Every week until election day, your host Vera Holloway, will sit down with her mother-in-law, Sandy Holloway who is running for mayor of Thibodaux. They will talk through the challenges our city faces and Sandy's goals for meeting those challenges. Vera will be asking tough questions and Sandy says she is ready. Sandy desires to bring growth and unity to the city of Thibodaux. Tune in to hear for yourself what she can do for the greater good of the Thibodaux community.
In Episode 8, your host Vera will sit down with Sandy for a final recap before election day!
Sandy will be discussing what the first 90 days will look like if elected and her transition plan. Sandy kicked off her campaign back in April of this year and has finally come down to the final week. She is feeling energized, hopefully and really eager to finish strong. She discusses moments in the campaign in which she knew exactly why she was running for mayor. It has always been about the people and will continue to be about them. She recaps with the final three things she would like the voters to know before Nov. 8th
On Monday, Oct. 24, 2022 The Lafourche Alliance for Good Government hosted a public forum for candidates for mayor and city council. In today's episode your host, Vera Holloway, will provide audio clips of questions asked to Sandy and her responses. You will hear a range of questions that host, Cody Blanchard, asked to both candidates. In Episode 6, Sandy will be discussing a key issue for many families throughout the city of Thibodaux - crime and safety. She will also talk about the connection between education and the reduction of crime. In this episode, Sandy will talk about the importance of family values and some things she instilled into her now 3 adult children.
