trust, vulnerability, faith and courage are all topics that i've been thinking about a lot lately. today, i talk about my journey with trusting myself and others, and how lately i've been struggling to trust my own intuition and the people around me, and how i'm working to make my beliefs about trust a reality in my relationships.

in this episode, i read an essay that i wrote as an end-of-year assignment. it took a lot of courage for me to write, let alone share this essay, but it reflects a lot of the journey that i've gone through this year and the lessons i've learned. sophomore year was a tough one, but i hope to carry these lessons with me always.

three years?! yesterday was the official three-year birthday of the podcast, and i'm full of gratitude for all of you who have been on this journey with me over the past three years. today, i reflect on the early beginnings of the podcast, the name, and how this podcast has shaped me over the past three years. thank you for the constant love and support!

ok so this episode is NOT about romance in any way, shape, or form.... its about actual chemistry. like, the class. and my experience in it, and the hard lessons that this class has taught me outside of the textbook. but i promise its still just as juicy (ok maybe not) as the book!

this is kinda on par with last weeks episode, but more in detail with what i've been working on in my personal journey!

its taken a lot of hard work, tears, reflection and support to realize some of the things that i've come to learn over the past few months, maybe even the past year. this is the short version of all of those thoughts and feelings (even though its bordering on like 40 min...), and i hope that this reaches anyone who needs to hear this right now.
as always, with love,
nandini <3
today's episode is inspired by brene brown's book "the gifts of imperfection."

physical health is important, but exercise is more than just that. it has subconscious effects on the rest of our lives, reinforcing mentalities and habits that can make us stronger in many ways. so regardless if you do yoga, dance, go to the gym, run, etc., exercise is more than just that.

was i feeling motivated to record an episode on a random friday night? yes. is this episode also about motivation? also yes.
over the past few weeks, i've struggled with insecurity and comparison to a degree at which i haven't seen myself struggle before. so in today's episode i reflect on how i've dealt with comparison in the past and what i can do now to set myself up back on the path of growth. i hope that this episode provides some support to anyone struggling with this issue as well.

we all know that communication is crucial to healthy relationships, but how can we improve our openness in our relationships? through a three step process, i've been working on being more open with the people in my life after years of believing a false narrative that others couldn't help me to solve my problems. communication is crucial to a healthy lifestyle, and taking a small step each day to improve our skills is where growth happens. love, nandini
all relationships in life, whether they be platonic, romantic or family relationships, can be difficult at times. but there's no one size fits all answer on how to navigate complicated relationships. in my experience, centering myself, evaluating my priorities in the relationship and reflecting on my closeness with the other person has helped me to understand what my next best step will be.

today i talk about, well, independence, and the ins and outs that come with new responsibilities, especially as a teen.
(p.s. i'm using a new podcast recording platform and i have no idea how to use it, so hopefully this episode come out normally! if not, please lmk!)

the concept of freedom has been on my mind lately, and i wanted to share my interactions with this topic and how freedom has manifested in my life, as well as what i'm doing to work towards it each and every day. i hope that this inspires you to reflect on what freedom means in your own life.

ambition is an important driving force in life, but we don't stop to ask why we want what we want. asking why we want to succeed helps us gain clarity about ourselves and brings us just a little closer to living a more purposeful life. one small step we can take is simply asking "why?" more often, so i challenge you to ask yourself "why" you want something this week.

time is of the essence, and using it effectively is a problem that we've struggled with for centuries. i've found that by self-evaluating, staying conscious of my motivations and goals, and by tuning into my higher intelligence, i can use my time more effectively.

in my experience, my spiritual practice has come to be deeply intertwined with my personal development journey, and i have truly come to believe that personal development and self-care is a stepping stone towards spiritual connection. by making connections between spirituality and personal growth, and integrating those reflections into our lives, we can begin to truly see growth.
as 2023 comes to an end, its important to reflect on the lessons we learned this year. coming to accept some of my imperfections and grow from them has been a lesson that i've had to learn and re-learn throughout this year, so i found it fitting to focus the last episode of the year around it. i hope this inspires you to reflect on your growth through this year and take those reflections with you into 2024.

in addition to all the new podcast, changes, i talk about our society's obsession with productivity. we're taught from a young age that productivity is the best way to operate, but while it is important to be productive, we're missing a crucial aspect to what allows us to be productive in the first place. tune in to learn what it is!

over the past few months, i found myself relying on temporary bursts of gratification to try and feel happy and whole again. it did not work. instead what i've realized is that the things that bring me true happiness and joy are things that often come from within myself, or are within my control and power. by starting to incorporate the things that bring me true joy into my life, i've begun to live a more fulfilled and purposeful life. today, i share recent reflection on what true happiness is and what that means for us. have a great week :)

we easily forgive others in a heartbeat, but why is it so hard to extend that same grace to ourselves? in today's episode, i dive into this question, within the context of my struggles over the past month, and share my thoughts on how we can better extend forgiveness to ourselves and productively grow from these experiences. it feels good to be back :)

in today's episode, i talk about how my routine has had to change in the midst of life just getting busier. i've been struggling to make time for myself, and today i share how my routine has changed over the years and how i'm working to make time for myself today.

today's episode is just 3 reminders that i need to hear for this upcoming week, but also three reminders that i think we all need to hear from time to time!

im back! after four weeks off (i never want to be gone that long again...), i have a LOT to share. life has been hectic and crazy, but its also in those seasons of life where we learn incredibly valuable lessons. as we welcome fall, we also welcome a lot of craziness in life, and so today, i share some of the things that i've been going through in the past few weeks and the lessons ive learned from them.

nandini
in today's episode, i talk about how learning to trust the process of life, and trust in our ability to recognize our own growth and best interests is really what the phrase "get comfy w/ being uncomfy" really means. this has been something that i've been working through a lot the past couple weeks, and i just share some of my thoughts on the topic. have a great week!!

how do i stay grounded in my truth? what is truth? what is my truth versus what society tells me is truth? these are all questions i've been asking myself over the past few weeks, and questions that i address in today's episode. i've learned a lot over the past few days about what it means to fully and truly stay grounded in my truth and to prioritize that over what anyone else wants/expects of me. today, i talk all things truth, presence and confidence. listen to get the full story!! have a great week!

as a new school year begins, its important to reflect on your goals for the coming months ahead. i like to set a theme/intention for each school year, and this year, my theme is the idea of focus. focus when it comes to discipline and studying, focus when it comes to recognizing what is truly important in high school life, and really seeing things in a big-picture perspective. i'm honestly pretty excited for what sophomore year has to offer, so let's see where it goes!

celebrating the small wins, whether in the general journey of life or in reaching for a particular goal, is one of the most motivating things you can do. appreciating the work that you put into a particular goal, or to life in general, is really what it boils down to. these small milestones also serve as understanding for harder times, and help us to recognize that our journeys are made of hills and valleys, and that determination and perseverance will help us get to the next milestone.

we all have this point where our routines/ practices start to feel boring, or we're not getting as much value from them as we used to. that feeling is the first sign that its time to ignite a "controlled burn" in your life, meaning its time to change, rethink and shake up your routine. and just like in a forest, a controlled burn leaves the ecosystem with more abundance and growth, so working to change your practices for the better will pay off.
have an amazing week!!

dedication is often the underrated key that fuels our journeys towards our goals. motivation is just the kickstart of that journey. both are necessary to achieve your goals and keep you going, even through the periods of intense hard work. love, nandini ❤️
in today's episode, i talk about patience (kinda). as a fairly impatient person, patience has always seemed so foreign to me. but when i thought about patience in the same way through which i think about achieving a goal, it became more clear to me how to cultivate it. listen to the episode to learn more!!
have a fantastic week!

happy sunday!! today i revisit the topic of boundaries, why we're so scared of them, my experience with boundaries, and what we can do to make them just a little bit easier. i also talk about some common feelings around setting boundaries, like guilt, and some ways to change the way we think about them.
have a great week!

these five actions are some of my fav ways to facilitate deep inner conversations, whether its to understand more about myself as part of a learning journey, or its to clear up the root of some problem. these particular actions are also just regular old acts of self-care, but approaching them (or any other activity, for that matter) with the intention of digging deeper into yourself will spark your inner growth more than ever before.
happy sunday!

happy summer! this week's epi is super chill, just summer going-ons, plans and some other tidbits. stay tuned for some big changes coming soon...
hope you're having an amazing summer!

happy 100th epi!! thanks for all your love and support these past two years <3
today's episode is my thoughts on overcoming "setbacks" (you gotta listen to know why its in quotes) and more generally about goals and working towards them. regardless of what the goal you have is, setbacks will always manifest, but its about how we react, respond, and grow from them that truly matters.

its been two years since my 12 y/o self decided to sit down with a microphone and introduce herself to the world- how time flies. over these past two years, and this past year of podcasting in particular, i've learned a lot of lessons, lessons which i share in every episode. today, i go through some of my biggest lessons this year and what they mean to me and how they've shaped the way i view myself, the world, and how i carry myself through it. these are all things i've shared in episodes throughout the year, so consider it a season summary i guess :)
honestly, this podcast means so much to me. its helped me to process my life experiences, take away important lessons from them, and most importantly: grow. on this two-year podcastiversry, i was reminded why i started, and that's because this podcast is not just for you, not just for me, but for us. (hehe get the joke? ;) ) okay, i'll stop with the puns now... but happy two years!!

we all have those weeks where life gets slightly more busy- but these five tips have really helped me to move through these crazy days a little bit better:
tuning into the present
doing smaller tasks ahead of time to maximize time during the week
planning ahead- whether by week, day, or even hour by hour
adopting a go-w/-the-flow mindset
reflecting on your day each night

life is one big balancing act, and today's epi focuses on how we balance all of the roles we play in life. whether familial, platonic, romantic or professional, the fact is that we play lots of different roles in day-to-day life. and in all of the relationships that we're balancing, it can be hard to truly show up as ourselves in all of these different relationships. !!one of the biggest takeaways from today's epi is that showing up as ourselves looks different in every relationship/role!! this is something that i've been working on a lot and am still working on, but i hope this epi serves as a gentle reminder to take a look at the relationships/role you play in life and what it means to show up as yourself in each of them.

we all experience overthinking, to some degree. its so easy to get caught up in our thoughts and speculations that we often can't tell fact from fiction. so what do we do in those moments of going down a rabbit hole of speculation? that's exactly what i talk about in today's episode. i share my experience with overthinking and the steps i take to deal with it moment by moment. give it a listen!love, nandini ❤️

rest. what a word. its one of those things that we hear so much about: "just rest" "rest properly" "rest and reset". we're told that its so important, but what is it? rest, as an action, is so important, whatever that looks like for you, whether it be extra sleep, unwinding, or any other practice. but equally important is your mindset. if your mind is racing, thinking about work, stress, and all the crazy things going on in life, is it really rest? in today's epi, i talk about how i've been rethinking rest and how important this rest mindset has been for my overall well-being.

having bad days, or rough days, is something so universal and human. but getting through them? it’s a hard task to say the least. today, I share some important tools that have helped me to get through the hard days of life, including tuning into the small moments, remembering that I’ve built a support system for myself, and really listening to my self talk. save this episode to come back to wherever you need to hear it! Love, Nandini
i've done past episodes on building a morning routine, but not anything particular about an evening routine, and i felt like its been an episode i've been needing to do. so in this episode, i talk about specific components that you can use to build your ideal evening routine, including timeframe/schedule, putting away electronics, body and mind practices and setting a bedtime. my evening routine has been something that i've found so crucial to my overall well-being lately, so i hope this helps you to build your own!

as teens, identity is a question that is often on our minds. but regardless of your age, it is an important topic to think about, especially self-perception and how that is truly reflected in our day-to-day interactions. in this episode, i dive deep into the question of identity and how self-perception is the key to unlocking a lot of our potential to be the best versions of ourselves. i encourage you to have the hard conversation with yourself about this idea of identity and self-perception, and to reflect on how you can better your relationship with yourself.

happy sunday :) with the past week being an intense one for me, i decided to do a chill episode today where i reflect on some of the small joys i've found in my week. its so important to reflect on these small wins, especially when life gets tough. so take a moment today to think about what made you smile this week, and carry that into this next week.

its a sunny monday morning, and my pod motivation has never been better :) today's episode is about enjoying the journey that we take to reach our goals and the beauty in learning hard lessons. kind of a longer episode, but definitely an important one and one that ive had a lot of experience with. have an amazing week, and remember to smile!!

happy sunday! today, i answer some questions from a recent insta story. its a pretty chill episode, with some good nuggets of info hidden in there. have a great week :)
for most of us, motivation is one of the hardest things to keep, especially throughout the week. today, i share three solid tips that have helped me to combat this motivation drought. from having a sunday practice to writing down your goals to scheduling fun, small little things to do throughout the week, motivation to do the hard work becomes easier as you begin to implement these practices into your daily/weekly routines. have a great week :)
in all honesty, i don't know why i haven't done an episode like this earlier!! when i'm sick, i really try to take it as a sign from my body that i need rest, sleep and hydration. but it can be hard to shift from a productive, grind mindset to one of rest and recovery. so in today's episode, i share some of my best tips on taking care of your physical and mental health while under the weather. save this episode to come back to next time sickness comes your way!!
after months of working on this, i can finally say that i have re-become the priority of my life. so many of us have this point where we come to the realization that we have lost sight of who we are or where we're going in life, and it feels like we're moving backwards. this is when we may feel ourselves losing priority in our own lives. thats where this episode comes into play. the formula that ive found to be effective in my life is this: enforcing boundaries + conscious action+ setting intention moment-to-moment= regaining priority in life.
self doubt is something universal, something that all of us have experienced. while it is tough to overcome, it is possible to do, by acknowledging it, finding its root in your past traumas/experiences, finding a grounding technique that allows the thoughts to pass, and then practicing self-compassion. so yeah, its a lot, but each time you take these steps, you are allowing yourself to accept the past, allow the thoughts to pass in the present, and prevent self doubt in the future.
happy 2023!! with all of this new year goal-setting, resolution-making and motivation in the air, its important to ground ourselves in our truth and remember what we truly want this next year to be like. from channeling this amazing january 1 motivation to the rest of the year to setting an umbrella theme for 2023, this episode is a fun, intentional way to start off this year. lets do 2023 right ;)
if you couldn't tell from the amount of bonus episodes this week, i've been podcasting a lot.... but that also means that there's been a lot on my mind. this episode is pretty jam packed- from romanticizing life to regaining control over our lives to how it all connects to a "reset," its safe to say that i've been doing a lot of thinking lately. expect more episodes to come!!
for some of us, the holidays can bring disappointment, especially with what's been going on with air travel and flight craziness. but as hard as disappointment can get, there is actually so much that we learn about ourselves from the emotion. from uncovering unspoken expectations to hidden intentions, disappointment is actually such a mystery-book type emotion that honestly reveals so much about us. so when we come out of processing this difficult emotion, it is important to dig deeper into where it came from and the expectations behind it.
surprise!! its bonus episode time, and i honestly feel like this episode has been much needed. ive always talked about the importance of having a strong support system, but this episode really explains the key elements of a support system and how to refocus them and turn them into these great tools in your toolbelt of support.
hi everyone! i'm back after a two week hiatus, and ive got to say that i've missed podcasting!! but i've decided to come back strong with a midterms/exam season episode. its pretty short and sweet, but there are some good tips in here for dealing with this stressful season aftermath and how to regain the peace and calm after a period of high stress. stay on the lookout for some bonus episodes this week ;) its good to be back!!
happy late thanksgiving! i hope you had a gratitude-stuffed thanksgiving with a side of intentionality (get my joke?). anyways, this episode is a pretty chill one, with me just sharing some thoughts/reflections from the past week off and starting to get into the mood of winter. have a great week!
in today's episode, i talk about how the small actions we take in a day are a true reflection of who we are. bringing intentionality to these moments are how we can truly grow into the people that we want to be. in this episode, i share the areas in our lives that we can bring this intentionality, and then i share more practical tips as to how we can be aware of these small moments. happy early thanksgiving! (p.s. there may or may not be a bonus thanksgiving episode ;) )
in today's episode, i share practical tips on how we can start to regain control over our social media and technology intake. from using your screen time analytics to limiting notifications to finding an alternate activity, there are so many ways that we can start to reshape the narrative around technology. its also important for us to recognize that while, yes, social media can be used as a tool, we first have to change our relationship with social media/technology before we can start using it as a positive force. we are so addicted to social media and technology that we first have to get out of its control over us, and gain control over it, before we can start to use it in a positive way. have a great week! :)
happy monday! i know i'm posting this episode a day late, but i explain why in the episode. the past few weeks have been just loads of stress for me, and today, i officially reset. i let go of the limiting beliefs that i've developed around myself, around my studying methods and around how i deal with others from the past few weeks, and i share my struggles with time and self-care that i've been going through lately. finally, i talk about how i'm starting to build a new routine for myself and how i'm coming into a new season of my life, and how you can start to recognize the signs of growth if you've been feeling the same way. this is a very vulnerable episode for me, but i hope that you take something away from it!
hi!! :) happy early halloween! in today's episode, i come back to the old confidence conversation, about stepping into our power and embracing ourselves, self-validating, and what to do when we are put down by others. this episode is all about what it means to step into your power and how to do that on a daily basis. this is something that i've been on a personal journey with over the past couple of weeks, and i hope these tips help you as well! im definitely still working towards this goal, but i think sharing my journey and what has helped me will not only help you, but me as well. thanks for listening! <3
hi everyone! i hope you had an awesome week and that you took time to take care of yourself. in today's episode, i share some tips on how to build self-care into your day, how to find one non-negotiable practice, and how to find time for self-care. one of the biggest excuses that we find to not practice self-care is that we "don't have enough time." in reality, we all have the same 24 hours in a day, and while life can get stressful, there will always be a way to take time for yourself, even if its a simple one-minute meditation. the fact is, we do have time, but we need to rethink how we use it.
hi everyone!! :) in today's episode, i share my own experience with winning and losing and what losing really means, and what winning really means. its really not about the title, or the job, or the promotion, or the position, but about what we take away from each experience that really determines a loss or a win. reminding ourselves that our worth is not attached to any title or position is also a huge part of winning or losing. i hope you have an awesome week! :)
in this episode, i chat about all things fall/autumn and how we can welcome this season and what is means to each of us. each season can be a time to recollect ourselves and remind ourselves of our goals and a time to re-motivate ourselves, and in this episode i talk about how we can do that this fall. i also chat about creating our fall vibes and small things that bring me joy in this season. i encourage all of you to take some time today to think about what brings you joy in this season, whether or not you like fall, but to remember that each season brings us so much and that there is so much to appreciate in it. have a great week ;)
i hope y’all had an awesome week!! in today’s episode, i talk about what it means to invest in yourself, and the areas in life where we can do that, including our actions, the decisions we make, the words we speak and the people we spend time around, and our thoughts. these are just a few of the parts in our lives where being intentional is so important, and how the journey of investing in ourselves can lead us to be the best version of ourselves. have an amazing week ✨✨💕💕
hi everyone! :) in this week's episode, i share how i've been working towards my goal on being more myself at school and how you can try implementing those steps in your lives as well. i also talk a little bit about overwhelm and how iv'e been dealing with that lately too. remember to take care of yourself this week!
love,
nandini <3
hi everyone!! hope you had an amazing week! in this episode, i talk about how we often lose track of what our big goals in life are, and how we can remind ourselves of them to keep ourselves on track. this is a constant problem for me at school, so i wanted to share some of my own insight to how im working on this problem and how you can too! have a great week! <3
social media has soooo many ideas for us when it comes to being "aesthetic." from telling us what aesthetic we are to what items we need to have to be aesthetic, we are practically given an image of what a picture perfect aesthetic life is. this is one example of how social media controls our lives. what being "aesthetic" really means is doing, not only having, what makes you happy, and blocking out all other factors telling us what a happy life has to include. living life on your own terms, without social media influencing us, is what living an aesthetic life really means.
happy sunday!! i hope you've had an amazing week, and if you've started school, i hope you had a good start to your school year :) today's episode is kind of a motivational-type episode where i'm literally just ranting about seizing each day, and taking one step each day to get closer toward your goals, whether spiritual, self-care wise, or any other goal you have. doing this will slowly, over time, make us into the person that we want to be. so remember to take this day and think about what you can do today that will get you to where you want to be, whether that means rest, productivity, self-care, or anything else. have an awesome week! ;)
today's episode is super causal, and i don't talk about a particular topic today. today its just me sharing my thoughts, intentions, and feelings about high school, with no filter. i've learned that while change is scary, and hard, and just so hard to get through, that i can get through it, and that you can too. :)
even though this episode isn’t exactly how i anticipated, I still get into a whole lot of good topics and thoughts today. in this episode, I talk about the stigma that we have around wandering minds, letting ourselves go down intellectual rabbit holes and getting into the deep thoughts. its on a spectrum, and it’s more about the quality of our thoughts rather than the idea of going down the rabbit hole at all. I know, its a lot at once, but it’s all explained in this episode, which is all the more reason to listen to it!! Have an awesome week! 💕
in this episode, i talk about how rest differs from laziness and how rest is essential for us, whereas laziness is simply a lack of self discipline. rest is an essential part of self care and plays a huge role in productivity, so regularly giving your body and mind a break can fuel you more once you pick up your work/studying again 💕✨
in this second part of this topic, I talk about what the phrase “you are what you eat” means to me and how healthy eating looks different for everyone. no one diet or lifestyle can work for everyone, and listening to our body is the most important factor in taking care of it. Have a great week 💕💕😊
in today's episode, i talk about my own struggles with practicing self-care when traveling, and how i've learned to make time for self-care in a busy travel schedule, and how to create your own travel routine. hope this helps you, and have an amazing week!!! ;)
In today's episode, I do a lot of housekeeping reminders for the podcast, and talk about some new goals for the podcast. After that, I get into the topic of comparative suffering, and how it shows up in our lives without us realizing it. I talk about what it is, how it manifests, why it's a problem, and how we can fix it. There's a lot in this episode, but it's a good reset episode, and a good topic to bring our attention too. Hope you enjoy! ;)
In today's episode, I get a little bit more personal, and I talk about my experience with dealing with change, and things that have helped me to cope with it. In new, uncomfy situations, it's totally normal to feel anxious, stressed, and even scared, and feel like you just want to cry all the time. Trust me, I've been there. But there are also ways to accept and feel these emotions, and at the same time learn from them to make yourself more adaptable to change.
In today's episode, I talk about how life is ever-changing, and how it comes in seasons (not the four seasons, but like phases or chapters of our lives). These seasons of life are all so different, some are chill and just all positive vibes, while others are when we have to learn hard lessons. But we can get through all of the seasons in life, and most importantly, learn something from each of them. We aren't in control of the seasons of our lives, for the most part, but we are in control of our attitude towards them and how we deal with them. Remember to practice some self-care this week!
Love, Nandini ;)
First of all, let me just say that this episode is so special to me. Having my teachers on this podcast is something I never would have thought I would ever do, but here we are! This conversation is full of amazing thoughts and tips that my teachers share on school life, studying, and overall life lessons that every student needs. While we did run into some technical problems along the way, as I explain, this episode is probably one of my favorites, and I am so thankful to all of my teachers for doing this with me, and for all the wonderful things they share in this episode. Enjoy the episode! :)
In today's episode, I reflect on my middle school experience and talk about my top 10 lessons that I've learned from my middle school experience. I also share some of my thoughts/goals on high school, and how that relates to my middle school lessons. I hope this helps you if you are in/going into middle school, and remember that every moment matters! :)
Happy one year!!! It's been one year since I uploaded the very first episode of this podcast, and in honor of that, I made today's episode a re-intro to me, where I'm at in self-care, and my life since that first episode. This episode is entirely me being awkward, quirky, and deep all at the same time, sharing my thoughts about high school, my personal growth, and other random things about me. It's safe to say that I've grown a lot since the first episode, including in my podcasting skills, and I'm excited to see where else we're going to go with this. Thank you all for the love and support for this podcast, and for helping me reach 1K! Love you all <3
In today's episode, I talk about how we are not in control of every part of our lives, and how we need to learn to accept that everything we plan out may not go as planned. This goes back to staying present and dealing with current challenges, and accepting current blessings in life. Having our routines and our non-negotiable practices is important, but we can't let routine and planning take over our entire life. We have to learn to adapt to new changes, and stay grounded. It's a perfect balance. :)
Happy Mothers Day! In today's episode, I talk about toxic positivity and the differences between true positivity and toxic positivity. I also talk about how toxic positivity and extreme negativity are two extremes of a spectrum, and how we want to create a balance between all of our emotions and validate all of our emotions and experiences. This is a fun episode, so hang on and enjoy the journey!
In today's episode, I share my thoughts and experiences with projection, and how I personally have dealt with it. I also share tips on how to recognize and deal with projection, whether you are projecting onto others or vice versa. In this episode, I also tie projection with validation and how self-validation helps to stop projection.
In today's short-but-sweet episode, I talk about why consistency is so important. In selfcare and every other aspect of life, staying consistent in daily, weekly, or monthly practices is so important in sustaining our growth and keeping us grounded. Even when we feel so unmotivated, when we're having a bad day, and when life is down, our practices ground us, and practicing them consistently will keep us grounded and help us in the present and in the long run.
In today’s episode, I talk about accountability and how it affects our relationships, personal growth, and social life. Accountability is a complicated thing, but when we learn to integrate it into our lives, we become better people in the long run.

Lastly, I share tips on how we can encourage positive self talk to replace negative self talk.

I also talk about how we can create our "selfcare space" and what that looks like physically and mentally. These are two important things in selfcare and growing in your selfcare journey, and I hope you enjoy this episode!
In today’s episode, I share my personal experiences with competing and detaching from results. It seems super cliche, but there is a mental aspect to it which benefits you more than you think.
Today's episode was a fun one! Even though it was vulnerable and raw, it was so good to talk about what individuality is at its core, and learning why we struggle so much with being ourselves. In this episode, I share my thought on what it means to be unapologetically ourselves and the steps we can take to understand who we are and be that person every single day.
Today’s episode answers one of the most common questions about the false ego: what’s the difference between the false ego and self confidence? As an extension of last week’s episode, I talk about what makes an inflated false ego different from self confidence and how to practice self confidence.
The ego has two parts: the false ego and the true ego. The ego, in both parts, is how we identify ourselves, the "I am..." statements. The difference between the false and true ego is that the false ego is identified with external beliefs. The true ego is our core beliefs, the core truth that we believe. The false ego can be either inflated or deflated, and in both situations, the false ego is holding us back from growth. In today's episode, I talk about what the false ego is, and how we can learn to overcome it. Today's episode is one of the deeper ones, but it was a fun one! :)
Made popular through social media, affirmations have become so cliché. But in reality, they can be used as a powerful tool for self-growth. In today's episode, I answer some FAQs about affirmations and debunk some myths about them. I also talk about the basics on how you can use affirmations in your daily life and some examples of it. P.S. Hope you all like the new intro and outro! ;)

It’s so easy to get distracted by our phones, especially in today’s society. But there is hope that we can reframe how we use our phones. Instead of letting our phones and social media take control of us, let’s take control over how we use it. In today’s episode, I talk about things like screen time, app limits and other topics that we can use to reframe our relationships with our phones, and how that benefits us.
Routine doesn’t have to be planning your day out completely, or knowing every single thing that is going to happen in that day. That’s not in our control. What routine really is is establishing some kind of structure in your day, something that you do consistently, whether it is reading a book before you go to sleep, or having a small skincare routine for the morning that you do every day. Having a routine is something that is very personalized, so find what works for you, what practice you want to incorporate into your daily life. Today I share some tips on how to set a routine that works for you and why it is so important.
When we judge others, it is usually entirely based on outer appearance. What we don’t realize is that very often, the very things we judge others on reflect our own insecurities. Today, I talk about how we can learn to do our own inner work, and how that can limit us from judging others. As we become more self confident and caring, that vibe spreads.
When we’re angry, we are blinded by this rush of hatred or sadness or pain. We think crazy thoughts, say crazy things, and do crazy things. That’s all normal. But the impulse that we get from anger, to do all of these crazy things, distracts us from the mindfulness that we are trying to achieve. Today I talk about how we can reflect and learn from our anger and how we can become more mindful about it.
