In cooperation with the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia, the Latvian Institute of International Affairs held the presentation and the discussion of our latest policy brief: "Baltic and Nordic Responses to the 2020 Post-Election Crisis in Belarus".
The policy brief takes on and compares the reactions of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden in light of the Belarus 2020 post-election crisis and assesses implications for the bilateral and multilateral cooperation of the Baltics and Nordics with Belarus.

By gathering the leading experts and practitioners from Latvia and the US, the talk series will address political, economic, and security challenges and opportunities for the Baltic region in the upcoming years.
This is a talk on "US-Latvia Relations in the Context of New Realities" between Amb. John Carwile, Ambassador of the United States to Latvia and Dr. Edijs Bošs, Associate Professor at Riga Stradiņš University.

On February 18, the Latvian Institute of International Affairs, in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Latvia, held an online talk event with Mr. Tsuneo Watanabe, Senior Fellow of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation “The EU-Japan Connectivity in Today’s International Context – Japan’s Strategic Thinking: Europe, US, and Indo-Pacific.”
