He cross-pollinates Americana genres, blending folk, blues, bluegrass, rockabilly and country-blues music with an occasional jazz chord. When Traum performs he brings a warmth to the stage and puts on a well-polished show, whether he is playing as a solo artist at an intimate house concert or for a festival crowd backed by his potent band. Adam’s influences include Ry Cooder, Taj Mahal, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Mississippi John Hurt and Rev. Gary Davis, to name a few. Frederico Ciosi Franciosi or Ciosi is an Acoustic guitarist flatpicker “Mediterranean” and singer endowed with a voice blues from the tones vintage amalgamates his own vocal style to the acoustic guitar that plays with mouth harmonica and table-neck. The repertoire of Ciosi founds him on original passages and on the reinterpretazione of the great teachers of the American folk where languages flatpickings are run after, blugrass, country, percussive, blues, country, pop soul, ever-green, love songs, melodies and silences, in a long trip. Beyond the labels, in his production and on-stage the approach of Ciosi is a little predictable and is difficult to know what he can reserve, it makes to converse in splendid harmony the melodic taste and the virtuous invention, it cultivates the imaginary one some popular music. Beautiful testimony of style, class and passion.
