Beyond the rivers of Ethiopia aims to help restore the identity of the Bantu nation. We are convinced that the Bantu people are the descendants of Israel. Our mission is to awaken the nation to its identity and teach about going back to our God through his son Yahshua Hamashiach, the great shepherd of the sheep and the gate to our Elohim.
Now that Israel is waking up, the relevance of the Mosaic law has the potential to divide us. This episode takes a logical linear approach to thinking about how Yah had dealt with Israel around the law throughout the Bible. We posit that the law that was both universal and permanent was to come from the tribe of Judah and not Levi. We further show that Yahoshua obeyed and fulfilled the law from the tribe of Levi given through Moses. He then put that law aside and now He writes His new law on our hearts in baptism. Our prayer is that Israel will agree on the words and commandments of Yahoshua.
Implicit in Yahoshua's commandment to love our enemies, is the assumption that we know who they are. Children of Israel, the Bantu people, need to know who their enemies are from a biblical perspective. We have inadvertently been sleeping with the enemy. But we also have an unlikely enemy that we created ourselves. This episode explores these concepts in the hope that it will stimulate more study from the listener.
The fields of Organisational Behaviour and Organisational Development have become important to modern enterprises. OD needs an understanding of OB to be effective. The basic building block of OB is the individual. How well an individual performs in an organisational setting depends on self-esteem which feeds on identity. A person’s sense of who they are or their self-image is linked to their group membership. The Bantus needs to know who they are to be achieve their potential at work and at home.
One of the questions a get asked a lot, especially by those who come from western Christian churches is why should the identity of Israel matter in the new covenant era. I suspect it is because most of us have been taught that God is done with Israel as a nation, that he does not see a difference. We started answering this question already, and this is Part 2 of the answer. It is not meant to be exhaustive as we are learning every day. Should we feel that there is a need to augment our answer, we will certainly do another podcast. When we know that the Bantu people are Israel, the Bible makes so much sense. Most importantly though we will see ourselves clearly through Yah's eyes and behave appropriately, as He expects us to.

Is there still value in the Christian observing the law? In this episode, we argue that if you are a Bantu Israelite, it is important that you explore this question yourself. Is there value in observing the Shabbat. We contend that the answer is an emphatic YES! What if we kept Exodus 22:16. How would our society look like? And what about the Passover, which we are observing through the Easter weekend? Isn't it rooted in the law of Yahawah. We hope our reflection on these issues helps Israel.
The letter to the Galatians was occasioned by Judaizers perverting the gospel of Yahshua by compelling Gentile Christians to be circumcised in order to be part of Yahawah's people. The apostle Sha'ul writes the letter to assure the gentiles of Galatia that they do not have to observe the Mosaic law. In the process, he writes a statement that is being misused primarily by the gentiles of today to conceal the identity of Israel. This podcast episode puts the letter and its main content around identity in their right perspective.
The letter to the Romans is considered apostle Shaul's finest work. Its deep exposition of the gospel has helped the mind of the follower of Yahshua. Chapters 9 to 11 deal with the gospel in relation to Israel. This section makes it important for us to understand the identity of Israel even more.
This is the first episode of a series that will answer the question: why does it matter that the Bantu people are Israel. We explore what Yahawah said to Israel when He warned about disobedience in Deuteronomy. He also anticipated that Israel would disobey and told them how they can make a comeback. But how can they make a comeback if they do not know who they are? Marcus Garvey said a people without the knowledge of their history and culture is like a tree without roots.
In this episode, we discuss the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the name of His Son. By looking at how Hebrew names are constructed, we can see the meaning of both the Father's Name and His Son's name. Our God has always been concerned about His people forgetting His name. We hope that this discussion will help us strengthen our connection with our Elohim.
In this episode, we discuss briefly the structure and contents of the Bible, with a sharp focus on the New Testament. We hone in specifically on the book of Romans and reveal who the Gentiles are and why the gospel was taken to them. Most importantly, we discuss how we should read the letter to the Romans. We call on Israel to take their book seriously and know it.
Psalm 83 was written by Asaph, the chief musician in King David's court. Through it, Asaph informs Yah about the conspiracy against His people. He calls Yah to act. The Gentiles, led by Esau, are still implementing this conspiracy: to destroy us as a nation, to make Israel's name be remembered no more, and to make us forget who we are. Now that we know who we are, we can clearly see how they have done this. We say it is not too late for us to be a nation again. Yah will vindicate us.
Following our discussion of the circumcision of the heart, this episode further clarifies baptism and its associated teachings, i.e., what should precede it and who should be baptized. We also clarify Matthew 3:11, where Yohan says Yahshua is going to baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. We explain what the baptism of fire is.
In this episode, we demonstrate that the gospel of Yahshua Hamashiach is Bantu culture perfected. We do this by examining the climax of the gospel, i.e., the crucifixion and resurrection of the Prince of Peace, Sar wa Shalom, identifying His death as magadi, the bride price, and his baptism, i.e the destruction of his life. His resurrection enabled Israel to receive the circumcision of the heart, something that Yah had promised to do for them so that they may be able to obey Him.
Moses announced the gospel of Yahshua even before the nation of Israel entered the Promised Land. This episode goes back to Deuteronomy and looks at what Yah said about the Prophet. We believe it is important for our people to understand the roots of the gospel of Yahshua.
In this episode, we identify the nation of Deuteronomy 28:49; the people Yah would send to carry out his punishment of Israel. We approach this by looking at the curses that Yah warned Israel about. Since we know that Israel broke their covenant with Yah, we look at how and where the curse of slavery took place, who were the enslavers, and who were victims.

We aim to discuss their history, language, culture, and living conditions and contrast it to what Yah said would happen if they violated the covenant.
