It's been a while since we've done a first impressions but we're back with another one and this time it's about 18 Again. This Kdrama is actually based on the 2009 Zac Efron movie 17 Again. We had fun watching the first two episode and give a few of our predictions for the rest of the drama. We hope you enjoy listening!

This week we’re talking about the 2023 drama Tell Me That You Love Me. This drama initially caught our eye because we know the lead actress and it sounded like an interesting concept. We quite enjoyed this drama until about half way through or so and then we weren’t quite sure anymore. Even though we ended up with pretty mixed feelings we hope you enjoy listening!
Today we’re finally doing an episode on Splash Splash Love. We have already seen this drama multiple times but somehow we’ve never talked about it on the podcast until now. There are a lot of different elements in this drama that we talk about throughout this episode including the setting, history, music references, character development, food, romance, and more! Unfortunately this week we're back with another dropped episode. We were really looking forward to this show especially because Park Hyung Sik is in it and we haven't seen him in anything in a while. This drama had a very good beginning but somehow got lost part way through which was really disappointing. We hope you enjoy listening!

We’re back with a movie this week, Concrete Utopia. We had been wanting to watch this movie for so long now and it finally became available in North America. We don’t usually go for disaster movies but it was a very interesting watch. Even though there are quite a few shows exploring human nature this one still was able to be unique in it’s portrayal. This week we're reviewing another recent drama, My Demon. This drama had some very odd aspects for us. We really loved some parts but got so tired of some other we skipped past them. We hope you enjoy listening!
We’re back with our first drama that finished airing in 2024! This drama takes quite a few tropes/themes like friends to lover, love triangle, and small town and portrays them in their own unique way. We weren’t quite sold in the first few episodes of this drama but really grew to enjoy it as we went and we hope you enjoy listening!
We finally got to rewatch Scarlet Heart! It was really interesting watching this show again after multiple years and many dramas in between. Since it was our second watch we really got to look at the characters and their relationships in a new way. We’re so glad we finally got to review this drama so we hope you enjoy listening!

The drama we’re reviewing this week is the Jdrama Takane and Hana. This drama is based on a manga and is a very fun story. It’s a pretty short show and is a nice easy watch. We hope you enjoy listening!
Sorry we’ve been gone for so long but we’re finally back with another episode. Today we’re talking about the post-apocalyptic Kdrama Black Night. We were very excited to start this drama because we’re Sci-Fi fans, but unfortunately it didn’t quite work for us. The drama had a lot of potential but just didn’t do the story justice in our opinion. Even though this review isn’t quite as fun we hope you still enjoy listening!

We’ve had a lot of stuff going on recently so unfortunately we were never able to record a full review of this show but we still wanted to share some of our thoughts on it. Today we’re talking about the 2021 Japanese drama The 3Bs You Shouldn’t Date. This drama is very cheesy and lighthearted which made it a very easy watch. If you’re looking for a good serious romance this show isn’t it but it’s was still a fun in it’s own way. We hope you enjoy listening!
It's been forever since we've done a first impressions episode but we're finally bringing it back with Summer Strike. We just stumbed across this drama and had no idea what to expect. It turns out so far it's a really nice mix of slice of life, some drama, and a little mystery. We're really liking this drama so far and we hope you enjoy listening!
We once again decided to rewatch a show and this time it was The Bride of Habaek. We haven't seen this show in a few years and honestly didn't remember that much about it. In the end it unfortunately didn't turn out how we thought it would. We hope you enjoy listening!

We are finally back with a new episode! So sorry we haven’t uploaded anything for about 2 months, we just got super busy but we’re excited to be back! This is a very special episode because we will be talking about Love Between Fairy and Devil our first xianxia. We were a little hesitant to start this show because it was a high fantasy and the length scared us a bit but were so glad we gave it a chance. We ended up loving every second of this show and even though this episode is over two hours I’m not sure if we did it justice. Even though this episode is really long we hope you enjoy listening!

This drama turned out be really funny and not take it self seriously at all which made it work. We had a lot of fun talking about this one and we hope you enjoy listening!
Today we’re talking about the short Kdrama Once Upon a Small Town. We decided to start this drama because it sounded like a nice slice of life. This drama was pretty straight forward but that was part of what made it enjoyable. We hope you enjoy listening!

We only had one genre left on our list and it turned out to be Crime/Mystery. We were supposed to watch a different drama but unfortunately we don’t have access to it anymore so we ended up stumbling upon this one. This show has a interesting mix of genres and we talk a lot about the characters, pacing, mysteries, and more. We hope you enjoy listening!
This week we’re talking about the new movie 20th Century Girl. We really didn’t know what to expect when we started this movie but it turned out really good. It was such a good romance and we really liked the characters. We really liked this movie and we hope you enjoy listening!
Today we’re talking about the 2021 Chinese drama Emperor or Boss. We found this drama because the male lead from The Killer Is Also Romantic is in this one and we wanted to see more of his stuff. This drama wasn’t the best we’ve ever seen but it was a quick and fun watch. We hope you enjoy listening!
We’re back with another drama from our watch challenge. This month we decided to watch the Thai version of Put Your Head On My Shoulder. This drama is based off of the same novel that the Chinese version is but apparently they have slightly different stories. We weren’t sure how this drama was going to be after the first few episodes but it turned out very enjoyable. This show is pretty lighthearted and fun and we ended up really enjoying it and we hope you enjoy listening!
Today we’re talking about the short Chinese drama The Killer Is Also Romantic. We haven’t seen a lot of Chinese dramas but we really haven’t seen many Chinese historical dramas so we weren’t sure what to expect. But it turned out to be even better then we thought it would. We really enjoyed the comedy, costumes, and the characters and it was a nice and easy watch. We had a lot of fun talking about it and we hope you enjoy listening.

We were really looking forward to seeing Ji Chang Wook in another drama and he did not disappoint. We unfortunately have mixed feelings about this show and it ended up being pretty different then what we expected. We hope you enjoy listening!
This episode we’re talking about Racket Boys which is the ninth drama of our year long challenge. This month we had to pick from our genre list and we decided on comedy. This is the first Korean sport drama we’ve seen so we were very excited to start it. This drama was so fun and a nice change of pace. This week we are actually on vacation which is why this episode is a little late. The drama we’re talking about is To. Jenny which is a short 2 episode drama. This is a music drama so we were very excited to see what they’d do with the music and they didn’t disappoint. This week we’re talking about the 2017 Korean movie Confidential Assignment. This episode is the very first time that we have a guest with us! Since we watched the movie all together we somehow convinced my dad to join us for this episode! We decided to watch this movie in prep for Confidential Assignment 2 coming out, which we are definitely looking forward to. We had a lot of fun with our very first guest and we hope you enjoy listening.
This week we’re talking about the 2015 Japanese drama My Little Lover. This drama has a funny concept but it turned out to be really cute. We discussed all different things like the adaptations, characters, visuals, clothing, and much more. This drama was really innocent and fun and we hope you enjoying listening to us talk about it!
This week we are talking about Triad Princess which is the eighth drama of our year long challenge! This month we had to pick from our regions list and decided on Taiwan. We haven’t seen many Taiwanese dramas so we were looking forward to it. This drama turned out a little bit different then what we were hoping. Today we are talking about the popular kdrama Extraordinary Attorney Woo. We haven’t seen many legal dramas at all so it was interesting seeing how they portrayed the cases in this drama. This show is also very unique because it’s main character has a disability and it was really cool to see how they showed and delt with that throughout the story. We also shared our thoughts one a season two for this show so make sure you stick through to the end to hear what we think!
We are back this week and today we’re talking about the 2021 kdrama Would You Like A Cup of Coffee? This drama is a little different than what we usually watch because it’s a slice of life and it’s episodic. This drama has a very different atmosphere than a lot of dramas we watch so it was very refreshing to watch. We liked many different aspects of this drama, including the characters, setting, pacing, coffee, and life lessons. We had fun talking about all the little details that made this drama work and we hope you enjoy listening!
Today we are talking about the seventh drama of our year long challenge. This month we had to pick from our genres list and decided on Sci-Fi which meant we were finally watching The Silent Sea! We were really looking forward to seeing this drama because we have never seen a Korean Sci-Fi drama! This drama also had thriller and mystery elements which kept it very interesting. We found this drama super interesting to talk about and we hope you enjoy listening.
Today we are talking about our thoughts on the second season of Yumi’s Cells. After doing an episode talking about our first impressions of this season we were very interested to see where it went. Some aspects we expected and others kept us guessing about what would happen next. Overall we really enjoyed this season and the first one as well. We enjoyed talking about the different relationships, the multiple breakups, our predictions, and the ending. We hope you enjoy listening!

We’ve been thinking about doing episodes on specific actors and actresses and we decided to go ahead and try it! We have seen Park Seo Joon in 9 different things including dramas and shows. So we’ve seen him in a lot of different roles which is what we are talking about this episode. This was very different for us but we hope you enjoy listening!
This week we are finally doing another first impressions! We watched the first two episodes of Yumi’s Cells 2 and are enjoying it so far! A lot of kdramas don’t have more then one season so it’s a slightly different experience. The first two episodes were very good and had the same feel as the first season. There were some things we didn’t expect and we are looking forward to see what is gonna happen next!
We are very sorry this episode is a day late, but we are finally talking about the 2022 Kdrama Thirty Nine. We were very excited to watch this drama because there are multiple people we know in it and they did not disappoint. There are so many different aspects that make this show so good and so believable. We are so glad we watched this show and we hope you enjoying listening to our thoughts on it!

We were very excited to watch this show and are glad we saw it just in time for season two! This show is very unique because of how it has the cells and uses animation for them. So this is a very exciting episode because it is our one year anniversary! It’s so hard to believe it’s already been one year since we started this podcast but it has been a very fun year! We have learned a lot this past year and have challenged ourselves a lot along the way but we enjoy it so much. This podcast has become our outlet for sharing our love of Asian dramas and we are so glad that we are able to do that and that we’ve made some amazing friends along the way! We thought it would be fun to talk a little about the behind the scenes of making the podcast and recording and stuff. Also we decided to take a trip down memory lane and talk about our favorite, least favorite, and some other past episodes. This week we talked about the 2022 Kdrama The Sound of Magic. We were very excited to watch this drama because of the music and that we’d be see Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Youp in another drama! There were a few different elements to this drama like the magic, music, visuals, and the mystery. One of our favorite parts was the music and how they used it to tell the story. This drama was a very interesting watch and we hope you enjoy listening!

We love a good mystery and it was our first time watching a drama this a time loop like this together. We are already trying to figure out who’s the perpetrator and have a few guesses already. The characters in this show are super interesting and we really enjoyed talking about each and every one. This drama is so good so far and it was very fun to talk about so we hope you enjoy listening!
This is the fourth episode of our 12 Month Challenge! This month we picked from our regions list and we decided on Isa Pa With Feelings which is from the Philippines. This is the only one that either of us have seen from the Philippines so we were very excited to watch it! If you don’t already know our 12 Month Challenge is split into two categories, 6 regions and 6 genres. Every month we will switch between the two lists and pick a show to watch that month. Isa Pa With Feelings is a very well done movie and we really enjoyed it. It was the first live action we’ve seen with a deaf character and we think they did an amazing job with it. This show has a few different elements that we talk about like the music, dialogue, acting, and emotion. We really enjoyed talking about this movie and we hope you enjoy listening!
Today we are talking about our final thoughts on A Business Proposal! We really enjoyed this show and had lots of different thoughts on it. We talked quite a bit about the two main couples and how we thought they were very different from each other. How we enjoyed seeing some of the actors in this show and how different their role was from others. What our thoughts are on the ending. Today we are talking about our first impressions of A Business Proposal. We are just talking about the first two episodes today and wow they were so fun! It was really interesting going from a show like Happiness to this. It was very fun to watch a nice full on RomCom. The first two episodes were very enjoyable and we had a lot of fun talking about them. We talk about the two best friends, weird coworkers, handsome ceo and his Park Seo Joon-esque hair, way too pretty secretary, and the best dressed grandpa ever!! We hope you enjoy!
This is the third episode of our 12 Month Challenge! We are very sorry this episode is a week late but its finally here! The drama we picked for March was the 2021 drama Happiness. If you don’t already know for our 12 month challenge we split it into two categories, 6 regions and 6 genres. Each month we alternate between genre and region. In March we decided on thriller as our genre which is very different for us. We were very surprised that we actually really enjoyed this drama. We were very skeptical at first but this drama really grew on us. We talk a lot about the characters and how they change and develop throughout the show. Also we talk about our personal pros and cons of the show overall. We ended up talking for quite a while but we hope you enjoy!
Today we are talking about the 2020 web drama XX. This is the first time we’re reviewing a web series and we really enjoyed talking about it. This shows had a lot of good things in it like the characters, pacing, overall theme, and more. We really enjoyed being able to talk in a little more detail this series is much sorter then what we typically watch. We had lots of fun talking about it and we hope you enjoy!

Today we have a very special episode! We’re talking about our experience going to our very first kpop concert! We went to see ONEUS during their US Blood Moon Tour. This was an amazing experience and it was just so so fun! We decided to release this episode as a special episode and there may be more special episodes in the future so keep your eyes out. The is the first episode of our 12 Month Challenge! This months genera was period so we picked the 2018 drama, The Hymn of Death. This show was a bit different for us since we tend to be drawn toward more light hearted shows. This drama was a very interesting watch and we had many things to discuss.
