 games to go, they have a schedule that on paper isn't too worrisome. We analyze where the team is right now, where Daniels is in his progression as an NFL quarterback, and how far this team can go if they make it into the playoffs.
The NFC West might be the tightest division race this season and all 4 teams are very much alive. Over in the AFC, Denver, Miami, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati are all fighting for the last wild card spot. We're breaking down games with major playoff implications and even some potential Super Bowl matchups.
It is now December and there are five weeks left of the regular season, which mean teams will start making their final push for the big dance in January. Most games we spend a significant amount of time on will be games with playoff implications.
We hope you all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! We break down this week's slate of games and give our predictions, and we also go through the top 10 dishes for Thanksgiving dinner!
It’s all falling apart for Jerry Jones. His Cowboys, his dreams of reaching another Super Bowl, his billion dollar playpen, it’s all quite literally collapsing. The one positive takeaway from the past several months was the $18M gate that AT&T stadium received for the Paul vs. Tyson fight (if you can call it that). Tell me if you’ve heard this more than a couple times in the past dozen years, both New York franchises are imploding. We might be the only ones not surprised about that one. Also, why are the best kickers in the game terrible right now? We discuss all that and more in this week’s episode!
The Washington Commanders are 7-2, their best record through 9 games since 1996. They currently have the second best record in the NFC, only one game behind the Detroit Lions. Prior to Tuesdays trade deadline, Washington added a premier starting cornerback in Marshon Lattimore. Corner was their biggest hole on the roster and this addition will help them come January.
There were several trades made before Tuesday's 4pm trade deadline. Did your team make a move? The compensation on some of these trades was interesting to say the least. This week's slate of games include some heavy road favorites and many double-digit victory predictions.
The NFC North is stacked. All 4 teams still have winning records after 8 weeks. This week, division rivals Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers faceoff in what should be the game of the week. Both teams are coming in red hot with a lot of momentum. This is the first game that has true playoff and playoff seeding implications.
We welcome back our very good friend Simon Shortt to the podcast to discuss his Pittsburgh Steelers and his oh-so favorite quarterback Russell Wilson taking over the offense. We also many other teams around the NFL and our biggest takeaways from the week. We make our picks for Week 8 and go on many tangents throughout the episode. It was a lot of fun having Simon on as usual!
The big news this week is that top wide receivers Davante Adams and Amari Cooper are both on the move. Adams reunites with his former quarterback Aaron Rodgers in New York and Cooper is headed to Buffalo to give Josh Allen a true No.1 option at receiver. These moves could end up changing the fates of these franchises for the season. Week 7 has some great games between contending teams and we have our picks ready for you. Grab your popcorn and enjoy what should be another great weekend of football.
In a somewhat surprising move, the New York Jets have fired Robert Saleh after a lackluster 2-3 start to their season. Some other big news dropped in the AFC East as the New England Patriots have named rookie quarterback Drake Maye their starter moving forward. There's a lot of big news this week, along with big games that we give some bold predictions on. You're not going to want to miss this one!
The Washington Commanders have shocked the league with a 3-1 start led by rookie sensation Jayden Daniels. Daniels has played out of his mind despite a roster that is in severe need of a talent boost. Washington's defense looks like it will continue to be a problem and hold the team back from substantial success. With much uncertainty in the NFC East, anything looks to be possible.
If you were told that Sam Darnold would be leading the NFL in touchdown passes, be tied for the best record in the NFL, and be a top-5 MVP candidate through the first four weeks of the season, you'd think you were about to enter the Twilight Zone. Hard to believe that it's true, but here we are. We discuss that and a lot more gearing up for an exciting week of NFL football!
What an all-time performance by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels on MNF against the desperate and hopeful contender Cincinnati Bengals. And that wasn't the only great offensive performance in Week 3. We can't wait to see what Week 4 brings and we bring you our picks and fantasy players to watch for Week 4.
After a wild Week 2, there’s a handful of surprises. Some teams that are viewed as contenders are now 0-2, and some teams that were perceived bottom feeders are now 2-0. That’s the NFL for you! We’re in for another great slate of games during Week 3 and we make our picks!
You heard that probably half a dozen times no matter what game you watched during Week 1 of the NFL season. However, the games were exciting and we can't wait for more! We give you our biggest takeaways from Week 1, preview this week's slate of games and give a little fantasy advice as well!
Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season is finally here and we couldn't be more excited! There's many great matchups to start the season and we give our first week of bets. Also, we give some insight into our fantasy teams as well and briefly touch on Week 1 of the College Football season!
Training camp and preseason is over! The next time you watch your team take the field, it will be for a game that actually counts. In preparation for the season, we're making our final predictions for division winners, playoff teams, and our Super Bowl winner. We also look at odds for the regular season awards.
This week, we return the inception of our show, ranking the top 10 Quarterbacks in the NFL. However, it's not exactly a "top 10" list. We talk about a lot more than 10 QBs and if we didn't have to, we wouldn't consider some of them top 10 guys. I'm sure that controversial rankings and opinions were had. Who's in your top 10?
ESPN published an article back in July of the top 100 athletes since 2000. It was a polarizing and controversial list to say the least. That article is the main topic of this week’s episode and inspired us to create our own list of the top 10 athletes of the 21st century.
The NFC South is not exactly the most exciting division to cover this year. It's not great. But, it has been extremely competitive and the division race is sure to be very tight again this year. That makes for some entertaining football.
This week we're previewing the AFC South! The most experienced starting quarterback in the division is Trevor Lawrence, and despite his recent, top of the market contract extension, he still has a lot to prove. CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis find themselves in similar situations, needing to prove that they can lead their teams and take control of this division. This could be one of the best divisions in football if these quarterbacks prove to be the real deal.
This week we're covering the NFC North as part of Division Preview series. The division has gone through a lot of changes this off-season with two new rookie quarterbacks entering the mix, Caleb Williams and JJ McCarthy. The Lions are looking to repeat as division champs and the Packers are primed to get back on top.
In this week's episode, we preview the AFC North. This division will almost certainly have 3 playoff teams at the end of this upcoming season, and a possibility that the whole division make the postseason. Two of these teams are solid Super Bowl contenders with MVP level quarterbacks. This is building up to be one of the most difficult divisions we've seen in a long time. To start the show, we talk a little baseball and the Home Run Derby.
The next division in our series is the NFC West! This division could easily end up as one of the most competitive divisions this year. Two teams have Super Bowl windows that are closing due to their quarterback and cap situations, the other two are looking to get back into the playoff hunt. One thing is for sure: we can't wait for the season to start!
In our second edition of our Division Preview series we have the NFC East! This division always has some form of turmoil or drama, what will it be this year? Also, the Boston Celtics have won their 18th championship!

The NFL Draft is over and the Washington Commanders certainly had an interesting draft with 6 picks in the top 100. However, did they do enough? Did they make the right decisions? We discuss that and more in this Washington Commanders special edition episode!
This week, we give our reactions and opinions to the 2024 NFL Draft. We discuss the most surprising things from the draft and a few diamonds in the rough from the later rounds.

The offseason is in full swing with the NFL scouting combine and free agency just around the corner. This discussion this week: should these top free agents want to stay with their old teams or hit the market? Also, the third round of the first ever Head Coach Longevity Playoffs!
This week we go around the NFL and decide which QB situations are worth talking about entering the offseason. Also, the second round of the first ever Head Coach Longevity Playoffs!
We recap a very dramatic Super Bowl that wrapped up one of the more exciting seasons in recent memory. We then discuss Super Bowl 59 futures because, no, it's never too early. Also, which head coaches will last with their current team the longest?

The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs will be representing their respective conferences in this year's Super Bowl. This week, we look back at the conference championship games, grade the head coaching hires, and talk about our best theater experiences.
This was an episode in which there were rants about football and non-football related topics. This is the playoffs and the small details matter. By the end of the day on Sunday, we'll know who will be representing the AFC and NFC. We make our picks and discuss the importance of these games for a select few players legacies. Also, what are your top 5 favorite sitcoms of all time?

If the NFL truly is scripted, then they couldn't have given us a better Wild Card weekend to kickoff the playoffs. Give us a listen as we make our Wild Card predictions!

In our final episode of our division review series, we review the AFC North. With two elite teams and one on the rise, this could end up being one of the best, if not the best, division in the NFL. What would it take for that to happen? A breakout year from Kenny Pickett? A return to normal (on the field) for Deshaun Watson? Listen as we go through each team in the AFC North!
Next on our division review list is the AFC South. This division is full of youth and teams with loaded potential. In a few short years, we could be looking at this division as one of the best in the NFL, if all things go according to plan. Is Trevor Lawerence already an MVP-caliber player? Are the Texans actually in a good spot while in the midst of a massive rebuild? We talk about all of that and more in this week's episode.
We continue on with our division review series with the AFC West! The defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Cheifs are looking to repeat; did they actually get even better in the offseason? With Jimmy G? Anything is possible. Join us as we take a deep dive into each team!
This week we flip over to the AFC and continue our division reviews with the AFC East. Is Buffalo still a Super Bowl contender? We wrap up our division reviews in the NFC with the NFC East. Last season, there were three teams that represented the East in the NFL Playoffs. How did each team do in the offseason? Can the Eagles repeat as NFC Champions? Will the Cowboys meet expectations? Many questions that we discuss and more in this week's episode.
As we continue our division reviews, next up is the NFC South. Could this be the worst division in football? Or, could this division be a lot more interesting than people think? We answer those questions and more in this week's episode.
