Yes, it is true, I can't focus on only one thing, I want it all and I want it right now. It's not a secret that I get pretty excited very easily. At the moment I think I have a nice obsession with Softball, it's been a month since I joined this league and I'm loving it!, Best part? My best friend is included!

I don't think I told you about this before but, in 2015 I started my own babysitting service, It's called BookaNanny.mx and we provide childcare services to people that visit Mexico City and Puebla for business or leisure.BookaNanny.mx is a very DIY project, we all contribute with our knowledge; for example, the Nanny who is a nutriologist tells us about the food we should avoid if we are taking care of a kid that follows a very strict diet; Our Nanny who is a designer keeps our webpage nice and easy to navigate and so on.The other day I met up with part of the team for a chat, snacks and of course, pictures. Please meet: Paola, Bere, Nathalie, Lore and me.if you wanna book a Nanny click here: https://www.bookananny.mx/

This is my friend Antonio Tranquilino, he plays music but also loves to cook. Together, we enjoy dancing, eating rice, drinking beer and telling stories.Antonio Tranquilino currently plays in 3 different bands; Velázquez, Yokozuna and Pobrediablo. Because of that, he has had the chance to travel around the world.I wish I could join him next time he goes to Chicago, that way we can have a picnic somewhere in Pilsen.

I'm so excited about this Photo-story, It means a lot to me.As you may now know, traveling has become a true priority in my life. I have had jobs that had required me to relocate or to travel: as a kids club attendant at a resort in the Mexican Caribbean, as an au pair in the USA, as a videographer for a tour company and most recently as a youth activities counselor on a cruise ship that sails to the Bahamas. What I love the most about my job experiences, is the beautiful people that I've met along the way. During my time aboard the cruise ship I had the chance to be part of a wonderful "ohana" incredible people that no matter where you come from they are always there for you. I'm so thankful for that. This time I'm sharing pictures of these two shipmates that came to visit me! Nathalia from Aguascalientes, MX and Katie from New York, USA. "Aren't they so much fun?"Ohana means Family

I spent the past four months working aboard a cruise ship, a Disney one. And yeah, life at sea is very exciting but very demanding as well, you work every day of your contract, there are no days off, just a couple of hours to eat, sleep, do laundry and if you have the chance, get off the ship and “explore” that means, go grab some lunch at port and come back to work. Don’t get me wrong, I had a blast, I found some cool people to talk to and have fun with, like this girl in the pictures, Christina. I met Christina at a party, she is from Valencia, Spain we worked at the same department and she is as crazy as me, it took us no time to realize that we wanted to be roommates and we had the best plans. One day Christina woke up with a bad back pain, they gave her pills, shots, and everything, but nothing worked… it was the movement of the ship that didn’t help, and in a matter of no time (like de un día para otro) Christina left the ship and was sent back home to recover. These are some pictures we took on her last night on the ship, we were so sad cause we were supposed to be roommates and have our own DJ set. I miss you XC.

My friend Natalia Volovsek (we call her Volo) lives with her mother and brother at a beautiful house in Tepepan, Xochimilco a beautiful town in Mexico City. The house has like this "down floor" that makes you think it is a basement but it is not, it actually has a big window and a door to a big green area.I don't know, but I have the idea that her father built the shelves before he moved to another city. I loved them and asked my friend to stand there for a few shots. Something that I really like is that she is wearing my favorite dress and sweater, I LOVE to wear them both ALL THE TIME.

Pilsen is one of my favorite neighborhoods ever! Long ago, this place was occupied by the Eastern European Immigrants, mostly Czechs… Actually that’s how this place got its name (cause Plzeň is a city in Czech Republic! ) but in the 60’s more and more Latinos came to this neighborhood and by the 90’s, Pilsen was already known as a neighborhood of Mexicans as it is populated in its great majority by Mexican Immigrants and Mexican-American folks. Last week while I was staying in Chicago, I had the chance to meet up with the guys from Viernes Media www.viernesmedia.com and I convinced them to visit my favorite “Barrio” . I don’t know but I think they liked it.
