Teal Report is a podcast created by a fan for the fans of the San Jose Sharks who compete in the National Hockey League.
In each episode I lookback on each month that has taken place in the current regular season, We also on the show run down the month’s fixtures of our AHL affiliates the San Jose Barracuda and take a look around the Western Conference to see if our fellow rivals have anything newsworthy for us
It has been a long and painful season for all of us in teal but it's time to finally put it to rest in the Season 6 finale...
It's a busy show that starts with us reviewing the year that has gone by along with all of the stats that the Sharks made across the 2023/24 season
Next up we look at if any of the predicitions that I made for our division rivals came true and as you'll see I didn't do as well as I did last year
Then it's time for annual recap of this season for Teal Report which saw our special show on the AHL Classic and a big milestone for us as we launched our sister show covering PWHL Minnesota
And we close the show with some details about our plans for Season 7
Rest up well my fellow Sharks fans as a brighter future is ahead and I'll see you in October for Season 7
The Sharks returned in teal to end what has been a miserable campaign which saw us lock up the best odds in the Draft Lottery but the main thing to takeaway is that there will still be a next year in The Tank and that's something that not everyone can say
Before we begin the show I can't hide my delight at the worst coach in San Jose Sharks history David Quinn was finally made to walk the plank if only he could have taken the Barracuda's with him
We then looback on the final month which saw Devin Cooley finally get his first win in the NHL and the Sharks have waited three years to win in Seattle and with his help the Sharks now have wins in every NHL barn
Cuda Corner closes this year as we wrap up a miserable year which like last year concluded with a back to back series in Tucson
And we look ahead to the Stanley Cup playoffs by previewing the series in the Western Conference as my heart rules my head in making the prediction off who's going to the finals

In this ermergency episode of Teal Report we give you my honest raw gut wrenching emotional reaction to the relocation of the Arizona Coyotes to Utah where they will play at the Delta Center next yearAs someone who has been through this with the Oakland A's I know exactly how Coyotes fans feel and I'm here for you if you need any emotional supportBut we must look on the positives and that there's a chance the Desert Dogs could be reactivated and I will play my part in helping you get hockey back to the DesertStay Strong Yotes fans, stay strong
Just when you thought this season it couldn't get any worse for us in Teal Town it did as the Trade Deadline saw a major blow delivered as Tomas Hertl who had an eight year contract was dealt to none other than our archnemesis
After letting off steam about that inital trade we also take a look at how the entire week of the Trade Deadline panned out as several teams bolstered their rosters ahead of the playoffs
And in Cuda Corner while the Barracuda may have been eliminated from the Calder Cup playoffs they actually got some flavour in their games of the month of March with two sets of back to backs with Central Divsion teams Texas & Rockford

With the All Star Weekend and the return of the bye break things are turned upside down in the latest edition of Teal Report...
First up we lookback on the entire month in one go as our brand new third jerseys made their debut and as I thought they changed my mind after seeing them on the ice
Next up we skip the WestWatch and instead recap everything that happened at this year's event in Toronto and luckily for me our all star Tomas Hertl landed on Team McDavid which was where my backing was going
And finally we head to Cuda Corner as Nathan Todd shined brightly as he is starting to gain support to call him up to the big leagues
Email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com
The stars were aligned at Tech CU Arena for the 2024 AHL Classic which saw San Jose get to shine as the thriving hockey market that it is...
On the 4th February the Skills Competition took place which saw the Western Conference win by 18-13 with players from the Central & Pacific Divisions winning three of the events
On the 5th February it was a tense All Star Challenge with all but one of the seven games decided by either one goal or finishing a tie but in the end the Pacific wins for the second year in a row
As well as looking back on all of the action I also run down the rosters of all four division's all stars and give my reaction on the jerseys worn over the weekend
And finish off this special by reading a special news article that the AHL published regarding San Jose hosting the event
It was a day we weren't sure if it was ever going to come but our captain Logan Couture finally returned to the lineup and it was like he had never been away as 2024 got off to quite a rollercoaster of a start as there are slow signs of improvements
Cuda Corner however was filled with misery as it was a very tough month for the Barracuda which saw them go on a nine game losing streak including their two day break in Charlotte which they went to for the first time since 2015
This month's edition of the WestWatch proved to be quite eventful as Seattle gave me my favourite Winter Classic, Anaheim got involved in a sticky trade with the Flyers and the PWHL silenced the doubters with record breaking attendance
Email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com
I've always thought that one day this team might be the death of me and as 2023 came to a close that is exactly what the Sharks tried to do with having to bring some stellar perfromances coming back multiple times
Over at Cuda Cornner it was less stressful for me however for the Barracuda it was no rest for the week as the majority of their December fixtures were back to back something that needs to be seriously addressed for a development league
Amd on this month's WestWatch we vent at The Sphere being awarded the last ever NHL Draft, pick our jaws off the floor from Craig Berube's shock firing by the Blues and warm our hearts at Abbostsford's good deeds
Don't forget our sister show Purple Reign has now launched covering everything going on in the PWHL for Minnesota, listen wherever you get your podcasts
Email us at Tealreportpodcast@gmail.com
The puck drop on the inagural season of the Professional Womens Hockey League and this bonus edition of Teal Report sees us introduce our brand new sister show Purple Reign...
Purple Reign will officially launch in January 2024 and will be focusing on PWHL Minnesota who I will be supporting, the show will be based on our Cuda Corner segment from the main show
We also talk the reason behind why I'm backing Minnesota and explain how the show will work when we hit the ground running
Also we provide your first listen to the theme tune for Purple Reign
Welcome to the family PWHL Minnesota
The Sharks got royally canucked in November as they hit an almighty new low with back to back games where they gave up ten goals and whilst the team finally got some wins there's still a lot of improvement needed
Over in Cuda Corner the Barracuda had multiple firsts including their first ever victories over both the Calgary Wranglers and Coachella Valley Firebirds and saw the Charlotte Checkers for the first time since their inagural season
This month's WestWatch sees us check in on how Minnesota fared in Stockholm, try not to laugh at the surname of Edmonton's new coach and thanks to the Golden Brats I reveal where my party colors lie
Well, well, well in all my years I don't think I can recall a worse start to the San Jose Sharks season as they come away from the first month of the 2023/24 season without a single win
It was relevantly quiet in terms of news from our conference but the WestWatch is open for business as we recap the Battle of Alberta going outdoors, disdain at Vegas' banner ceremony and go to the PWHL for some exciting news from Minnesota
Over on Cuda Corner the Barracuda met some old friends that they hadn't seen since the 2017/18 season the Blackhawks affiliates Rockford Ice Hogs before facing tough tests from Henderson and Coachella Valley
Email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com
The dust has now finally settled on our fifth anniversary and we return to business as usual as the 2023/24 season is just around the corner
But before we return to the main action its time for our preseason show where coming up we take a look at the Sharks 2023 preseason which saw us dominate Vegas however it was mixed fortunes over our SoCal neighbours
Also on the show back by popular demand we make our predictions as to how our Pacific Division oppenents will fare this season and finish the show with somethig new by setting goals for San Jose for the year ahead
Email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com
The festivities of our fifth anniversary are done and dusted and it's time to get back to business as usual for Season 6 of Teal Report as San Jose gears up for the 2024 AHL All Star Classic
Don't forget you can get in touch with us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you
The Season 5 finale has finally arrived which means its time for one last hurrah before all of the festivities of our fifth anniversary comes to an end and then its back to business as usual next year...
Coming up we look at the statistics for the San Jose Sharks throughout the 2022/23 season as the Evolve Era didn't get off to the best of starts we also recap the San Jose Barracuda's first year at their own home in Tech CU Arena
Then it's time to see how well I did at the predictions that were made at the start of the season for each of our Pacific Division rivals and I think I didn't do that bad of a job
We'll round off the show with the annual reminisce of the past season for our show and this year it is extra special given our anniversary and we have a special announcement for something we have planned for next season
Thank you all dear listeners not just for this season but for the last five years I couldn't have done it without you so have a lovely summer and I'll see you all in October for Season 6
Don't forget to get in touch with us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com
I'm in a bad mood with both Colorado teams as the Avalanche were responsible for ending the Sharks win streak whilst the Eagles killed the Barracuda's chances of making it into this year's Calder Cup Playoffs as they miss out by the slimist of margins
We will digest all of the highs, lows and heartbreak in the final set of Lookbacks and Cuda Corner of the season as the action winds down as both teams first season of the Evolve and Resurgence Eras come to a close
The WestWatch is finally back as we look ahead to the Stanley Cup Playoffs by previewing the Western Conference and make that bold prediction on who will represent our conference in the Stanley Cup Finals come June
And we finish the show with the final trip down Teal Lane as we reminisce on our preseason show which has become a recent edition to the podcast
Don't forget you can send us your thoughts by emailing us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you
We start the show with the second half of my trip which not only featured the Blues and Capitals but also saw me finally get my first taste of AHL hockey as the Barracuda took on Ontario and Coachella Valley
As well as all of that we will lookback on the whole of March where I will be voicing my displeasure of James Reimer's actions during Hockey Night For Everyone and over in Cuda Corner our playoff hopes went on life support as so many back to backs ended in split results instead of maximum points
Once again the WestWatch sits out as we bring back a segment we did last season looking back on all of the blockbuster moves made during the Trade Deadline which this year happened whilst I was away
Finally we take our penultimate trip down Teal Lane where this time we reminisce on the developments of our webseries Teal Report Vids which you can check out o my official YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLltAB8OXPJaUGYpWDeWlQ-3gAtgmMk2Kk
We would love to hear from you send us your thoughts at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com and we could be reading them out on the show
Finally my long awaited return trip to San Jose had arrived and I couldn't be more excited to get back out there to the Tank for some amazing action at the Tank as the first half of the trip featured Predators, Blackhawks and Canadiens where I also witnessed history as Patrick Marleau became the first Shark to have their number hoisted to the rafters in a very special and long day
But before all of that we lookback on a month full of heartbreak for the Sharks as the theme of the year so close and yet so far really took its toll this month whilst things weren't any easier for the Barracuda as Cud Corner recpas a testing month for them as well
This month the WestWatch is ditched in favour of recapping all the fun of the 2023 NHL All Star Weekend which took place at FLA Live Arena the home of the Florida Panthers
We finish the show with another trip down Teal Lane where this time we reminisce on the development of Cuda Corner and how we were finally able to bring the San Jose Barracuda to our show
Don't forget you can send us your thoughts by emailing us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you and read out your thoughts on the show
Make sure to tune in to next month's show for the remainder of my trip which featured the Blues & Capitals plus my first ever Barracuda games as they took on the Reign & Firebirds
I finally got back out to San Jose CA and loved every second of it and miss being there dearly...In this bonus episode of Teal Report I bring you a travel diary of my adventures from February 22-March 5 2023Some of the highlights include being at Patrick Marleau's Retirement Night, exploring the Winchester Mystery House and finally getting to see my first ever Barracuda games
For only the second time in my now fourteen years as a shark the team played on New Year's Day as the first month of 2023 was frustrating as so many wins slipped through our grasp despite one common theme and that was San Jose constantly being persisitent with the puck at the net meanwhile in Cuda Corner it was a mixed bag as they managed to snap their eight game losing streak from last month and paid their first visit to Coachella Valley
Over on the WestWatch we moan at Vegas being picked over Vancouver as the Kraken's oppenents at next year's Winter Classic, share our delight at the Battle of Alberta going outdoors for the Heritage Classic next season and drool over Arizona's all new thrd jerseys
This month's trip to Teal Lane sees us reminisce on our first ever live show which not only was a huge moment for the show but also for me as a content creator
Finally I have a very important podcast update ahead of my long awaited return trip to San Jose
Don't forget if you want to sends us your thoughts then email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you and read out your messages on the show
The final month of the 2022 calendar year brought a lack of discpline and the once mighty penalty kill leak big time as the Seals Reverse Retros got a fair outing throughout the month including two road games in Anaheim and Vancouver, over in Cuda Corner the Barracuda faced adversity for the first time this season which also saw two big milestones the first matchup with the Coachella Valley Firebirds and the last of the Resurgence Jerseys made their glorious debut
This month was a slow month for the WestWatch as there wasn't much news across the conference however we do have some items to cover including history in the US Hockey Hall of Fame from a St.Louis native, Edmonton hand out a contract extension and the dates for Anaheim Ducks Day 2023 are announced
We finish the show by taking another trip down Teal Lane where this time we reminicse about the WestWatch and how it has developed across the five seasons of the Teal Report podcast
If you want to get in touch with the show then please do by emailing us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you and could be reading your thoughts out on the show
November proved to be a sticky point for the Sharks new era as there was plenty of bonus hockey throughout but mainly shootouts which provided a lot of agony as once again their record doesn't show their effort that is being put in, whilst in Cuda Corner the Barracuda had a very busy month full of back to backs including their first encounter with the Wranglers
Over on the WestWatch we have a special Mighty Ducks tribute, see how Colorado fared in their Global Series in Finland and old time rivals Los Angeles provide an intriguing segment as their mascot Bailey dabbled in plastic surgery
In this month's Teal Lane we reminisce to when we did our very first special episode which looked back on the 2019 NHL All Star Weekend that was held in San Jose which saw S.J Sharkie lead Team West to victory in the Mascot Showdown and claimed the Most Valuable Mascot award
If you would like to get in touch with us then please do by emailing us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you and we could be reading your thoughts on the show
Fresh from facing the Preds in Prague things didn't get any easier as the month of October proved to be a very tricky start to the 2022/23 season as we will be looking back on how the month unfolded whilst over at Cuda Corner the Barracuda got off to a brillant start as they began life in their new home at Tech CU Arena
Kicking off the first WestWatch of the season are the Calgary Falmes who bring out an old design for their new third jersey, Arizona Coyotes make the most of a bad situation adjusting to college life and the Seattle Kraken finally get in on the mascot craze
We finish off the show with our very first trip going down memory lane as part of our fifth anniversary season and this time we reminisce on our very first episode back in 2018 and tell you the initial plans for Teal Report as a whole
Oh and I also have a very special announcement to make at the very beginning of the show that you are not going to want to miss honestly I can't express how excited I am!!!
Don't forget we would love to hear from you so get in touch at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com and we could be reading out your messages on the show
In this special bonus edition of the podcast we look back on all the thirlls of the 2022 NHL Global Series that took place in Prague on the 7th & 8th October 2022 featuring your San Jose Sharks and the Nashville Predators...
Whilst things didn't go as well for Teal Town on the ice there were still plenty of things to be excited about as we go through everything from the Global Series Challenge matches and all the sightseeing that the players and SJ Sharkie and Gnash got up to on their respective trips
We start by sharing my intial thoughts on when the news first broke before looking back on the Global Series Challenge matches that took place in the build up to Prague so for Smashville who faced SC Bern whilst Teal Town paid a visit to Eisbaren Berlin and may I say both european clubs did their very best and should be proud of themselvea
Then it's time to turn our attention to the Czech Republic and recap all the action which sadly went Nashville's way
If any of my fellow Sharks fans or if any of the Predators fans attended any of the events and would like to tell us all about it then email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you
This year we're combining the summer show and preseason show into one as the fifth anniversary of the Teal Report podcast kicks off getting you all ready for a new era of San Jose hockey as both teams enter brand new eras
First up we take a look at all the news that had been going across the NHL since we were away and then lookback on how preseason went for the San Jose Sharks ahead of kicking off the season in Europe with the Nashville Predators
Then it's time to make some bold predictions as once again we discuss how the Pacific Division could shape up now we're all settled after last year and try our very best to predict how we'd like the Evolve Era to kick off
As always we would love to hear from you dear listeners and it's so easy to get in touch email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com and we could be reading them out on the show
It's hard to believe that five years ago we began our journey to set out providing a fan's voice on all things going on in the National Hockey League in particular our San Jose Sharks and here we are about to celebrate our Wood Anniversary... So get ready to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Teal Report where we promise to make Season 5 an epic season to remember!!! You can get involved by emailing us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you and could be reading out your message on the the show
After 21 months across two seasons of constantly dropping new episodes into your podcast feeds it's finally time for the Teal Report podcast to get a well earnt rest as whilst the games may be over for the boys in Teal we still have a jampacked Season 4 finale full of content...
Coming up on the show we review the 2021/22 statistics for the San Jose Sharks as well as how many teams they managed to get one over during the season
COVID19 still played a main factor despite the league determined to pretend it was all back to normal but as we all know that was not the case and once again our rant is back with a vegence
We also take a trip down memory lane as the San Jose Barracuda have officially left SAP Center ready to begin a new life in Tech CU Arena
And we finish the show looking back on Season 4 as a whole and look ahead to the future as we prepare to celebrate a milestone of our own
We will still be keeping an eye on our mailbag throughout the summer so if you would like to get in touch with us then email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com
Have a well rested summer and we'll see you in October 2022 for Season 5 of Teal Report
Well for this season April was our version of a typical March as the San Jose Sharks ran into serious trouble as for so many games they came so close and yet so far which is more than the San Jose Barracuda can say for themselves as they had a dismal final month of their campaign as they have officially flew the nest as Tech CU Arena opens to hockey Oct 22
In the final WestWatch of the season we look ahead to the Western Conference playoffs by looking at the matchups and making some bold predictions on who could take the Clarence S Campbell trophy from Montreal and represent us in the Stanley Cup Final this June
Don't forget to take part in our fun little survey which asks who you think will play the Barracuda in their first ever game at Tech CU Arena on the 22nd October 2022 by followig this link - https://surveyhero.com/c/ut4fgjdx
Feel free to get in touch with us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you our fellow Teal Town citizens wherever you are across the world
Well I don't know about you guys but the month of March certainly got my blood boiling mainly thanks to the boys in the zebra costumes as the officating in this league went to new levels of disgusting which even resulted in costing the Sharks some much needed and vital results as the Western Conference is starting to get tightly packed
The Barracuda on the other hand had a much better month than last time as not only did they win more games they were also able to manage a decent points streak although it might be too little too late for a late playoff push
In the WestWatch there wasn't much in terms of news this month so instead we've decided to focus on all of the deals and moves that took place during the Trade Deadline
And we finish off the show by giving you a podcast update as we enter the home stretch
Don't forget if you would like to get in touch with the show email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com
While I was having fun following the Olympic coverage across both the BBC and Eurosport things took a disatrous turn in San Jose as the Sharks spent the month digging themselves in holes which they couldn't come out of as James Reimer is yet to be given a long overdue rest from the pipes...
In Cuda Corner the Barracuda would like to have forgotten this month's fixtures as they were only able to manage one win and it was against a club not in their division
Also on the show we look back on all the latest news that broke whilst I was away and I give you a little take on some of the highlights from Beijing
If you would like to get in touch with us then email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com and we could be reading out your message on the show
A big shout out to Brodie Brazil as his Night Shift on YouTube was a big help for me to gather my thoughts on the three games that took place during the Winter Olympics, massive thank you!!!
Well it's fair to say if this month's games was a zone in The Crystal Maze the sharks wouldn't have walked away with as many crystals as this month did not see our finest hour to put it bluntly and in Cuda Corner things did not get any better either as whilst they had a lot of high shot counts not a lot of them went into the back of the net
Over on the WestWatch St.Louis Blues mascot Louie gatecrashes as we relive the fun and excitment from this year's Winter Classic, Calgary's arena situation also provides the talking point and our running gag with the Edmonton Oilers is finally over thanks to a terrible interview with one of its star players
If you would like to get in touch then do email us your thoughts at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com and we might read out your messages in a future edition of our show
Sadly duw to technical difficulties we've had to scrap the live show and so it's business as usual as we look back on December 2021 which had been quite a turbulent month for the San Jose Sharks which feature two big pieces of history in the form of the first visit to UBS Arena the new home of the New York Islanders and the first visit from the new kids Seattle Kraken
On the WestWatch the Nashville Predators unveil their Stadium Series jerseys, Anaheim Ducks get into the christmas spirit and Vancouver Canucks celebrate their past
Cuda Corner is quite a hectic one this time round as the Barracuda had a very busy December as they continue to navigate their way through a very crowded Pacific Division
If you would like to get in touch with us then email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com and we might read out your email on a future episode of the show
With the league pulling the plug on participation at the 2022 Winter Olympics we host an emergency episode of the Teal Report podcast to basically rage at everything that has gone on in the past 48 hours that has led to this point...
But don't panic it's not an hour long screech fest as we will also explain how this sudden change of events is going to affect the podcast going forward leading up to the Olympic break or should I now say leading up to my Olympic break because I'm having one even if the league won't!!!
Don't forget you can get in touch and we would love to hear from you and read out your thoughts on the show so email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com and your email could be read out on the show
Both San Jose clubs have had to be brave and come together literally as the issues surrounding COVID19 continued to plague the Bay area despite the fact both Ottawa and the Islanders were placed in shutdowns similar to what saw happen to a lot of teams last season...
Despite the pandemic the month of November proved to be a rocky road full of highs and lows for both sides and we will be covering all of it in the Lookbacks and Cuda Corner which saw history as the Barracuda made their first official visit to Abbotsford if only I can pronounce it correctly
This month's Westwatch also had some history made as for the first time ever in four seasons of the show we feature the same team twice as Los Angeles do the unthinkable which gives me a laugh also our reactions to Vegas aqquiring Jack Eichel and Chicago firing head coach Jeremy Colliton after only one month into the new season
And of course we would love to feature your thoughts on our show so please get in touch with us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com and we might read them out on the show
As the title says the National Hockey League has entered a brand new world and the way we do things at Teal Report has shaken up too as the first month of the San Jose Sharks season took everyone by surprise but they're still on a learning curve that's for sure... In this edition we look back on October's fixtures for both the San Jose Sharks and the San Jose Barracuda and our middle section is revamped as Pacific Watch becomes Westwatch as we share our thoughts on the first month for the Seattle Kraken, rant about the billionth aliternate jersey for the Los Angeles Kings and run down the confirmed candidates so far for Beijing 2022 Don't forget dear listeners you can get involved too by sharing your thoughts by getting in touch with us at our official email tealreportpodcast@gmail.com it would be lovely to hear from you and we might read out your message on the show
Before puck drops on the 2021/22 season there's just enough time for us to hold the first ever preseason show of the Teal Report podcast and oh my are you in for a treat dear listeners...
As well as looking back on all of the preseason action I'll also be making predictions for the year ahead with regards to our Sharks, the Kraken and the Pacific Division as a whole
Just a reminder whatever you do don't hold me to these predictions as chances are some of them might not happen!!!
Don't forget you can also share your thoughts for the year ahead by getting in touch via the show's official email - tealreportpodcast@gmail.com we would love to hear from you!!!

Whilst the Sharks may not have gotten any playoff action this year the Barracuda were on the other hand treated to a very rare and special kind of tournment as the AHL's Pacific Division were the only ones to elect to hold a postseason to crown it's division champion
And so on this special edition of Teal Report we look back on the AHL Pacific Division Playoffs 2021 from the very begining with the Play in which we outrightly won all the way through to the Condors crushing Henderson's dreams (ha ha!!!)
This is it folks we've made it through the end of a tough season and whilst today is our season finale there's still plenty more to come on Teal Report Season 3...
On today's show we lookback on the final month of the season for both the Sharks and Barracuda and then take a look at the statistics for the 2020/21 San Jose Sharks season
Also on the show we have a surprise Pacific Watch which I use to talk more on how we're going to take this podcast forward as we look to the future as we try to build our fan engagement not just this podcast but my GDH Sounds brand as a whole, as well as that I let out everything I felt the NHL did wrong during this season because of the pandemic and SJ Sharkie joins me as we say a farewell to Arizona who are about to start a new life in the Central Division
Finally we look back on all the amazing work we've done on Season 3 which I am so proud of how we've taken this podcast further which I look to build on as we head into Season 4 which will begin Fall 2021
Keep safe my fellow Sharks & Cuda fans ad I'll see you in the summer for our three special shows where we will look back on the The AHL Pacific Division playoff tournament, the West Division as a whole and have a live show looking back on the Seattle Kraken's expansion draft, so make sure you're subscribed to the podcast so you won't miss out when those specials drop into the podcast oceans
Don’t forget you can now get in touch with us if you have any thoughts on the Sharks season or have a question you'd like us to try and have a go at answering then email us at tealreportpodcast@gmail.com, we would love to hear from you my fellow Teal Town supporters

Well April became the new March as the sharks went on a massive slump and are now officially out of this year's playoffs but that's in my opinion a good thing as this year's format would have seen us have to most likely play Vegas and then potentially Colorado so I'd rather watch with intrigue this year and then make a run at it in 2022
There was however some good news to celebrate and that was our very own Patrick Marleau breaking the all time record for most games played in the National Hockey League with his 1768 game being played in Vegas on April 19 2021 and I have got a special short tribute to start our show
Also there's some exciting news for the Barracuda in this month's Cuda Corner and the St.Louis Blues finally give us a segment for the West Division Pacific Watch and then we round off the show with our final Anniversary segment as we reveal my all time favourite playoff games from our San Jose Sharks
We're back with another live edition of the Teal Report podcast and this time we look back on the month of March which provided us with a lot of drama mostly good a little bit of bad and some downright ugly officiating, also before we get properly started I blow off some steam on Erik Karlsson's whining and have my mind blown at Darryl Sutter's harsh words on one of Calgary's future hall of famers...
Also on today's show as well as looking back on the month of March for our sharks, Frenzy joins me for a very special live edition of Cuda Corner which gets gatecrashed by a certain canadian
We then round up the show with a very special Anniversary segment looking at the sharks hall of famers and the Anaheim Ducks provide the West Division Pacific Watch another first that you will have to tune in to find out!!!

My oh my what a month this has been for so many reasons we finally came back home to California but the dangers of COVID19 still followed us as one player was put on the NHL's Protocol list and in this month's show I have my say on how the league has treated us Sharks throughout this pandemic so far...
Also coming up on the show after blowing off some much needed steam we look back on the month of February as the big question on who to trust in net is starting to swing in favour of Martin Jones then on the West Division Pacific Watch it's two for one as Minnesota and Vegas are featured and by coincidence both their features involve Colorado
Over at Cuda Corner it's been a more difficult month for our younger siblings as AHL hockey returned but complications from other teams affected their schedule in more ways than one
Finally as part of our 30th Anniversary Segments this year I talk about which teams I wouldn't mind to see the Sharks host or visit if our team is lucky to go back Outdoors again!!!
After over 300 days sharks hockey is finally back as we knew it would which also means it's time to bring back the segements that help to make the Teal Report podcast what it is as the Lookbacks & Pacifc Watch returns even if they will feel different this year Not only will we be looking back on the Sharks first month of the season in the West Division we also in our brand new Cuda Corner segment look at how the San Jose Barracuda's exhibition games went down On our first Pacific Watch of the season Colorado make it all fun and games as they provide me some nostalga and teach me about a video game that I definately hadn't heard of before Finally we conclude with our first Anniversary Segment as part of the Sharks 30th Anniversary as I talk about how I picked the Sharks as my team back in 2009 and how you can use my tips to pick your NHL team if you haven't already done so
Oh my god what a jampacked episode we've got and I'm not talking about the raspberry kind as hockey is just around the corner and so before the puck drops in the West Division for 2021 there's just enough time to give my thoughts on the format for the 2021 NHL season...
Also on the show we talk about the new cash cow scheme the league will be launching this year and I have a go at making some preseason predictions (just don't hold me to them)
Finally to wrap up the show I explain what the remainder of Season 3 will look like now that the Sharks are finally heading back out on the ice for the first time since being in Chicago on March 11 2020
2020 is almost out of sight but before we leave behind the worst year of our lives I thought we'd look back on how the league's return to play plan went down back in the summer and let me tell you guys I can't believe how much opinion I had on this despite the fact our Sharks didn't have to play infact there's so much to discuss we've had to split the episode into two parts...
In Part 2 we start by getting topical as I feel I need to say something about the mini boycott that took place affecting the second round and we also look back on the snooze fest that was the Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Final 2020
In Part 1 we look back on how the Round Robin stages, the Qualifying round and Round 1 of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs plus to end this first part I've got a little suprise to everyone involved with the St.Louis Blues that will have you in stitches!!!
With COVID19 disrupting Season 2 and forcing us to cancel the finale episode there was one particular segment we never got to do and that was to digest over the statistics of the 2019/20 season for our San Jose Sharks...
So instead, we're going to do it now as let's face it nothing else is going on right now is there, so get ready to relive the stats of the 2019/20 season featuring the good, the bad and the downright ugly
Oh what a blast we had doing a live YouTube show of the Teal Report podcast as Season 3 begins in the most unusual of fashions but that is what happens when you're a seasonal show and the thing you need to make episodes isn't happening at least for another three months!!!
But unlike the bozos in charge of the National Hockey League we here at Teal Report have adapted to the current climate as explained in the show also we have a very much needed catchup so have fun listening and make sure to keep safe
Also you can watch our YouTube version of the episode by visiting my official YouTube channel George Hand and whilst you're there don't forget to click the subscribe button, thank you

Well, well, well since we last met the world imploded and unfortunately whether we're being responsible or not about it COVID19 is all we can talk about right now as in what became the unofficial finale for Season 2 we have an unusual episode for you split into three parts...
In Part 1 we round up the timeline of events that led to the situation we're curently in for the Sharks & the league
In Part 2 it's the lookback section in where we look back on the few games that did take place in March 2020
In Part 3 I give my opinion on what could and should happen next for the National Hockey League and how this negatively impacts our beloved Sharks
I guess for now this will be it until Season 3 which will begin in October 2020 with a special premiere episode as I talk about my plans to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our beloved San Jose Sharks, until then keep safe and take care of your wellbeing
Well the title says it all as it took fifty eight games for the San Jose Sharks to record their first shut out win of the 2019/20 campaign in a month which saw injuries and departing vets as the mad GM chose to make even more barmy descisions which this loyal sharks fan still can't get his head around however we won't dwell on it too much on this show that's for sure.
Also on the show we have a first for the Pacific Watch as we look back to see how our neighbours in the south LA Kings took on the Colorado Avalanche in the 2020 Stadium Series matchup that took place in Denver.
It's the start of a brand new decade for the San Jose Sharks and it was a very mixed bag for the team not just in terms of results but another major injury would make a very big impact going forward.
Also on the show in our first Pacific Watch of the 2020s decade we try to dissect if Arizona Coyotes newest howler Phil Kessel has been able to help improve their chances going forward
Well where do you start to describe a month that everybody would like to forget the fans, players, coaching staff and indeed S.J. Sharkie himself as after a amazing November for Team Teal this month was full of near misses, blowout losses and a much needed coaching change implemented but in my opinion that's only half of the problem sorted with so much still needing to take place to turn things around.
Due to Sharkie not getting inducted into the 2020 class of the Mascot Hall of Fame I had to rush this edition of Pacific Watch to get it done on time ready for the programe so Canucks fans you'll have to forgive me here as your team is this show's topic for the segment!!!
What a month that was for the Sharks who needed a big boost and they got it in a major home stand as they only had to travel four times and got to spend the majority of the month in SAP Center, it wasn't all rosy however as you'll see throughout the episode.
Over on the Pacific Watch tempers flare as the league's own official twitter account caused a bitter row that made the Sharks-Golden Knights rivalry a thousand times more toxic than it already was!!!
With having to go back and forth on various episode titles shows just how an uphill this season will be especially when your general manager Doug Wilson gives away key star players and doesn't bring any in return, but here in San Jose we will learn to rise above it and carry on with business as usual in what was a turbulent first month of 2019-20
On a lighter note our friends from Anaheim debut a new alternate jersey that looks surprisingly familiar in the first Pacific Watch of season two.
The 2019/20 season for our San Jose Sharks is just around the corner and the Teal Report podcast is ready for another year and we are continuing right where we left off to provide you a fan's opinion as at the end of the day it's what the fans think that matters...
So get ready as Season Two of Teal Report starts in November 2019!!!
Well here we are it's our massive first season finale which looks back on the final three regular games of the 2018/19 season for our Sharks and then we have for you guys a lengthy preview of what will be an epic first round matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights before rounding of our first year as a podcast with a bang!!
Thank you all for listening, keep spreading the word and until Season 2 which will be available from November 2019 from all of us here at Teal Report have a great summer
The crucial month of the year was pretty much a game of two halves which could be used to describe this edition of the show as the team started strongly but after Winnipeg wipes out a key member of our team for the second year in a row it proved to be an injury that we couldn't recover from!!
Also this episode contains the final Pacific Watch of the season as the segment won't be featured for the finale but don't worry it's a good one as we compare James Neal's stats for Calgary against his previous two seasons (Once again Edmonton Oilers fans sorry that your team wasn't featured at all this year, try again next season!!)
In the words of the great Arisa Cox "You can and you will" something that we applied on that great Canadian road trip and its also something that should be in the back of the team's minds going forward!! It wasn't all Canadian related though as the Sharks made big trade deadline moves and closed out the month on a sketchy eastern road trip
However regarding this episode's Pacific Watch you're going to have to listen to the show to see who's under the spotlight this time (here's a clue though its one of our Canadian divisional rivals)
Sometimes in show business things can change at the last minute and that's exactly what happened when I decided to instead to record a special episode highlighting everything that happened at this year's All Star Weekend instead of including it in this episode.
So what do you get in Episode 4 well we look back on what had been a golden month for the San Jose Sharks so far in the 2018-19 season despite there being a few bumps in the road
The new Pacific Watch item now focuses on the big topic in the league right now which is what the hell has happened to the Anaheim Ducks!!!
The 2019 NHL All Star Weekend took place in San Jose between the 25-26th January and in this special edition of Teal Report we look back on what has no doubt been a special and spectacular event for SAP Center
In this special edition we look back at some of the firsts that was featured at this year's event and recap on all of the competitions that took place, even the mascots get their very own mention in this show.
And of course a big congratulations to our very own SJ Sharkie for winning Most Valuable Mascot!!!
After a murky November for our team the final month of 2018 was able to raise our spirits as this episode looks back on December for our San Jose Sharks which was full of back to backs
Over on the Pacific Watch we go behind the statistics as with the Coyotes being forced to move divisions when Seattle arrives in 2021 we see who Arizona's done better against Central or Pacific teams
It's a bit of a passionate episode this one as November 2018 proved to be a very tricky month for our Sharks with the main problem being the lack of challenging goals a big fat issue!!!!
Meanwhile on the Pacific Watch our old rivals LA Kings provide two topics for the price of one
Here we go with the first ever episode of Teal Report, This month's episode sees us look back over the first month of the 2018/19 San Jose Sharks season.
Also on the show the Vegas Golden Knights provide entertainment in a really hilarious way in the first installment of Pacific Watch
Hope you enjoy listening!!!
Calling all my fellow San Jose Sharks fans I have got some exciting news for you!!!
