We were very excited to start this drama because we’re Sci-Fi fans, but unfortunately it didn’t quite work for us. This is a very special episode because we will be talking about Love Between Fairy and Devil our first xianxia. We were a little hesitant to start this show because it was a high fantasy and the length scared us a bit but were so glad we gave it a chance. We’re back with another drama from our watch challenge. This month we decided to watch the Thai version of Put Your Head On My Shoulder. This drama is based off of the same novel that the Chinese version is but apparently they have slightly different stories. We weren’t sure how this drama was going to be after the first few episodes but it turned out very enjoyable. This show is pretty lighthearted and fun and we ended up really enjoying it and we hope you enjoy listening!

We haven’t seen a lot of Chinese dramas but we really haven’t seen many Chinese historical dramas so we weren’t sure what to expect. But it turned out to be even better then we thought it would. This show is also very unique because it’s main character has a disability and it was really cool to see how they showed and delt with that throughout the story. This drama is a little different than what we usually watch because it’s a slice of life and it’s episodic. This drama has a very different atmosphere than a lot of dramas we watch so it was very refreshing to watch. We liked many different aspects of this drama, including the characters, setting, pacing, coffee, and life lessons. So this is a very exciting episode because it is our one year anniversary! It’s so hard to believe it’s already been one year since we started this podcast but it has been a very fun year! We have learned a lot this past year and have challenged ourselves a lot along the way but we enjoy it so much. We love a good mystery and it was our first time watching a drama this a time loop like this together. We are already trying to figure out who’s the perpetrator and have a few guesses already. This is the only one that either of us have seen from the Philippines so we were very excited to watch it! Isa Pa With Feelings is a very well done movie and we really enjoyed it. It was the first live action we’ve seen with a deaf character and we think they did an amazing job with it. It was really interesting going from a show like Happiness to this. It was very fun to watch a nice full on RomCom. The first two episodes were very enjoyable and we had a lot of fun talking about them. We talk about the two best friends, weird coworkers, handsome ceo and his Park Seo Joon-esque hair, way too pretty secretary, and the best dressed grandpa ever!! We hope you enjoy!

This is the third episode of our 12 Month Challenge! We are very sorry this episode is a week late but its finally here! The drama we picked for March was the 2021 drama Happiness. If you don’t already know for our 12 month challenge we split it into two categories, 6 regions and 6 genres. Each month we alternate between genre and region. In March we decided on thriller as our genre which is very different for us. We were very surprised that we actually really enjoyed this drama. We were very skeptical at first but this drama really grew on us. We talk a lot about the characters and how they change and develop throughout the show. Today we have a very special episode! We’re talking about our experience going to our very first kpop concert! We went to see ONEUS during their US Blood Moon Tour. This episode we’re talking about the 2021 Jdrama, Can’t Run Away From Love. It has been a little while since we’ve watching a Jdrama so we were very excited to start! The is the first episode of our 12 Month Challenge! This months genera was period so we picked the 2018 drama, The Hymn of Death. This show was a bit different for us since we tend to be drawn toward more light hearted shows. This drama was a very interesting watch and we had many things to discuss. This week we are taking a short break from kdramas and talking about some Studio Ghibli films. Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation studio that is known worldwide for their films.
