Anxiety disorder is the most common mental illness, and I would argue that everyone has anxiety to some extent these days. With the current state of the world, extended screen time, and more demands on us to fulfill different roles and meet higher standards there is mental overload. Meditation is a powerful practice in general but can work wonders for anxiety.
Some of the benefits of meditation for anxiety include:
reversing the damage caused by anxiety on the brain
breaking the negative thought patterns
altering the way the brain and body respond to stress
balancing brain chemicals
helping direct the focus on something less stressful
bringing you back to the present moment
reducing negative emotions
reducing the stress hormone Cortisol
enhancing a healthier self-awareness
increasing memory and mental quickness
improving sleep (should be at the top of the list)
decreasing blood pressure
In this episode:
I explain what anxiety is and its symptoms on all parts of our being
I guide you through a meditation that includes a unique and effective breathing technique, and a mantra segment that is powerful to shift your focus and ease the body and mind
There will be 8 minutes of silence while you continue to breathe and be while a safe container is held for you
I would LOVE to hear how it goes for you!
Much LOVE!

Spirit Moves Podcast will release a unique meditation with breath work every month. For the first meditation episode, enjoy this soothing yet powerful meditation to connect you to all parts of your being; the four bodies. The physical body, the mental body, the emotional body and the spirit body. When one of these body's is blocked or imbalanced, so are the others. This meditation will leave you feeling fully seen, heard and acknowledged, as all parts of your being are integrated. Integration of these four body's in our daily life is the path of living a life more connected, authentic and true to you. Enjoy!
This episode is on a topic that mystifies many. There is a general feeling that only energy healers and mystics are intuitive, but in reality, we are all intuitive. Enjoy this episode that is greatly influenced by Caroline Myss: a medical intuitive, channeler. and author many books. Have a listen to uncover how you can fine-tune your intuitive abilities.
In this episode I discuss:
The definition of intuition
Ways you can cultivate intuition in everyday life
How to read and understand your intuition
How to reclaim your power
The three levels of intuition
How to cultivate and trust your inner voice and inner knowing
My hope with this podcast is to give you confidence in tuning into yourself, and listening to your gut instinct. With time this listening will cultivate trust, and it is through trust of your moment to moment input that you move to the creative intuition. It is through intuition, that you take your power and you life back, with relationships, work, and your actions. You are after all, an intuitive being.

This episode is on a topic that is often feared and avoided; vulnerability. I'll be honest, as an ex non-vulnerable person, some of the research and facts hit home. In this episode I discuss:
The definition of vulnerability
Brene Brown's research on vulnerability and shame
Our fear of vulnerability
The common myths of vulnerability
The shields that we carry to protect ourselves from vulnerability
My hope with this podcast is to bring some awareness and clarity that will help your life for the better. To know that to feel is to live, and that there is nothing greater than living within your authenticity. where you do not hide or fear showing up as you. In fact you celebrate it. This is indeed inner freedom.

This episode is full of wisdom from my life, as well as Desmond Tutu and Ram Dev on how to free our spirit of old wounds and grudges. It ends with a short meditation that can be done as often as you need to stay connected to uncomfortable emotions, and unravel and release what no longer serves you.
