when life gives you wild grasses, what do you gonna to do? After learning from many sources, and still learning for sure, I have no throw away wild grasses or trimmed leaves from my garden.
Those things can be good nutrition for plants. But we need to make the as a compost first. When the amount of wild grasses really abundance, we need to separate them from the alive plants. I mean, we should bury those grasses in a special container with soil. Wait for couple next to make them all became like soil mixture.
Usually, I burried those grasses and trimmed leaves into a big pot or big polybag before I use those pot and polybag to grow plants.

With beautiful smile, I stared my green bean plants. They already big enough to transfer into growing bags.
Today, really hot and I did this things quickly. Hope these green beans can be growing better than the previous green season (failed season π€£)
Before, I have failure to grow green beans until harvest because the fruits not developt bigger. The plants are not in right spot, I was put them in less area of sunlight. My bad!
So, for this season, I changed the place. With better full sunlight area. See you on my green beans update!

Cauliflower is type of expensive vegetable in my city. So, it is a blessing when we can planted cauliflower plant. I am glad I can planting cauliflower plants and taking care those of them well.
Before, my one cauliflower plant just harvested, and the other one just damage with purple color on the head of the cauliflower.

In Indonesia with high intensity of sunlight, also dried land, water spinach is great option for easy-to grow-vegetables. Easy to grow, that is why in the market the price of water spinach (kangkong) is really cheap here.
Water spinach also can be grow easily with no fertilizer. Also can be harvest within 3-4 weeks. Short time rather than other type of veggies.
So for those reasons, we can use water spinach to maximize the land. Better to plant the land with water spinach than just empty and fulfilled with wild grass. π

Red chili plants are must have planted in Indonesian garden. Because Indonesian people use a lot of red chilies for daily seasoning in the kitchen.
I am glad my red chili plants can bearing nice chilies and now they are ready to harvest!
The price about $2-$4 perkilogram so I really grateful to have them in my garden! For daily use in my kitchen, at least 1/4 kg.

Did you know about the type of hard texture bananas? In my city called Kepok Bananas. For this type of banana, usually served by cooking first not for raw consume. People in general serving Kepok Banana bu frying with coated flour and using more oil. Since that method is not healthy at all so I am thinking about the another way.
Using an air fryer is a great option or an oven, or if you have no both air fryer or oven, you can simply just use nom stick pan fry.
The combination of palm sugar and cheese create yummy caramelized bananas! π
The Ingredients Kepok Bananas* or Hard texture ripe bananas * 2-5 tablespoons of smooth-texture palm sugar * 2 tablespoons of butter (I use margarine)

My garden gave me more and more basil, also tomatoes. So, this time I decided to make Tofu Basil And Tomatoes With Sweet Spicy Sauce.
Besides tofu, you can also use tempeh, or more protein ingredients you have. Just adjust some ingredients and voila!
The ingredients:* 100-150 grams of tofu, cut into pieces * 3 tomatoes, cut into pieces * a handful of basil, or according to your taste preferance * enough corn flour to coat the tofu before frying tofu
seasoning
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 5 small cloves of res onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp of sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of chili sauce or tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp pf pepper

Can't believe I did this! Using a cracker, my mind just think randomly on my food plating activity before take picture of my cooking results.
I use a local cracker made from yellow noodle-rounded shape. This one is my fav cracker. So, the result became stunning.

Pomegranate is one of superfood. Rich antioxidants for heart health. Then, pomegranate is really useful to reduce high blood pressure.
Pomegranate is good to consume raw for juice, or the sauce for salad dressing. Or just eat pomegranate seeds with no processing way.
Maybe you will be difficult to find this fruit. But once you found it, no need to be confusing to open the fruit and remove the seeds.

In the afternoon with cloudy day, I go to rice fields to search for fresh air. Anyway, I have flu in the couple days ago. But now I'm okay. So with fresh air I feel free and finally I can breath well! Oh, this is just perfect. Even simple but I apprecieted and feel blessed. How health life can be so expensive for us.
When I saw the water for rice field irrigation, I feel happy. I decided to play with the water. The water looks clear and clean. Fortunately, no plastic. Yeay!

This time shopping, I'm focusing on buying red fruits! I go to a modern market in my city.
My first red fruit list is Pomegranate. After long time, finally I can found Pomegranate. I'm so happy!
Anyway, I never imagine before that Pomegranate has expensive price! I thought because in my country is difficult to find that plant by now.
For half of kilogram Pomegranate, I paid almost $6. Just contain 2 Pomegranate with medium size. But I think this price is worthy because the stock itself is difficult to find.
Next, in my red fruit list, I will buy dragon fruit. The price is about $1 for 0.6 kilogram. How the price of dragon fruit in your city if you can found one there?

Still really sunny day but I want to eat fresh sweet creamy soup.
Big chayote and sweet corn in my kitchen gave me the new idea. I think that's good idea to combaine them.
Well, first thing I do, I have to make sure if people outhere has did similar combination. That's really great people out there did similar idea!
So, here the ingredients for 2-3servings:
- A half of big chayote (you can also use baby chayote about 2-3 chayote)
- 1 sweet (you can also use canned kernels for about 1/2 cup.)
- 1 clove of garlic, sliced
- (optional) red onion
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of pepper
- 300 ml of coconut milk or another type of plant-based milk
- 100 ml of water

When I go to Medan City for a family business, I have free time while waiting. So, I decided to stop at a restaurant inside the mall.
Before entering the restaurant, I googled the prices of the restaurant with comfortable menu for me. Also, the prices are reasonable in the mall.
I choose Mentari Restaurant. They serve Indonesian traditional food. With a homey restaurant design.
For order, I ordered Soto Betawi with Teh Tarik. Soto Betawi is a type of traditional soup from the city of Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. I love this type of soup, with coconut milk gravy. I hope you enjoy my video!

Welcome to my another coffee shop journey! This time I will share with you the video about a beautiful and unique coffee shop in Batam City. A coffee shop adjacent to the sea. This coffee shop called Pirates Coffee.
As the name suggests, this coffee shop is completely pirate themed! At the entrance gate, we can already feel the vibes of the pirates. My arrival there was greeted by a sunny day. Beautiful blue sky!
The place is really wide. The decoration is filled with wood and fishing nets materials. Some tables are designed exactly like a wooden boat.
Another interesting thing is that we can see an iconic bridge in Batam City, Barelang Bridge. A cool bridge that we must see when visiting Batam City. So, this place is actually a recommended place to visit to drink coffee and enjoy the beautiful view around! Pirates Coffee is really cool. Trust me! πππ

Welcome July! I'm going to invite you guys to follow me on my bike for the first time in July. I'm using a folding bike.
This time I am cycling around rice fields. I cycle before sunset. Oh, the sky is really looks beautiful.
Now is the rice planting season. Seen the farmers began to plant rice. Some areas are seen to have been planted with rice and the rice is starting to thrive.
You can also see lots of birds looking for food in the rice fields where there are lots of fish.
I like the rice field area which has fresh air and shoothing green scenery as far the eye can see.
Before returning home, I stopped to rest. I drank non sugar orange juice (I made at home before going to bike). Oh, how refreshing!
